The Wonders Of A Birkenstock - I love, love, love these shoes. I'm not a huge fan of the somewhat mannish look of regular Birks, and these are the perfect alternative. They're feminine, ultra-comfortable, and environmentally sustainable. Plus, the soft footbed makes them even nicer than the regular Birks. I couldn't recommend these more strongly.

Give them just a little time!!!! The Bali sandal is a wonderful way to feed your Birkenstock addiction. They look daintier than the usual Birks and the soft footbed is a marvel...I think that I will only buy the soft footbeds from now on. I had the same initial problem that others reported. I felt like I had rocks under the front buckle and the back strap where it is riveted together. I think that my feet were just sensitive because the shoe touched spots that were usually not touched by other shoes. At any rate after a few days and some bandaid protection, the Bali’s were like all my other Birks...outstandingly comfortable. They are equally at home on a hike or out for dinner. Give them a chance if they hurt a little at first!!

Cute and comfy - Really cute shoe and more feminine than others I have from Birkenstock. Very comfortable and the black goes with everything. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe normally and found the 39 regular to be perfect for me... not too big at all.

LOVE EM! LOVE THEM! They go with everything. I am a teacher so I'm on my feet all day. My legs aren't nearly as tired at the end of the day!

Wonderful shoe - I bought these because they were recommended by my podiatrist because I have plantar fasciitis. The soft footbed made them comfortable, though it did take me a couple days to get used to the feel. I love them. The style is nice enough to wear nearly everywhere. LOVE them!! It's great to be able to wear sandals and not be limping and in pain by the end of the day.

A cute Birk - A Birk that is cute enough for more dressy occasions. Like all my other Birks, these sandals are comfortable enough to wear all day. As for delivery, I absolutely could not believe that I placed my order in the morning and the next day there was a pair of shoes at my door.

Fabulous sandals! I never really liked Birkenstocks, but I ordered these for more support, and I am thrilled to pieces with them! They are the most comfortable sandals I've worn in years and they were wonderful straight out of the box. No break in time at all. I'm amazed at the incredible comfort: I'd order more colors! And they're cute: they are much more feminine than most "Birks." Great! I highly recommend them!!! They are soft, smooth and truly wonderful! I usually wear a medium or B width and the narrow fits perfectly. I was told that "Birks" narrow is a normal "medium/B" and that was true for me.

Birkenstock Bali - This is my second pair of Birkenstock Bali Soft Footbed sandals. I absolutely LOVE them! With the soft footbed, it doesn't take long to break them in. Being a teacher, I am constantly on my feet, and these are the only sandals I can stand in all day - with no foot pain. I have had many other teachers comment on them and ask where I found them. My favorite thing about these sandals is that they look still look professional with dresses, skirts, and dress pants while being comfortable. Zappos service was unbelievable! Free shipping and I received them in two days - this is the best service I have ever received! By the way, my local Birkenstock store did not carry this style, so I was delighted that Zappos did! I will be your customer forever if you continue this kind of customer service!

Style, comfort and support in one tough sandal - After I had tried several pairs of sandals who boasted, “excellent arch support” I have finally found these lovely Birkenstock, Bali sandals. My search was O-V-E-R! These are extremely supportive and comfortable sandals. I have problems with overpronating and plantar fasciitis in my left foot. It was critical for me to find good supportive sandals. Ones that were pretty were a bonus. There was only one minor problem that I had with them. There is a grommet, which holds the ankle strap to the body of the sandal just on the inside of my ankle. The joining of the leather at this location created a “sharp area” that dug into the side of my foot. To correct the problem I simply took a pumice stone and smoothed the inside leather so it eliminated the sharp spots. I have since worn these sandals without stop for several days. I’m sold on Birkenstock sandals and naturally, Zappos! Great company to shop with.

Ahhhhh... comfort! They may not be high fashion but my feet have not felt this good in a long time!

Great shoe! My search for shoes that would feel as great as they looked resulted in my purchase of the Birkenstock Bali. While they were on the expensive side (I'm used to thrift shopping), they were worth the price! I knew I wanted Birkenstocks, and these had everything that I needed - they look girly, they don't go between my toes, and they have a back strap so that my toes are not clenching the shoe on my foot all day! I also discovered that a narrow size worked best for women. They are perfect for me, and I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase!

A great Birkenstock for narrow feet - This is a good-looking, well-fitting sandal. I wear 8.5 narrow and the 39 medium is perfect.

I tried this as a summer sandal for the coming season, but it just wasn't comfortable with the ankle strap. I really like the soft footbed version of their shoes, but just didn't like the ankle strap. The sandal just doesn't seem flexible enough for an ankle strap. When I tried walking in it I just felt like I couldn't bend my foot. It is super cute though. Looks great on. If you can get by the ankle strap feel it would probably look great with skirts or jeans and khakis.
