Yea! I love it. it fits as I had hoped. The hood is much tidier than most. It seems amazingly water proof. As someone previously wrote the zipper is a hassle, 6 tries to get it to work. Nice light weight for travel. Next time I hope they use the same color on the neck lining so it can be worn open and not look so casual.

This rain jacket is great. It's lightweight, complementary to shape and weatherproof. I traveled with it to Asia and it survives being compressed in the suitcase well - few wrinkles when I took it out. In terms of fit, I'm 5'2" 110lbs. The XS fits fine with room for a thick sweater. I also got the S to compare sizes, the S was too big.

Really wanted to like this jacket, but the small was excessively large and had absolutely no style to it. It's on its way back now.

Much thinner coat than I was expecting. In my personal opinion, not a good value for the money.

Best raincoat I have ever owned. Took on a trip to Panama and I stayed dry when caught multiple times in pouring rain. Truly waterproof. Dries quickly, light weight and nicely styled. I hope the black one goes on sale so I can have one of each.

This raincoat has a lovely tailored fit. I especially like the mid-thigh length. The details make it truly special. This is the kind of coat that makes you wish for a rainy day so you can wear it!

We just found our we are moving to Seattle in a couple of weeks so I ordered this jacket! We love camping and the outdoors so I wanted a really well made jacket that also looked good on and could be dressed up if need be, regardless of price, and this is definitely it. I am 5'2" and it is not too long like I feared it would be (longer jackets usually look like a robe on me and make me look even shorter.) This is super flattering. Some people scared me with the flare issue but that is what makes it flattering and different from other longer rain jackets, in my opinion. I personally do not like the trench style with a belt. This jacket is perfect. In Mountain Hardware and Marmot I wear a small, but in Patagonia (this jacket included) I wear an extra small. It fits perfectly. I have room for a sweater or I can just wear a thin shirt. My only complains are: The sleeves do seem a teeny bit long, and the zipper is one of those two-way zippers that can also zip upwards for venting (which I would never do) so I wish it was just a regular zipper because the double is hard to do in a hurry, it takes an extra bit of effort and concentration to line them up perfectly and get it zipped up. MINOR things. Other than that the Seaport color is a beautiful peacock color. I absolutely LOVE it and I'm glad I like it this much because I know I will be wearing it a lot! :)
I'd also recommend:
I also have the Marmot PreCip and love it too.

I love this raincoat. I initially bought it to run in the rain but am finding now that I wear it all the time. The cut is a very feminine and flattering A-line and the teal blue color is gorgeous! It's very light like a windbreaker but can be layered when it's really cold out.

Wonderful raincoat! I bought the medium size in the sesame color. It is a great coat, perfect length with shorter skirts and, as other reviewers have said, it "bells out" at the hem to nicely accommodate skirts and dresses. Great with pants, too. This wider shape at the bottom is also part of what makes it flattering. The sleeves are on the long side, but there is a series of snaps on the cuff to allow you to adjust them a bit. It may be helpful to know that the hang tag on the coat says that it is "regular fit." Some Patagonia is sized "slim" but that is not the case with this one. I ordered up and the large was too big. In any case, you can't go wrong since Zappos is so quick to deliver another size to try! I hope to have this for a long time; it is versatile and flattering.

There are very limited options for stylish rainwear that actually works. This coat is awesome and works extremely well! Its pricey, but it's classy enough to never go out of style.

I love this raincoat. It is a flattering style and really is rain resistant. It is made of a very light material which is extremely easy to pack and takes little space or weight. This coat is a must for travelers.

