These are top quality and worth the extra money, particularly if you're purchasing for a serious BMXer or skater.

These looked silly right out of the box, but now that the shine is off the white laces & the stitching I like them a lot. Now I'd say they're a little too safe, stylistically. But they are comfy and durable and inexpensive. Big soles, plenty thick for scraping up on a skateboard.

I've been an Old Skool man for years, but decided to switch it up and get these instead. The tongue is padded, which is good for comfort. The look sick, and have the Vans soles that I love. When I buy Vans I usually just go for the era core classic, but wanted to try these out. They have a lot more stability to them than classic vans, and the tongue padding is nice. I wore these for a whole week abroad where I walked many miles each day. They kept my feet feeling pretty good. My heels got pretty sore though! For a shoe that is more skateable it would be nice if they changed the inserts to have more padding. All around a great shoe!

I purchased these for my 12 year old son. Normally, Vans would be too narrow for him, but this style is a bit wider & higher therefore giving him the room his wide-ish, high-ish foot needs. He says they're comfy & great for skating.

I really like the shoes so far. I preferred them over other vans shoes because of the midsole wasn't a bright white, which I think better compliments/matches the khaki levi's 511 commuters I normally wear. I bought a 10 1/2. I normally wear a 10 or 10 1/2 wide in other shoes, so these were a bit narrow for my left foot. That said, they've broken in pretty well and are pretty comfortable. I'm not blaming the shoe on that, since it's not a wide size; just figure people with wide feat might want to know. Arch support isn't great, but I have Superfeet inserts that I use in all my shoes anyway. The orange tag is a nice little highlight and can be a nice little pop if you have any socks with a similar orange in them. All in all, they look great and I'm pretty satisfied.

My son loves these shoes! We went to the mall after he got them, people actually stopped us and asked where he got the shoes! One teenage boy told my son, "your mom got good fashion style!" Would buy these again! They are also very comfortable too!

This is a good quality, comfortable shoe that holds up well. We have now ordered this shoe twice in a row because my son likes them so much.

Great shoe! fits TRUE to size. I wear a size 15 and they fit great. I was worried they would look like clown shoes on me but they don't. A lot lighter than the DC shoes I had. These are not running shoes, I use them for simple wearing and occasional skateboarding. For their purpose they are comfortable but I would not buy these to run in or anything like that.

Super easy and fun funky running around shoe, comfy for my wide foot, 1/2 small so went up that amount. also ordered the checkerboard ones and love them both!

Great shoe. The only cons I that that right shoe es a little bit straight, maybe the problemas es muy foot. Product quality es great, good looking, look awesome with jeans, shorts, with por without socks. The interior lining is very comfortable, great cushioning en the collar.

My son got these and they are really nice looking. Seems pretty well made. His feet run a bit narrow and these these are about medium in width. Not sure about arch support as we always put store bought arch support in shoes anyhow but think there is little if any as it is a skate shoe.

These shoes are absolutely awesome. I purchased them as a gift for my boyfriend and had them shipped to his house (he desperately needed shoes) and they arrived within two days. He loves them. He has said on several occasions how comfortable and versatile they are.

These shoes are very comfortable! There is a bit more padding around the shoe than I expected, which makes them more comfortable. They are great for casual longboarding and dressing up in.

I have had multiple corrective surgeries and now have to wear special insoles, which means I need to find an everyday pair of shoes that have a removable insole. This corrects any issues these shoes have in regards to arch support, and that's the only negative factor for me. In every other regard, these shoes are top-notch! I'm replacing a pair of Vans that were so comfortable, I wore them literally everywhere for nearly 4 years, even during heavy construction and cleaning work. I can attest to the point many have made here that these are long-lasting shoes that stand up to abuse and daily wear. They're also comfortable, and this is coming from someone who's had multiple bone breaks and fractures across every metatarsal. I wore these out for a long walk the first and second day and noticed it didn't take long to break them in. Last but not least, I ordered the black/black and I have to hand it to Vans, these shoes look good with everything: jeans, slacks, shorts, maybe not a dress, but come on, look at these shoes. Classy not flashy. 100% everything I was looking for at a fantastic price. Thank you, Zappos!

I've been wearing Vans for years and I love them! Comfortable, durable and damn cool. I have several but the latest pair of Chukka Low's I got take the cake. Best Vans I have to date! My go to footwear for sure.

My go to shoe for everything. Gone through about seven pairs, mostly in this colorway. Skating, work, hardcore music gigs and concerts, and just about everything else. All around solid pair of shoes. I get about six months heavy abuse per pair.

Love these shoes. I've been buying the same style for years. I go through a pair every 6 months. They are super comfortable with my irregularly shaped feet. No inner arch support, but if you want something where you feel what's beneath your feet, these are great.

I bought these for my son. He loves them. Great color. They are suede so we needed to protect them as we live in the cold north. Wonderful shoes at a great price.

This shoe is a timeless classic. How can you not love it? I am a repeat buyer and my only complaint is that they do not offer much support so I slip in an orthotic for arch support.

I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas this year because he asked for "stomping shoes." To me, this means something I can stand to look at that is relatively easy for him to slip on. He loves them! I actually ended up buying a similar pair for my dad afterwards and he feels really cool in them and my mom says he looks hip. He has Fred Flintstone feet so I'm happy they fit him well.

Great shoes! This is approximately the 8th pair I have purchased for my son. He is very hard on shoes, bikes...skating etc. and these hold up quite well him. Will certainly purchase them again.
