Awesome shoes! I love these shoes! I have 2 pair and will be buying another pair soon. I have been rocking Vans for 25 yrs and will never get tired of 'em. These mids are my favorites, though. Could use a bit more arch support but, that’s nothing that an insole can’t fix. All in all a great shoe

Good looking...a little big for marked size - In the past I’ve bought vans that felt a half size smaller than marked but these were big...the shoes are by far the most awesome looking shoe to exist...I got the black pewter.

Great Shoe - I wanted these shoes because I currently have the AV Sk8 Lows, which I love, but have no ankle protection at all. So I decided to get these and was surprised when I got them in. These shoes are not constructed in the same way, but I think they are better. The toe box in these are much bigger than the Sk8 lows and that is good for me as the Lows pinched my pinky toes. It’s completely eliminated in these shoes. I had heel slip in the Lows, but in these its gone. The weight is comparable to the lows. Overall this is a great skate shoe and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a skate shoe with a little more ankle support and protection.

Granddaughter's Shoes - I bought these shoes for a granddaughter to use when standing and the need to be steady. They seem to be comfortable and well made.

9/22 - The first day I wore the shoes, I noticed how uncomfortably tight they were around the top of the foot and how hard they were to get in. For some reason, the vans makers though they needed to sew an over-sized pieces of elastic from the tongue to the sides. After cutting the pieces off, my love for the shoe exceeded a tremendous amount but the heel still rubbed. They're great once you break them in. and excellent for skating as well.

Cute, comfy, and goes with everything. I really really love me some skate mids! I always get compliments from strangers. And they're chunky! =)

Awesome Shoe - I bought this shoe for my daughter; they have to have an all black shoe as part of their dress uniform. I bought it a week or so before school started, I used their regular ground shipping which was 4-5 business days. I was so surprised when I received an email later that day that my order had been upgraded. I was more surprised when the shoes were delivered the very next day. Best skate/chill shoes ever - I recently bought this beautiful shoe in Navy, it is absolutely the best shoe ever. I skate and I chill with these shoes and the comfortness of the mids are bomb. They cuff around the ankle so they feel like they won't fall off your feet, which is also really comfortable. Living in Cali, you gotta have these hella cool shoes. I go everywhere with these shoes now, whether its partying, skating, chillin’, and going to hardcore shows, these bomb ass shoes will stay on my feet for as long as possible. The only problem is that it's pretty difficult to put these shoes on so either loosen up the top laces or use a shoe horn. Other than that, go buy a pair. I may buy another pair in red. And another opinion, just stick with the original simple colors that makes it look so special.

Vans SK8 mid - Wore these 20yrs ago and the company still makes them true to size. Amazing. Never a lot of support with the Classic Vans models, but they do what they are supposed to.

Vans are the jam - These are some rad kicks. I love mine soooo much. Thinking about getting a second pair...

Awesome shoes - I have gotten soo many compliments on my blue Sk8-mid Vans! They are extremely comfortable and very stylish. Great for skating, as well. Mine are just as clean as they were when I bought them a month and a half ago. I would recommend wearing a band-aid on the heel the first two days you get them, though. As soon as you get used to wearing the shoe, it's extremely comfy.

Nice shoes! I really like the Vans SK8-Mid, the only complaint is that the insoles are thin. Otherwise a great skate shoe.

Awesome!!! These shoes are the best skate shoes I have ever had. I have had my Sk8-Mids for about a month and they’ve only smudged. The canvas from around the ankle ripped from my heelflips, but that’s only cuz its canvas. For my toe area, the rubber around it wore away and the upper suede on my toe area smudged also. Ggggrrrreeeeaaaatttt skate shoe!!!

Green is mean - I have been wearing Vans since I was 12 and I just made 40. I got these in the green and love them! Vans Rock! Even my grandma wears them!

How all Vans should be. Last year I bought a pair of Half-Cabs. I had a pair around 2000 and they were awesome. The pair I bought last year suffered from being made at the end of the shift in the sweat shop. They were horrible and I couldn't believe Vans would have settled for such poor quality on such a classic shoe in their lineup. So I stuck with the old school lo-top and high tops they were making because they were still decent shoes (though overpriced at this point in time). Then I saw this Mid-Skate shoe and it looked good online so I ordered it and it is awesome. It's everything the Half-Cabs I bought last year should have been. Fits well, attention to detail. I would question whether the Cabs I had bought were bootlegs except I had ordered them from Vans. The Cab pro they have now looks better made but the color choices are lame, so I would just suggest getting the Mid-Skate instead. Hopefully it will be around for awhile and the quality will remain good.

Good shoes - Best shoes in the world break in period 1 minute very well if u skate they were down a little fast though that’s the only problem but overall great shoe. I got the green ones.