Definitely for Talls... I'm 5'11", long and athletic. I'm always stuck between a medium and a large because coats often are not cut proportionally for a tall. However, in this coat, a medium was perfect! The sleeves are long, the waist is long, and the length is long and flares out like a dress. I have only tried it on, so cannot give how it performs in the rain, but I would think that bottom flare would keep the rain rolling out and away from your pant legs. It is so thin and lightweight, and "thinning", adds no extra thickness to your shape. It is nice as a tall person to put something on that does not transform you into a "big" and tall because the fit is wrong for your long and narrow size. And yet, even though it is so lean and trim, there is room to put a sweater or jacket on underneath. The hood seems to fit fine over a long neck and big curly hair. The "Northern Light" color is rich and deep blue teal, but just a little dark for a summer coat color, so I'm going with the shorter cranberry ultra-trim great-fitting All-Time Shell. Also, seems to be the ideal travel coat when vacationing. Layering it to add a little warmth to cool mornings or evenings, and so lightweight, wow!

This is the perfect rain coat for travel because it packs so easily. Love the 3/4 length that keeps it looking stylish, even in the city, on a rainy day. It's not warm so on a cold day it's important to wear a heavy sweater or fleece underneath. As always, a great shopping experience with the best - Zappos!

Great coat - I am enjoying my new coat very much...even though we haven't had enough rain to give it a really good trial. It is not loose fitting so if you are between sizes, order up in size. The only other feature I would like would be an extra interior pocket for phone or iPod.

Amazing rain coat! It’s incredible it's like the rain just rolls right off it! I live in NYC and needed a raincoat that will keep me dry when I push a strolled (hard to hold an umbrella with a stroller). This was/is perfect!

Excellent! This is a great jacket. I wanted something that was well-made, provided longer coverage, and would never go out of style. This is it. I like that I can wear it to the office without looking like I am going camping. It's functional and also has some style. I also wore it mountain hiking in Italy and the longer length didn't get in my way. I would generally prefer a shorter jacket for mountain hikes - but since I only wanted to pack one raincoat on my trip, this was the perfect compromise. I also like the adjustable hood and the well-placed side pockets. I am very pleased with it!!!

Nice Lightweight Trench Coat - If you just want something to throw on when it's raining, this is it. As lightweight as it is, you could wear it year round. It’s cut well too – very flattering.

Patagonia Trench Coat - I absolutely love this coat! I purchased it for an upcoming Alaskan trip, but find I wear almost every day. It's a great length. When I ordered the coat, I assumed it was more of a dark gray, however, to my delight, it's a wonderful deep dark green.

Love this Coat - This is a great rain coat. It looks classy but is totally functional. Tailored at the waist so it actually is quite flattering. Fits true to size. Highly recommend!!!

I love this trench coat. The color, the lightness in weight. The feminine shape. I also think the small brim on the hood is a wonderful feature. My only negative is that the sleeves are long on my small frame and difficult to alter and rolling them a bit is my solution. That takes away from a nicer look without rolling them, but I am willing to do so because this is the only raincoat I have been able to find that I really, really like. Plus, this is a quality brand.

Preparing for a 2 month trip to Europe this fall; rain gear an important consideration. This longer length Rain Shadow trench fits the bill for light weight packability and style. Coverage is good, but sizing may be problematic. Patagonia products are cut on the small side so I would suggest potential buyers to go up a size. Zappos delivery and customer service was brilliant as usual, particularly when quickly crediting my account after this item went on sale days after my purchase.

Performance for a price - I went back and forth about paying this much for this, but the bottom line is there are so few women's rain jackets out there that have any sense style and also perform that I finally pulled the trigger. I am glad I did. The jacket when fully zipped with the hood up offers excellent protection against rain and stays put in the wind. The wrists adjust with snaps for a nice close fit. I have long arms and the arm length is great. If I could change anything, I would have added an interior drawstring as the fit in the body is not as close as I would like--it's a little shapeless. The fabric is truly amazing--totally waterproof, extremely lightweight and breathable and cool. I wish I didn't have to pay this much for this jacket, but you do get performance and at least a nod to style.

Nice - Well made, nice cut. The only downside is the fabric is super thin and crunchy sounding when you move around.

Patagonia Rain Jacket - This is a really cute jacket, interesting style. But it runs BIG. I am thin but average height (5'5") and the XS was too big. I am returning it.
