Straps were too loose - These felt great, very supportive for my very high arches. But I had to send them back because the straps were too loose on my skinny feet and the shoe flopped too much when I walked.

These Chacos are comfortable and look great. I also bought a pair of the hipthong style and they feel even better than these do. Chacos are great for feet with arch support problems. These are not my favorite pair, but they are better than most flip-flops because of the arch support.

Comfy but... I really enjoy these flip-flops. I think they have a good look to them and are definitely more rugged than traditional flip flops I have tried. They do provide good arch support. The only problem I have is that they tend to just not be completely comfortable to my feet. They do not have a soft bottom (which is great for the arch support and ruggedness) but it does hurt the bottoms of my feet from just being rubbed on a hard surface. I would recommend these though.

I’m keeping them anyway - I ordered these along with a pair of Earth and Reef flip flops. These were the best of the three in terms of style and comfort. They aren't the cutest flip flops ever, but they will make fine everyday summer shoes. Good arch support. Perfect width for my narrow feet. Take a little breaking in, but not a ton.

Comfy, but grey - I thought the base of this sandal would be black, not grey. It's cute and comfortable and I wanted something waterproof for the shower, beach, etc.

Pretty narrow and can chafe - Cute flip-flop, but runs pretty darn narrow. I don't have wide feet, just normal size 7s, but this was pretty darn narrow. The right flip-flop rubbed the top of my foot raw, but the other one was fine. I ordered true to size, but probably would have been more comfortable with a half size bigger. Unless you have really bony, narrow feet, I'd get a bigger size. They are cute though!

Chaco's Flip EcoTread - I loved the look of this shoe and expected it too be very comfortable. I am on my feet all day and need comfortable shoes. The comfort and look was everything I expected but I found the shoe to run 1 whole size too small. I ended up giving them to my daughter who wears a size smaller than I do. She loves them!

The brown color is so lovely, with the little cherry blossom design, but the straps are much too tight. Otherwise the foot bed was the right size and length. Going up a size would not fix the problem. They should make them in wide. They provide great arch support and are overall quite comfortable. I wish they worked.

Good arch support, but the thong rubs painfully. I'm actually getting a callous on the top of my foot where it hits.

I really wanted to like this sandal. Cute style and no worry if they get wet. In a fitted shoe, I wear a wide, but in flip-flops the regular width is fine. Unfortunately, the strap on each side of the sandal is inside too much, not leaving much room. As a result I was walking the area where the strap is connected to the sole. Not very comfortable for a full day of walking.

OK, this is my second review, because I finally realized what it is about these flips that are odd. The heel cup is deep, which is fine but the back of the shoe has no lift, so they cause your weight to shift to the heel, which isn't productive for walking. So if you need some lift in the heel or like the feeling of your shoes sort of propelling you forward, these are not for you. Even though I still love the shape and color, I'm finding that I'm sort of fighting them to walk properly.

I really wanted to like these flip flops. I'm seven months pregnant with a 1 1/2 year old to chase around. Given the reviews, I thought these would provide enough arch support to give my back a break, but sadly, they don't. The material was very snug on the inside part of my foot (and even 7 months pregnant, I've got narrow feet.) The upside is that they were better looking than I anticipated. I'm grateful that Zappos has such a great return policy and will continue the hunt for a comfortable flip flop.

Very heavy rubber sole, Not flexible and clunky. Too bad, I was hoping they would be more light and comfortable. If you have no foot issues and are young and strong, these may be fine for you. They seem very sturdy.

This flip is not good for those with narrow feet. Between being a bit loose, and the heaviness of the foot bed, it felt clunky, and like it would not be great for walking. The arch support was great, though. If you have wider feet it would probably be a good choice.

I bought these for the arch, which helped the tingling between toes I was feeling with other flip flops, but, I'm a solid narrow size 6, and these are very tight around the toe causing blisters. I hope they stretch out with more wear.

Top strap rubbing - I bought these sandals to travel in Southeast Asia mainly because my feet get tired if I walk for long hours on end. The bottom and arch support was great, but the inside strap was tight and rubbed to the point in redness, swelling, and became very painful. It could have been my feet swelling, but I would not take them again for long walking days.

These are great for REALLY narrow feet. I bought these because Chacos are supposed to have incredible arch support, a feature typically missing from most flip flops. The Chacos did not disappoint in the arch, good support there, however, the straps were EXTREMELY tight. I wear a 7.5 narrow and purchased the size 8 flip flop. The points at which the straps meet the sole on either side of the foot are so close together that the straps are literally underneath my feet. I keep trying to "break them in," but the straps are so tight, they wear blisters into the top of my feet. I want to believe in these because the arch support is amazing, but perhaps my feet (usually considered narrow) are just too wide for the tight straps. Give these a shot if you have super narrow feet.

I think these look a little cheap for what they cost. They are somewhat comfortable, so I think I will keep them.

Comfort and support - The support of this shoe is very good. I love thongs in the summer but my feet don't always love them. I can wear these shoes full time (which I do) and they remain comfortable and support your foot well. For every day they are excellent but would like some with a little more style for dressier occasions. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

I really wanted to love these, but... Unfortunately have to say I definitely did not. After reading all of the other reviews on this product, I thought they would be good for me to take on a vacation because I was going to be doing a lot of walking. I liked the arch support, but the straps started to rub blisters on the top of my feet and also bruised both of my insteps as well. But as for Zappos, I have to rave about them! Their return policy and procedure is wonderful and easy.

Has supportive arch which is one of the qualities I was seeking; however, even after wearing for several weeks, it continues to rub between my toes and underneath the straps to where it is quite uncomfortable. The sole is a little too hard. It would be nice if the sole, particularly underneath the heel was softer and cushioned.

Not the same as my last pair - If you own an old pair of Chaco flips, be careful. I ordered a replacement pair, but they were a hair smaller and tighter (same size) than my old ones. The sole is very slightly shorter and narrower. In short, they were uncomfortable and I had to return them. (The description says they come in widths, but only B is listed.) On the other hand, my year-old pair are wonderful. They have great arch support for my troubled feet.

OK, but not really worth the price - These are comfortable after breaking them in, but it took me several days and very sore feet in order to break them. I'm not sure they should be so expensive for the pain they put me through. Fairly good arch support. They look like average flips, nobody would guess how much I paid for these! Buy them only if you need very good arch support and you have been unlucky otherwise. Also, the "black" ones are really brown. Although still pretty, not what I expected.

They didn't work for me. I really wanted this flip flop. I love wearing them in the warmer months. I loved the look of these, they felt comfortable and seem durable. The only thing was they didn't fit my foot well. I don't have a wide foot but my foot was hanging over the side. The length was small as well. What a bummer. I might try a larger size at a local store to see if they fit better.
