I bought my pair (Sperry) about 10 yrs ago, and living in Texas, I wear these shoes (around 6 months) as of October. I am astounded that not even the sole has eroded from wear. I have fabric on the sides, and it has not faded or gotten dirty! I wear these because they are super comfortable (I wear thin socks, and they are not tight).

I have had these for 10 years now and they get more comfy over time, they have held up very well too! I am a true size 7.5 but found the toes a bit narrow so had to size up to an 8. They are a little long but the 7.5 was just too tight and my feet aren't overly wide. Overall they are extremely comfortable and durable. Definitely recommend these.

I have difficulty buying boat shoes, since I have a wide foot. The Wide width AO's fit perfectly.

We like these shoes so much, that we are ordering two more pairs for the other girls in our house!!

Great shoe but know that these run narrow. Not narrow foot in general but needed a wide in these.

I wear these sperrys everyday for every occasion. I'm currently on my second pair, and planning on ordering a third. They fit narrow but once I started wearing them they streched To fit perfectly. Living in Minnesota they have withstood every season with ease, although they have a few water stains from the snow. The only reason I have to repurchase them is because I have high arches and The support lasts about a year.... at least for a person who wears them 24/7.

Can't go wrong with this classic! Took a day of wearing around in wool socks to break these in, but once they are broken in, they are so comfortable and last forever. I've had my last pair for about 10 years now before replacing.

These sperrys are so great, I wear them everywhere even in bad weather they keep their quality. One thing is they stretch a little bit when you wear them for a while but other than that its great :) The shoes are comfy and casual. Good to dress up or down.

I have had these babies for at least 5 years and they are still going strong. I wear them for everything: kayaking, beach days, boat trips, running errands, going to class. Man, I have played a game of pickup soccer in these shoes and I am still impressed with their performance just walking through puddles. Clearly they are unbelievably durable if they can withstand my life. If these shoes ever go out on me, I will probably mourn them for a bit and then buy the same exact pair, same exact color. These Sperry's are not a want, they are a need.

I'm normally an 8.5 or a 9. I decided to order an 8.5 because I figured they would stretch if they're too tight. When I received my purchase, they seemed way too big. (My foot would come out entirely when I walked.) I returned them, and I ordered an 8. I didn't think the 8.5's were that much bigger, but the 8's were still too big. I'm currently waiting to get 7.5's in the mail. Regardless of the size, I really love these shoes! I can't wait until I find the perfect fit. I can already tell I'm going to wear these the majority of the fall.

I got my pair of docksiders in 1981... and they are still in perfect condition! I love them!

I have had many pairs of sperrys, but these ran a size small and pretty narrow. However, when I finally got the right size, they were cute and super versatile. 10/10 would recommend.

I don't know why Sperry doesn't advertise how to break boat shoes in properly. The trick is to submerge your feet in water the first time you wear them (make sure the shoe is completely soaked). Wear them for the rest of the day and they will mold perfectly to your feet going forward! I only had slight discomfort on the first day and now they are the most comfortable shoes I own. The 20 people on the waterfront at my yacht club are required to wear leather boat shoes and we are instructed to break them in using this method. In addition, the sizing runs narrow but the wide fit me perfectly and doesn't look bulky like some other brands that offer a wide shoe. I am normally an 8.5 but went down to 8 because the shoe does stretch a bit (it does not shrink!) so if you're on the fence then size down. Make sure you google different ways to tie the laces there are some neat tutorials available. Fan for life!

I love tHe style and the material, but you really need to break them in or else theyre really a pain on the back of your heel!

I love the shoe right out of the box. You can wear with or without socks and these are especially soft. Blue goes great with jeans.

I ordered this shoe so it would serve as a more dressy option For my outfits. It is perfect! They also are very comfortable on my feet.

Bought these to replace a well loved and well worn pair lost in a move. I expected some break in time, but nope. This new pair felt perfect as soon as i slipped them on. I still miss my "soaked in many oceans" old pair, but already loving this new pair too.

This shoe is a classic and I love wearing them with jeans and can't wait to wear them sailing this summer. Very comfortable, easy to slip on and I appreciate the style!

This shoe feels great and looks great. I really love sperrys and this certain one caught my eye. I got it and i enjoy it very much!

These are the most comfortabLe sperrys i have ever bought (cream colored with brown laces) .... Almost like slippers. ThIs leather is simply softer than other leathers. I teach school, and i am on feet all day. I love these shoes so much i am wearing them in the middle of winter with socks.
