Sperry top-sider's sStriper slip on - These are the best fun shoes for comfort, I spilled beach on one shoe while doing my wash, so I decided to get another pair for casual wear.--and now I have a comfortable pair for doing my laundry.

The Best Leisure Shoe - This is my third pair and I love them for their retro look, comfort and build quality. My wife and friends call them old man shoes, but now that I am forty, they are age appropriate. LOL.

Awesome shoe - This shoe fits excellently. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5, but this shoe fits best as an 8.5, so adjust as you feel necessary. I love this shoe. I would recommend it to anybody.

Good shoe, ran a little big for my feet, next time will order one half size smaller. Definitely recommend brand.

These are what I "settled for"; I wanted tan/khaki canvas boat shoes to slip on for casual wear. These are terry cloth, not canvas, and about the first time I spill tomato sauce or red wine on them, they'll be headed for the laundry. They are well made, and fit. I would not recommend them for long walks; regular walking shoes or sneakers are much better.

I have a lot of experience with the Vans slip on, and several off brands of the same style. I always wear size 9. The size 9 Sperry is too small and hurt my feet, but that's probably due to the great insole (traditional slips are notorious for having no cushioning). If I get size 9.5 I'm sure I'll be happy. The only downside is the eyelet design. When I walk, it pushes air out the eyelets and makes a loud whooshing sound. I hope the 9.5s will allow air to escape the top and not whoosh! It makes them unwearable.

The shoe fits pretty well to size, maybe a tad larger. Offers fairly good support and cushion for the feet. It looks good worn without socks and I have had no issues with the heels or back rubbing my skin raw. With regard to some of the other reviews that talk about the sounds that the shoe makes when you walk, that is true. The two ventilation holes on the inside of the shoe create a whistling sound as air pushes through. I just put a piece of clear scotch tape on the inside of the shoe covering up the holes and that solved the problem.

I love the style, great summer shoe. I'm really surprised that 70% said the shoe feels a half size large. I had the opposite experience. I ordered my normal size (11) but returned them for the 11 1/2. I've also never had to order anything other than Medium width but these feel a little tight. I'm keeping them though because the style is exactly what I wanted and I'm sure they will loosen up a little with use.

Alright, let me get the bad out of the way, because it's the sole reason I am writing this. To keep it simple, this shoes need serious wearing in. Perhaps it's the shape of my feet (but has never happened with any other shoe) but these guys have torn up the backs of my ankles in a big way. Very painful. My normal response would be to wear them with socks to wear them in, but these things just aren't meant to be work with socks (or pants, for that matter) as it ruins the sockless boat shoe style. All of that said, I am still trying because they do look good. On that note, these are super stylish and probably the best looking less-is-more slip-ons you can buy (for those not looking to do Vans). They simply look great in nice weather. So, summed up, these babies take work. So far it has been one week wearing them off and on with minimal reduction in the back-of-ankle rubbing/pain. However, this great look has been worth it thus far, ha. I'll write a follow-up review once I break these ponies.

Shoes look great! However, you should get some insoles because these shoes will make your feet sweat (if you don't wear socks).

Sperry Top-Sider Striper Slip On is a classic, simple, yet comfortable shoe. I've been wearing them for the past year. Amongst the simple and and artistic design, the heel of the shoe becomes worn rather quickly. I admit I do a lot of walking but the heel integrity should last more than four months.

Sperry Top-Sider - TIKI Black & Tan... This is a nice looking shoe but it was hard on my left foot...first I got an 8.5 and it rubbed on the back heel and caused a small blister on my left outer toe, then switched to 9.0 but still stiff and hard on my feet. The shoe LOOKS nice but some of you will have to wear socks. Tough to slide your foot into this shoe...just a heads up.

These are exactly as depicted in the picture. I thought they would be a little more casual with more of a roughed up outside. I think this will happen through normal wear. Love the plaid lining inside (but no one really sees that). The first couple of times I have worn these air has built up with each step and when I step down it is making embarrassing noises. Ha ha, this may be my personal issue though!

Oddly shiny. There is something a little strange about a leather-topped espadrille or slip-on sneaker, with white rubber soles. But they're comfortable, and they make you think you're a beatnik, or something from San Francisco in the early 60s. Cool.

Unlike the lace-up shoe, this and all other styles in the Striper series come only in M width. Either the shoe is actually shorter than the lace-up or the lack of laces allows the foot to slip forward in the toe box. Either way, comfort is sacrificed if you have a narrow foot, (but only if you walk in them).

Fits small. Burnishing present on toes only, making the whole product questionable. Made in China on the label says it all. I sent mine back.

I didn't purchase this product from Zappos, but figured I'd write a review to share my opinion of this terrible shoe. I had started sailing and wanted a boat shoe, to prevent me from falling all over what is often a wet deck. And I'd have to say that as a boat shoe, its terrible. The water grooves on the bottom didn't do anything for me; I still slipped on the boat. They completely absorb water and never dried. I had wet uncomfortable feet the entire day. As a shoe, these are also terrible. I've never owned a pair of shoes that have been this uncomfortable to wear. I was hoping that maybe they'd just take awhile to break in, but I've been trying to wear these for like a month and they are no more comfortable. I don't think I have weird shaped feet and they are the correct size. I don't understand why they are so uncomfortable. I have to take them off while at my desk at work to give my feet a break from them.

Worst shoe I've ever purchased. Never broke in and the inside stitching on one shoe would rub the skin on my heel raw. Maybe I just got a bad pair.

Like everything else in America, these were made overseas. Sperry has a huge drop in quality. They squeak, very stiff, won't beak in. Wore top-siders for years; no more.

We have never experienced customer service from any other purchases made on-line like we received from Zappos and we are grateful. Loved the emails and the prompt service. Thank you, Zappos.

This five star review is for Zappos Customer Service and not for the shoes which unfortunately had a small manufacturing fault. I contacted Zappos and asked if I could return them even though I had worn them for a few days because it looked as if the sole was starting to come unglued from the canvas upper. They immediately replied that they were refunding my money and didn't want me to be inconvenienced in any way and there was no need for me to return the shoes. Now this is the way to delight a customer! I will certainly come back to Zappos for my next purchase.
