"Abbey Road" by Lucky Brand, purchased in Bourbon; My intent was to have a good looking leather (a must for me) bag to go with my new Roper High Heel clogs (in Tan); unfortunately, the color is not a match - close, but no cigar. The bag is quite pretty and "funky" without being overly hippie. The "Bourbon" color is a really nice, richly saturated brown with a touch of red in it - very lovely. The leather itself is rather thin (I was definitely hoping for thicker) but soft. The contrast stitching gives Abbey Road a lot of character - it makes it look handcrafted and not simply coming off an assembly line. Leather has a touch of a "smell" to it, and it is not what you would call a "leather smell" - it is more chemical and I think it might come from the dye. As other reviewer(s) pointed out, this bag has very few pockets, or compartments. Yes, you will be feeling and digging for stuff, instead of just reaching into a compartment. This might be an actual blessing for me as it would make me carry only the "essential" junk from now on, and that is a good thing. The handles are definitely not long enough for shoulder-carrying of Abbey Road, just to hold it open while "digging". The long strap is adequate for shoulder or cross-body use. I’m 5’6” and tested the strap at all lengths, and found the longest configuration worked the best without making the fabric under it visible. Speaking of the fabric... it closely matches the color of the bag so it is not hugely visible, but still, I think, the strap should be made with leather on both sides, not just one. And I thought I’d mention that I totally love the name "Abbey Road"; I’m 50 and a lifelong Beatles fan so Abbey Road has a special meaning to me. I’m still deciding whether to keep Abbey Road or send it back; I’m about 75% for keeping it.

I have been eye balling this bag for some time and recently got the beautiful brown one for Christmas and was even more impressed with it when I got too see and touch it. The leather is so soft and of very high quality and the bag itself very well constructed and simply looks great with jeans and casual wear. It really is the perfect size where I can fit things like my iPad in it, but at the same time it's not the size of a suitcase. I tend to wear it across like a messenger bag, but it also wears nicely on my shoulders. The fall down top is awesome too because I don't have to worry about keeping it closed and having things fall out. I've been a fan and wearer of Lucky bags for years and have gotten more compliments on this bag than any other. I almost cried when I took it to Seaworld and it got soaked with apple juice, but it dried beautifully with no water stains! Love it.

I have this bag in purple and I have been using it for a year and I am still not tired of it. The leather is the super soft and still looks amazing after what I put it through. I have worn this bag in the rain and it still holds up its quality. There is no water staining but the color does fade when it is exposed to excessive sunlight. The half front half is a visibly lighter purple than the back half that never sees the light.The fading doesn't bother me at all because I love the vintage-y worn look of a faded and beat up bag but if it bothers you don't get it. There is also more space in this bag than you think it would. I can fit my 13 inch macbook in this thing and it will have room for my keys, wallet, and sunglasses. This bag is amazing and has been my best friend for the past year and will continue to be as time passes.

I love this bag. It's roomy without being oversized. The outside zipper pocket is convenient for a cell phone, keys, etc. The only thing is the color is not as dark as it appears online, which I was a little disappointed at first, but the color is still fabulous. Soft to the touch and good quality.

I love this bag. I needed a larger bag because I travel a lot and this one will hold everything I need (you can even fit magazines inside). It is extremely cute and I love the long strap. I am only 5 ft, and wish the strap was adjustable, but it is still almost perfect to wear crossbody style. The color is bright and the material is sturdy. I definitely recommend this bag! So cute.

Abbey Road is a nice hold-a-lot (but not all) bag. I got mine in "bourbon" and love the color. The leather is very soft, but not thick at all, and it smells a little (not the "new leather" smell, but maybe from the dye). The bag’s design is lovely; I wanted a fold-over bag for a while and this one fits the bill. The curvy stitching even sparked a conversation with some much younger crowd asking me where I got this bag... they loved the "Abbey Road" Beatles reference! The shoulder strap is just the right length for a comfortable cross-body (I’m 5’7”) and I have had no issues with things falling out due to no zipper/button on top. The size of this bag is perfect for cutting down on all the unnecessary junk we all carry around - you still have plenty of room for essentials. Verdict: Love it! 4.5 out of 5.

Love this bag -- the light interior makes finding stuff so much easier. I love the adjustable shoulder strap. This is one of the few crossbody bags that did not look like either a saddle bag or frumpy. It carries a lot -- I carry a fat wallet, makeup bag, iPhone, two glasses cases, plus keys, mail, snack, small hand cream -- it all fits and does not look stuffed.

I want a purse that will last for years, and be in in style for years. Not these clothe, plastic, or similar materials. Leather only. Lucky brand has the size, style and class that will last a long time.

I bought two purses at the same time, this one and a fossil that was similar. Surprised to say, I like this one better. Very soft leather, a nice size bag, not too big, not too small. Easy to carry. My iPad fits in there easily. Two thumbs up!

I love this bag! It can be worn like a cross~body or shoulder bag. The leather is soft. I've gotten a few compliments on it.

