I was looking for a flip flop that had some arch support and felt more comfortable than your everyday flip flop. Reading the reviews this looked like the one I was looking for. But after wearing them for 2-3 days they just feel like your average $5-$10 flip flop from Old Navy. Nothing special, good sandal but not worth the $40 price tag. I’ll keep em, but still look for something better.

I bought men's because the women's did not come in a wide size. I probably should have gone down a size, the ones I have are too big.

I bought these for my husband. He has very wide feet. We are long time Chaco fans, as they are great arch support and can be worn for hours with comfort. They move from water , to terrain, to dinner, seamlessly. These are a great casual flip, with great arch support, that will last for years. Thanks Zappos for stocking them in wide.

Really sturdy flip-flop and the style is nice... The only gripe is that I find the foot bed to be a bit slippery. Maybe I just need to wear them more.... Like all chacos they might take time to adjust.

It takes a few wearings to break them in, got a small sore spot between toes where the strap goes, also on the top where the strap splits to go to either side. Took maybe 5 wearings to break in. Since I got these predominately to wear in water, it seems the water helped the break in process. These stay on your feet as though they were glued on, while working in the water up at Lees Ferry and down at Pearce Ferry loading and unloading large river boats. Now I know why all the river guides wear Chacos!

Solidly built flip flops, but I expect that from Chaco. These run narrow compared to my Z/1's and on the smaller side.

Bought these in a size wide for a very picky husband. It is a true challenge to find quality flip flops (or any shoe for that matter) in a size wide. My husband likes these but we also bought some Keen flip flops in a regular width and he liked them more. He said the Chacos did not have as much support as the Keen foot bed. We are keeping both pair.

I bought these as a potential sandal to wear while venturing out on a Round-The-World (RTW) trip. I needed something that was fashionable, discreet, comfortable, lightweight, and would hold up over time and against the elements. Chaco's are definitely a great option, but they were definitely too heavy and just so big. I felt like I had platforms on. I did like these much more than the other Chaco's that have the full foot strap. Comfort was okay. I instead went with a pair of Olukai Ohanas, thong style. Very happy about that choice.

A few of my friends have these sandals and swear by them so I thought I'd check them out. While I didn't find them really uncomfortable, I didn't enjoy the way they fit my foot (which is narrow with a huge arch). If you like Chacos, I'm sure you'll like them though.

This one replaced my same sized 1st generation Chaco Flip that was many years old. Sole is a little softer (perhaps due to the use of recycled materials), but the straps are much tighter and hurt my feet. So, beware. Fit has changed a little over the years. No way to adjust them.

The foot bed feels nice and supports well. The texture may take a little getting used to. The straps are a little tight around the middle of your foot, but I have a very low volume foot to begin with, so this worked for me. The strap on the inside, arch side, roles a little. I think that if they straps were a little wider, this wouldn\'t happen. I tried about 6 pairs of flips to arrive at this model. I\'m very picky, and my foot shape doesn\'t fit the norm. These are very comfortable and worth the extra cost for the proper support.

I wear a 12-13 usually so I decided to try the size 13 but it was too narrow and too short. I sent them back and got free overnight shipping on the size 14. They fit perfectly! Highly recommended!

Really liked these, but they were much too narrow for my feet. Went with the Olukai Ohana instead.

I normally wear a 12-Med in flip flops, but in that size the EcoTreads were a little too short and way too narrow on my foot. I returned them for a 12-Wide (I verified the size), and they are almost an inch longer and a little too wide, but still a better fit than the 12-Med pair. Interestingly, the straps fit much looser on the 12-Wide pair than on the 12-Med pair. I believe this is because the "vertical" portion of the straps on the 12-Wide pair are longer than that of the 12-Med pair. Perhaps Chaco thinks that if your feet are wider they must be thicker also. I opinion is that the medium width EcoTreads are for men with narrow feet and the wide width EcoTreads are for men with very wide and thick feet.

This sandal doesn't have the thick, wonderful soles that put Chacos on the map. These are fine for casual use, but are not made for being active.

These Chaco eco-flips just aren't of the same quality as their other sandals. I like the grip on the top of the sole but I don't like that the straps seem to easily stretch/pull out of the footbed a little bit and make the flip into a looser fit. They wont repair these at the factory like they will their normal sandals. Thanks to Zappos for awesome CS.

I really wanted to like these. The sole is fantastic. But the upper is terrible. I walked around the house for an hour in them and the sandpaper that they use between your toes was already hurting. They use a braided nylon which is incredibly abrasive. I can't imagine walking in them for more than a few minutes. If they used a softer material these would be all day 5 stars.

Good arch support but a little on the thin and flimsy side. Runs slightly narrow. Also note that this flip flip isn't flat side-to-side across the forefoot, as with Reef and other brands. Instead there is a little ridge protrusion that runs along the outside edge of the shoe, which you can feel under your feet. Annoying and slightly uncomfortable to my feet. If you have normal-width feed I'd suggest trying both regular and wide sizes to see if either work better.

I was looking for a more ergonomic flip flop, something that might reduce my plantar fasciitis pain, since i wear them so often. These are definitely better quality and more foot-friendly than my usual Haviannas. I don't like the look/style quite as much, but they're growing on me a little bit.

Heavy and ponderous these flips, in fact, flop. I bought them hoping to be able to use them for long walks on a trip this summer, but if the first week of non stop wearing is any indication, I will stick to my Reefs and be much more comfortable and much happier. They are too weighty and I find my feet sweating on the footbed far more than with any other pair of flips I've ever worn.

These were way too small for my husband (we ordered a size 12, and he is usually an 11.5 or 12). I can\'t really comment on the comfort, because we returned them right away. Order at least a size up.

I bought these for my son, and a similar pair by the same manufacturer. We will be returning them both. We found that walking on the nubbed surface hurt our feet. It wasn't soothing, it hurt! They also were painful between the toes after 20 minutes of walking around the house, and I'm used to flip flops; I wear them all the time. We did order a pair of Sanuks for him. Awesome! I'm getting a pair, too.

I love my Chaco flips so I ordered some for my husband. Here is the bummer. They are way narrow. My husband does have a slightly wide foot and unfortunately they don't offer a wide flip. I plan on reordering the next size up to see if that works otherwise he will not get a chance to love Chaco like I do. The other styles that are offered in wide (which are not many) are not an option because they are too strappy and he's just not into sandals. One last try.

Unfortunately it was way to narrow. Not anything like their sandals. Very disappointed and am returning.
