Decided to try a different brand of sport flip flop this summer. Loved the color of the Chaco. The arch support is very good. My reason for giving 4 stars rather than 5 is the weight of the sandal. It's a bit heavy and quite expensive for this type shoe. Will likely go back to Reef next time.

I am 57 years old and I have been wearing flip flops my entire life. Since I am getting up in years I decided to get a flip flop with an arch support. Unlike any flip flop I have ever wore, these needed a break-in period; for me, about a month. Flip flops should not need to be broken-in. I paid quite a bit for these sandals and even though my feet and legs never get tired I always go back to my Havaianas. They are what they say they are but it takes too much time to get there, Sorry!

Super comfortable flip flop. Just wish the inside of the flip flop was a smoother surface. I needed to get used to it.

These flips are very cute and I love the sunset color. The first thing I noticed is that there is less width and length than all the other flipflops I own in the same size. Which isn't to say they are too small for me, they simply are more compact I guess, and I'm a size 9 so anything that makes my feet look smaller I love! But if I had a wider foot they may not fit or I may needed a larger size. I had no problem with the thong part, it is very comfortable. I have flat feet and really need that extra arch support, and these shoes have it. That being said, there's only so much support you can get from a flip flop! I really like the diamond pattern on the footbed and I didn't need any time to get used to it, it's sort of massaging. I also think this footbed is much better at keeping down moisture and foot odor which tend to be a problem with most flip flops. My only negative is that there really is not enough cushioning for me. I can wear them for several hours, but then my soles hurt and I need to change into something more comfortable (and I'm on my feet a lot running after a five year old). On the positive side, I've never had a pair of flip flops that immediately felt like they belonged on my feet, conforming to every curve. The lift in the toes helps keep the shoes on and I don't have to grip as tightly as usual, and they don't flop around as much as others. All in all I highly recommend these shoes (and you can't beat a lifetime guarantee!) but I wouldn't be wearing them hiking or walking around all day. For me they are great for casual use, running errands, kicking around the neighborhood and so forth.

These have great arch support for my very high arches. I normally wear a size 8 1/2 and in these, the 8 is too short, but the 9 is too long. This matters in a shoe that has great arch support!

I wanted to love this shoe, but it was too narrow at the top of the foot. I kept them for a few days, determined to stretch them out, but they didn't. I sent them back. The style was very cute though.

Best arch support of what seems like the hundreds of flip-flops I've tried. Only problem is the sizing. I'm a true 6 1/2. The 6 just barely "almost" fit and the 7 flopped around and was much too long. Why don't they make half sizes in most sandals? Great service from Zappos as usual.

I needed a flip with good arch support because I over-pronate. I ordered 4 different pair and these had, by far, the best support. Unfortunately, the underside of the straps rub my foot but they were so comfy otherwise that I kept them. I'm hoping the straps will soften with wear, or my tender feet will get used to them. I got the Zebra Aqua and the color is great. I wear a 6.5 shoe but can usually wear a 6 sandal and the 6 in these fits well.

These are good and sturdy. Excellent arch support,firm rubber foot bed-yet flexiable enough to allow comfortable walking everyday!

Seemed comfy, but too narrow at the toes for me -- even though I ordered up a full size! I had to return them.

I am thrilled with these sandals. They have great arch support so I can wear them all day, even on long walks. I would recommend these to anyone looking for an all purpose walking sandal, comfy and casual!

This is a terrific flip-flop for anyone who is looking for arch support. Wow! Unfortunately, I had to return because the thong area hurt the top of my foot. I do have this company in "my favorites" and my next purchase will be a sandal with no thong. Zappos Rocks!

Surprisingly comfortable and durable. After my dog chewed one, I replaced the pair as they have become a staple.

At first these flip flops killed my feet. I had to wear Band-Aids every time I wore them. After about two weeks, they became the most comfortable flip flops I own. I was warned about this ahead of time so I was fully prepared to endure the pain for the comfort that would come. I wear a 7.5 and the 8 was perfect.

Great support, but caused blisters at first. Definitely need break-in time. I can tell the difference in the support and quality of these, versus less expensive flip flops. Due to the weight of the shoe, however, they rubbed and caused blisters the first time I wore them. I am still in the process of breaking them in.

I wear these for swim coaching. Great support. I found they got stinky after only 2 months of wear, and the foot bed was a bit irritating at first. Regardless, and due to the support, I am reordering.

The arch support in this is insane. I have not made a habit of wearing footwear to support my high arches, so this was very different and I\'m still getting used to it. The straps may pose a problem though, and I\'ll just have to wait and see. It rubs on the top of my foot, and I may have to buy something to put under the straps to avoid rubbing on my skin. It takes some getting used to I think if you\'re not used to wearing footwear with such thorough support. I think its going to be good for my feet though.

Fantastic arch support. I find these true to size, and not too big as others did in their reviews.

I do like the chaco flip eco tread. I would not otherwise be able to wear a flip flop. I would have liked to have seen a bit more support in the arch. You can tell it is there, but I could have used even more.

Provide excellent arch support, no back issues at all with these flip flops. Very hard to break in though, the part the fits between the toes is wide and uncomfortable in the beginning and the part of the webbing that attaches on each side of the foot rubs the inside of my foot. Went camping and wore these while wet and they blistered my feet terribly, but any other shoe would have been as bad I\'m afraid. I also have a fairly narrow foot and wouldn\'t recommend these to anyone with a medium\/wide foot.

These have great arch support. I had been having problems with the big toe joint in one of my feet, which wearing bad shoes exacerbates, but these Chacos are really helping. The strap, especially where the toe strap joins the wide strap, is pretty rough, however. I have blisters right now on the top of both my feet, and I have only worn these shoes around the house for relatively short periods of time to cook, clean, do laundry, etc. I haven't actually walked much in them at all. I wouldn't plan to wear them for long periods of time until you know if they'll bother you. Also, to the Chacos designers, I thought the flip flops could be a little higher. My toes hang off the front just a touch, though it's definitely the right size. I can imagine my toes potentially scraping the pavement and/or getting really dirty. If you're a half size, I would definitely go up. Overall, I'm really glad I bought them.

We love Chaco Flips and have a few pair. These seemed particularly narrow for some reason. My daughter has had no problem with the flips before this pair...so it may just be one of those things. Love the colors...and the footbed!\r\n

I read the other reviews and ordered a 10 when most of the time i wear a 9 or 9 1/2. I do have a wide foot so i thought a 10 would be good. It is a good fit! Like others have stated. They were a bit snug out of the box, but I wore them around the house with a pair of socks for a day or so. It looked funny but it worked and stopped me from getting blisters, etc. Now I love them! They are cute and not heavy or bulky. the arch is great and I need that! They do not flap against the bottom of my foot like some, which is nice. I would buy again, but hope these will last a long time! Seem well made so I expect them to last more than one season! I'm giving them 4 stars and still love my Birkenstock the best but these are great and can get wet!

Love these Chacos, but I found the straps to be too tight. I don't have a high instep nor do I have fat feet, but the straps on these cut into my feet. I've tried to stretch them, but nothing seems to work. Arch support is great, but I have to wear my other Chacos and look for another flip with arch support.

I have been looking for a replacement for my Teva flips that they no longer make. These are nice flips but still not replacement for the Tevas. These are really tight across the top of my foot, and I\'m hoping they stretch out. They are narrower than I expectd. Not bad, but not my Tevas.