I love it. I was not familar with the Lucky Brand but my Mom was looking for a purse. I spotted Abbey Road, I instantly fell in love. I looked at the price then put it back on the table and walked away. I kept going back to it and finally decided it would be my forever purse. The salesperson was dressed in all black and held my purse on her wrist and it looked very stylish. I did not think about it not having a zipper I simply used the compartments and a small make up purse inside for smaller things. This purse keeps me organized and I cannot wait to take it on vacation. I think the the smell is the rich smell of leather. My daughter loves its and wants one for herself.

This is a quality bag you will get many years of use and probably tons of compliments! Just got this bag the other day. It is the cutest, most functional, well-made and generally the best bag I own. I am a mother of two and a fan of messenger bags since you need your hands free when dealing with your brood of cling-ons. The leather is soft and supple. The color is perfect for all seasons and your average outfit. The bag is not too big (I'm a small girl)and not so deep you can't get to anything. Lucky Brand makes a nice product with amazing quality and style. (I have another Lucky bag and it is fantastic!) I am so happy with my purchase. The only thing this bag needs is a key clip so you can clip keys and let them fall to the bottom and grab the string to find the keys. I still love the bag and I would buy Lucky Brand again without hesitation. I will be shopping Zappos again because my experience was great, shipping was fast and that 365 day return policy!

I am enjoying this bag very much, though I did actually buy it locally. I could use a couple more internal pockets, that's far from a deal breaker. The only change I really wish for would be for the strap to be about 6" longer. As it is, I gain a bit more length by leaving the clip end unlatched. This works, and gives me a place to clip my car keys.

Best purse/bag purchase ever! I've had this bag for about a year now and haven't changed purses since! I love the fold over top, so I never have to fight with a zipper to open/close. It is also very roomy; I go to school, so I tend to throw my notebook or book in it before I go so I don't have to bring my backpack. The leather is awesome, so soft and perfect! I haven't been able to find another purse/bag that I like even close to this one! My sister has also bought one since I purchased mine and she also loves hers. The shipping is ridiculously fast! I got my purse/bag and a pair of shoes I ordered 2 days after I placed my order! Everyone with a job/kids/school/traveling/comfort needs one of these bags!

I LOVE this bag. Great quality leather that smells like a new baseball glove (or handbag). I love every detail of the bag and expect to be carrying it for a long time. May be too large for some, especially if you're very petite, but I almost always carry a Kindle, book, or small laptop. Also, a great brand name that is not written all over the bag! More than I usually spend on a bag, but worth it. Class A.

LOVE it!!! This was exactly what I have been looking for. Even has that wonderful leather smell!! The purse is soft and rugged like your favorite pair of boots. I was afraid it would be too large when I ordered it because I did not want it to look like a messenger bag... but it is absolutely perfect. The details make it unique and the inside pockets keep everything organized.

Like others who have written reviews, I thought a long time before I purchased this purse because of the price. But now that I own it I'm very happy I did buy it. It's very soft and the straps have several adjustments for both crossbody and shoulder bag lengths. I think my favorite thing is the leather. It's very soft and it squeaks and just like good leather should. My only disappointment is that it's a little larger in person than I thought it would be. But that isn't stopping me from using it every day. If you like large, soft, floppy purses then you should seriously consider this one.

I love this purse so much. I have the mini in the dark purple and the regular size in a gorgeous deep blue. It is just the best. I am not someone who changes purses frequently at all, but with these purses it does not matter. You would think that they would clash with a lot of things but they really do not. I am a big fan of Lucky anyway, and I am not big on having brand name, designer handbags, clothes or shoes, so Lucky just fits my laid back style. I guess I am just a throw back to the 70's.

I have been wanting one of these bags for a long time. The olive color I got is gorgeous. However, I must say I wish they made this bag a little smaller, it is like a messenger bag and me being only 5 feet tall it really looks huge. Takes a little getting used to getting into it and I would only use this in the cold months, it would be too heavy when it is hot out. The leather is like butter and the craftsmanship is A+.

There was only one other time I spent over $100 for a handbag. I chalked this purchase up as my treat for my favorite time of year, fall! How could you not love this bag? Look at the deep, rich worn leather and contrasting top-stitching. Yummy. I will probably use this forever. Another excuse why I spent the money!

I absolutely adore this bag! It is lighter in person, but very durable and far more spacious than it seems. I have received plenty of compliments about the bag and actually use it as a book bag in college and a purse on the weekends. It is both functional and fashionable.

Love this bag. Was a last minute purchase for a trip to Europe and was the perfect small day tote. Nice soft leather and clean bright color. The zippers are a bit rough on skin if you aren't too careful or hurrying a bit, but otherwise just the right number of pockets, and cute enough to be more than functional. :) Oh--also wish the cross body strap detached, but didn't bother me at all after carrying for a while!

This bag is incredible. It's big enough to hold my files, iPad, phones, and everything else, but still small enough to be a cute purse. The lack of leather on the strap doesn't bother me at all, as some reviewers have said. I never spend this much for purses, but it was worth every penny.

I fell in love with this bag at first sight and am buying it in another color -- I bought the first one in blue. The color tones for the blue are wonderfully subtle and soft. The leather is exquisite and the bag is expandable, versatile, and funky. It also hangs beautifully as a shoulder or cross-body bag.
