Best shoes, and I have tried a lot. I have a long narrow foot, high arch and stand on my feet for hours every day. Try them. I did get a size smaller.

Now my favorite summer shoe! These sandals go with almost everything and are very comfortable. They are my first soft sole Birkenstocks and the fit, comfort and style are all perfect. The heel strap adds extra security so I can wear them when walking my large, rambunctious dog. I'm very happy with this sandal.

These are Birks. You know what you're getting when you buy a brand that's been around for as long as they have. The quality is impeccable. The comfort unmatchable. These supported me through daily walking of, on average, 6-8 hours through Europe. They still look brand new. I also like the styling of these because they're not quite so clunky and tree-huggy as the other styles. Get them. You'll be glad you did. Or at least your feet will be.

I bought a size down because many reviews said the shoe runs big. I wear size 10 normally, and the 40 (size 9) was about half an inch too small. I re-ordered the 41 (size 10) and it fits perfectly. Took a few days for my feet to get more comfortable in the shoe and for it to mold to my feet, but now that they are broken in these are my new favorite sandals. I wear them around town and while working at a summer camp. I have extremely flat feet, and have tried a number of shoes. Usually high arch support is too painful. These were perfect, I could tell my foot was supported but it wasn't to high of an arch. I'd recommend these to anyone. I like that they have the ankle strap, and are not just flip flops.

Love the Birkenstock collection. Have problems with feet and need a good arch support, I can always rely on Birkenstock to deliver. Use these indoors in wintertime with socks instead of slippers. Ab fab.

I just received these today and have been wearing them around the house. They are very comfortable and provide a great deal of arch support. I normally wear a 7 1/2 medium and sometimes wide depending on the shoe. I listened to the reviews here and ordered them in a smaller size. I would normally have ordered the 38 but got the 37 instead and they fit great. Since I sometimes wear a wide shoe these fit me well across the top area by the toes. If you have a more narrow foot you may want to order the narrow since these do seem to run wide. Overall a great sandal with lots of support and not too much of the clunky birkenstock look. I wish birkenstock would make more feminine looking sandals and definitely more sandals with the back straps but these are definitely nice and I'm glad I ordered them.

These sandals are amazing! So comfortable! Wore them all summer to the beach and on warm vacations. They still look brand new, these will last forever! Great arch support for my flat feet! LOVE!

Really comfortable and cuter than the classic Birkenstock. I do wish it came in more colors. I like this particular style because it has 2 adjustable straps and the shoe stays on my narrow foot better than other styles.

I wanted comfortable sandals that had straps that could be adjusted near the ankle since I get tired of having to grip slip-on sandals with every step. These sandals are absolutely great! I wore them for the first time walking for hours at an antique show. My feet felt fine. I usually have to break in Birkenstocks but I did not have to with these shoes. Since I stand most of the day on concrete flooring (I teach), I know that these will be a very valuable addition to my wardrobe this coming school year. The fit is perfect and the soft footbed is very comfortable.

Very comfortable and more feminine looking than they usually are. Ankle strap keeps them on better. Wonderful sandals!

Love these Birkenstocks. A fantastic shoe for those concerned with both fashion and comfort. I was definitely reluctant to go with the "clunk" of the typical Birkenstock shoe, but these are the perfect combination of cute and practical! I bought them as a sturdy sandal for long walking adventures and for biking, and they have served me well. I loved that the soft footbed gives me all the support, but required almost no break-in period at all. Definitely would recommend for a great staple shoe for your collection. Skirts, jeans, shorts.. it goes with everything, and your arches will thank you. Sizing note: I am a solid size 8, and I got the 38, which fit perfectly, even though I am usually more of a 39.

