To make this review meaningful, let me explain where I'm coming from: I don't really like clothes. I especially don't like underwear. Also worth noting is that I hate wearing most synthetic fabrics that I've ever tried, just don't like the slight static charge feeling they tend to generate with movement. So, it was a leap of faith, based partially on the previous reviews, for me to order these (after accepting the fact that sometimes you just gotta wear something underneath). Having said that, I think these shorts are changing my worldview. Seriously. I was a little disturbed that they had a fairly strong chemical (solvent-y) smell out of the package, but it completely vanished with one washing. They don't build up a static charge, they breath (the fabric is more mesh-like than you would expect) and in general only make themselves known by adding comfort. The cut is quite obviously designed to be not restrictive and functional rather than fashionable, so I'm giving them 5 stars for fashion for that reason. They are a perfectly designed product for their purpose, and knowing that things like that still come along makes me like the world (of clothing, and in general) just a little bit more.

I got these for my husband for Christmas to replace a few old boxers he'd been hanging onto. He's only worn Brooks Brothers boxers for years and I wanted him to try something new. He loves these and so do I. They are very silky soft and nice looking. I think he likes that they are sporty and good for travel too though we have no plans of putting them through the two pairs for one week test. Overall much better than boring blue cotton. We'll be getting more for sure.

Awesome material and comfort. You can travel with only a few pairs of these if you wash one while wearing the other. I'm currently deployed and I love these. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that they are a little "roomy" as the picture somewhat indicates. If they were a bit more form fitting, but still loose, they would be the perfect boxer.

These are the best. I purchased 2 pairs before taking a 6 month trek to Africa, not a preplanned see Africa from a bubble tour, but a real hands on trek. Little water, soap, etc. These shorts should be in everyone's kit list who does heavy travel. Easy to wash, they dry fast, and are light. Spoke with some South African Special Forces on the way, and they wear a very similar type short.

I bought these for my husband who absolutely LOVES them. He wears them to lounge around the house, not necessarily as undergarments. They have a strange texture which almost feels like a thin rubber but my husband assures me they are super comfortable. He owns 2 pair now and likely will own more in the future.

My husband really likes these. He says they are very comfortable to sleep in.

Good fit, good feel, good look, easy to wash, easy to dry. What else can you ask for in a pair of underwear?

These are awesome. They dry extremely quickly. Even if they're still a little damp in the morning, I just put them on and then they will dry in minutes. This makes it possible to travel with just two pairs -- saving tons of space. And they are comfy, too. No complaints whatsoever.

These are hands-down the most comfortable boxers I've ever worn. You'll feel like you're going commando.

I can't believe that... I can't believe 1) ...I paid 30 bucks for underwear. I am used to paying that much for a three pack or five pack. 2) ...How much I liked them. Yes, they are great for sports, hiking or 100 degrees. They are also perfect for everyday wear. These are outstanding. 3) ...That I am reviewing a product, and underwear of all things. Check the record, this is my one and only review and I have been buying from Zappos for years. Guys these are worth it. 4) ...that I am ordering 6 more pair. That's right, started with two now I am ordering 6 more. 5) ...how much my wife liked them, especially the black. "Those are hot", her words. Another great reason why I am ordering more. Guys, these are well worth the money, especially if you are the sports or outdoors type but even if you are not. Buy a pair, wash them two or three times to break them in, and then hold on for the ride. You can thank me later.

Fantastic! A high price but great utility and use. I use for sports and long motorcycle trips where I do not have a lot of space to pack. I simply turn them inside out & wear them into the shower with me at the end of a long hot ride. I wash them off, rinse, them, finish my shower, hang them up and they are perfectly dry well before morning. I can make a two week ride with just a few pairs. Also perfect for golf and travel.

We spent the hot month of July traveling all over Italy. When it's 100 degrees out and you are on your feet all day as a tourist with no air conditioning - there is no better friend than these undershorts! And you can hand wash them in your hotel room at night and they are dry in no time at all. Don't leave home with out them!

Very breathable and comfortable. Great for this Texas summer. A little pricey but may buy another pair.

These boxers are very comfortable. The sizing accommodates my ample rear end better than most other brands. It may take a little longer than over night to dry completely, but the material is surprisingly wearable for a few days at a time.

Love these boxers! I wear them daily here in Afghanistan and you can rinse them out and they're ready to go the next day! Great for travelling too!

I've worn them only a couple of times in preparation for a ten-day, out-of-country excursion. I will be wearing one and taking another - that's all the underwear I plan to travel with. The initial wearing was very satisfactory. I look forward to happy wearings.

Best underwear product out there for active guys. I only bought 1 to start with because of the price but now spent the money for the rest of the days in the week. Good time to clean out the underwear drawer of all the other products that are supposed to work.
