My son wears these shoes everyday to school rain or shine and loves them. His wide foot makes it hard to find shoes, but these fit perfectly.

Vans skater - These shoes last a long time and look sick!!!

I'm a long time Vans fan. I wore them back in the 80's after Fast Times came out, and have had many pairs since. The Chukka Lows are cool addition to the Vans line. I had Chukka Boots back in 1990, and was glad to see the style come back, so when the lows came out too, I jumped at the chance try them out. The shoes are comfortable, and feel like a modern skate shoe without looking so clunky, like DC's of DS's do. It's nicely padded around the angle, but not overly so. The tongue is also padded, but not too much. My only complaint is that the tongue could be a little longer, it barely reaches the top lace. If you like fat skate shoe tongues, these aren't it. Still a good shoe, mine have held up well, I will probably get another pair when they are done. Where van's exceeds is in simple style. Almost every major shoe brand copies Vans' styles, but they don't come close.

Took time to initially get used to it. The shoe lasted 9 months before holes developed in the sides. In addition, it felt like I was walking on concrete. Love the styling and the sole (good grip) but the rest just didn't work out well.

I have been wearing Vans since I was seven years old. I am a 38 year old man now and have to say these modules are super comfortable and just as functional as ever. The leather tongue adds a nice touch and the laces are a perfect length. Not too long. Tie these kicks to your liking and then slip them on time and time again without having to re-tie.

I get 8.5s in Eras, Authentics, and Zapatos, but a 9 in these and they feel perfect. Comfortable and the grey/gum Pfanner colorway is SICK.

These shoes are really cool. There is no break in time so they felt great out of the box. My only beef is that there is no arch support, so if that's what you're looking for, go with another model or brand.

Perfect for the boy teen and one of the roomier styles of Vans if your kid has a wider foot. Lots of padding on the tongue too -- very comfortable.

Great shoes! more puffy than other Vans that I've had. Nice support, and great for skating.

I love these shoes. I also have them in black. Zappos is, in my opinion, the best place to buy shoes. And I am starting to look more into there clothing as well. They are a great group of people that have made me confident that if I do not get the right size or the product is not what I expected that they will always accommodate me and my needs. I love them. Exactly what I was looking for! Very comfy, true to size and easy to put with an outfit. I got the Chukkas because of the cushioned tongue. It helps prevent walking on the back of my pants cuff (I wear a lot of relaxed fit jeans) while still maintaining the classic Vans look and comfort. This is far from my last pair. Gotta keep a pair of fresh whites! While I'm thinking about it, it is just about time to get a new pair! Happy shopping folks!

I bought the black/white (suede/engineered canvas) about half a month ago and I love them. They look great and they're more comfortable and durable than the Authentics and Eras. So far very pleased with this shoe, excellent job Vans I will be buying this style again!

Got these to wear around as a non-work shoe. Super comfortable, look great, and don't feel like they're ginormous on my feet.

These shoes are rad, they look sick and they're comfortable as hell. Not that durable for skating if you skate on the daily. I tore a hole in mine in about 2 weeks. Totally gonna get another pair and not skate them.

I love these shoes, they go with everything, it has a real 'skater' feel, they are very comfortable. I get lots of compliments on these and they run great. Of course I got to give props to Zappos.com, no question the best online shoe store. They were shipped fairly fast and with no problems. The app is great by the way.