I wear a 6.5 in running shoes and a 6-6.5 in most shoes. In these? I apparently wear the equivalent of a 4-4.5, which sadly isn't available in this style. The 5-5.5 (which I ordered, knowing Birks run big) was a good inch and a half too long. If I got my foot into the right spots, the supports were really comfy, and the soft footbed seemed to have the delightful comfort of a broken in Birko-flor. I'm bummed these don't come in my size, as the style and comfort were terrific. I did ding the style a little because the ankle strap is really hard to buckle, and since there's no stretch or give to it and it's tighter in style than the Milano, you're likely to have to re-buckle it every time.

Style, color, comfort, look...it's so nice and flattering. Only one thing down park is...it runs Large! I had to return and order it one size down.

These are really comfortable sandals. The arch supports are great, and the padding is a nice bonus. They are meant to be worn a touch large, so really, they are true to size, just not in a way most of us are used to in other shoes. Give yourself time to get used to them, and to break in the leather. It is well worth the effort for comfortable shoes that with a little care can last for many years.

Birks - always wonderful, I try other shoes for walking and always come back to them. Going to Paris in two weeks, can't wait to be walking around...in my Birks of course.

I tried Birkenstock Grenada first and loved the look of them but had to send them back because the top strap was really uncomfortable on my foot. I bought the Bali since the toe area looks the same but it has an ankle strap and I love them. I really love the more delicate/feminine look (for Birks) along the toe line and the strap along the ankle makes these really comfortable for me. I'm a 7.5 and the 38 fits me perfectly.

I haven't worn a pair of Birkenstock sandals in many years but I was looking for something I could wear on a regular basis for an upcoming trip to Hawaii plus those hot days in Arizona and these shoes are super comfy without looking clunky like previous Birkenstocks. I originally ordered my regular size (6) and they were too big so I ordered down to a size 5 and they fit great. Great arch support and cute to boot with casual pants, shorts or jeans. I just might have to order another pair.

These sandals are very comfortable and fasionable. The back strap allows you to tighten or loosen it which makes is a perfect fit.

I have had multiple foot surgeries, and thought I was stuck with ugly orthopedic shoes for life. I bought this sandal and was very impressed with the fit and comfort. I took it to my doctor and he said they were great. I would highly recommend these these sandals.

I love Birks and these seem like they could be great for a lot of people, but not for me, with my high arches and small ankle. The soft footbed really doesn't rise as high in the arch as the traditional hard footbed does; and these ankle straps would have needed 3 extra holes (and an uncomfortable bend in the leather) to snugly hold my petite ankle. Back they go. I wish Birkenstock would make a dark brown ankle-strap sandal with narrow bands like these, not the chunkier straps, that had the traditional hard footbed! All that said, these have a lovely, wide toebox area and are beautiful!

Have worn Birkenstocks for almost 40 years and have always loved them and found them to be very comfortable. I have a high instep/arch. My feet never tire when wearing them. The ankle straps on this particular pair are not consistent and seem loose but from past experience with Birkenstocks I think after wearing awhile they will mold to my ankle. I wear a 6 1/2 and wear 36 in the Birks so didn't have a problem in sizing.

I bought these in black after reading positive reviews and I am not disappointed! I have worn regular Arizonas and Milanos for years and have found that they do take a while to break in. The Balis were really comfortable right out of the box and dressy enough for summer evenings. Finally, a black sandal that I can love. Plus, it was my first order from Zappos and the service was superb.

It took me a few days to get used to wearing these. At first, they felt loose and uncomfortable. But now they are my go-to shoes to wear at Disney World where I have to do a lot of walking.

I really like these sandals. My only issue is that the outside of the show angles up too much above the arch support. The arch support itself is great, there is just extra material that keeps angling up and it irritates the bottom of my foot. I am stretching it out a little each day and already it is better, so I am definitely keeping them. I have slightly wide feet, so I think these are just a smidge too narrow as is.

I liked the look of these sandals, but the ankle straps rubbed my ankle bones on both sides of my foot. Had to return them. Otherwise, these sandals were comfy, with really good support all along the footbed.
