Very comfortable. Bought for a beach wedding and they were comfortable. I wear them on the weekends now and love them.

Footbed size was perfect, but straps are too close together making it unusually narrow for a flip flop and unwearable for a wide-footed gentleman! Not at all like the Reef flip flops he's worn before.

The little ridge helps my foot grip the sandal and not slide around in the footbed.

If you have a wider foot, this flip-flop is cut narrow. I had to wear them for a few days to get the strap to conform better. The finish on the top and bottom is a bit slippery, so be aware when walking on polished/wet surfaces until the soles get scuffed a bit. Overall, the quality appears very good and it's a great value for the price.

The sandals are well made and look great but they have a big sizing problem. I am usually a size 10½ US, so I went with the 11 since a lot of reviews were saying that they ran small. They do fit me, but it is very tight width wise to the point where I really have to work to put them on, and the front part is a lot longer than it needs to be but I rather it be long than short to the point where I can hurt my toes. I probably would not purchase these again because I honestly would not know what size to get so hopefully these last me a long time and I get used to the comfortness.

The fabric piece in between toes breaks wears out quickly. I love the sandals but had to replace same pair i bought at reef store in Maui in September.

Very, very good arch support for such a light weight thong. Nice for the money. I do find, however, that the raised Reef logo is uncomfortable under my heels. It should be flat or placed elsewhere on the shoe.

Bought these to replace a "cheap" pair of airwalk thongs I picked up somewhere. These are much better quality. Didn't need the bottle opener and honestly I wouldn't want it to touch anything I might put near my mouth. These thongs seem a bit more narrow than most. I have a very narrow size 16 foot and these are borderline tight compared to most. They don't fall off though. Overall very satisfied with them.

They were a little narrower than I would have liked and the top side is very rough on your feet. I will say however they seem very well made and after they are broken in I think they will be fine.

Ordered these for my son. Reefs are super comfy... Padded insoles. The only issue with these is that they have an embossing on the insole that irritates the bottom of his feet.

I'm women's 8W and searching for rugged, longer-lasting outsole. Worn men's 7 Reef Phantom for 2 years, but need to replace every year because worn out. Perfect length/size and generous width. Returning because sent men's 9 instead of 7 and trying out Playa Negra this year.

This was my first pair of Reefs. The phantoms are very comfortable. I'm accustomed to cheap flip flops so it was a huge step up for me. Some have complained that they are sized a little small. I disagree. I think they are about right. I wear a 10.5 shoe. I went with the size 10 and I like them. I think if I had went with the 11 I would have regretted it. One thing that comes up in some of the other reviews is that the strap is a little snug. I do agree with that, but maybe that will change as they break in. It's not so bad that I'm going to return them. I don't think I have chunky feet, but if you do then it may be something you consider.

I really like Reef brand flip-flops and the material and straps are comfortable and they look great. The problem that I have with these is that they are VERY narrow. I'm sure they will loosen up over the course of wearing them but they are uncomfortable in the meantime...

These do what you want a flip-flop to do. They are comfortable, stylish, and water friendly. They seem to be made well and are not slippery.

These flip flops are not ones that you can slip in and out of easily, but the benefit is that once they are on, they stay on. I've always had problems slipping out of flip flops, so these are great. Really comfortable, too.

I am an avid Reef owner. I have over 10 pair of Reef sandals in multiple styles... Fanning, Dram, Slap II, Smoothy, Vision, etc. Until recently, all my Reefs have been size 11 and fit great. I bought the Vision recently, and had to return them because the 11 was too small. The 12 was perfect. I just purchased this Phantom sandal in 12, and I can barely get my foot inside it. The strap is SO tight. I don't have super wide feet, but there is no way that I could break these in and have them work. Also, the texture on the bottom of the sandal is VERY slippery. I tried them on on a tile floor and was sliding all over the place. On the positive side, if your foot can fit in them, and you don't slide away, the sole feels very comfortable. I will be returning them, and buying a different style that I know will fit.

Another quality product as usual from REEF. My previous pair, same model, lasted approximately 6 years! This has come down in price since then which is a good thing. Love these.

I'm a female with wide width. This men's Reef fits my foot, comfy, minimalist and not too masculine that I can get away with. Wear pretty much daily spring-fall so need to replace yearly - heel compressed, thin, uncomfortable.

I like basic flip-flops and that is what I got. They have a comfortable, snug fit. They are a tad bit smaller than the size 14 I wear but they still fit.

Really nice quality but narrow (for me) and my toes didn't fit all the way to the end. Never had that problem before so had to return them.

Bought my first pair of Reefs (Slap IIs) 2 1/2 years ago to use as shower shoes.(They're still going strong.) When I looked at them this time, they had gone up in price, so I bought the Phantoms instead. If I had never worn the Slap IIs, these would be great. Unfortunately, they suffer in comparison. Turns out, my grandmother was right: you get what you pay for.

These sandals are a pretty good value. Although, the feel a bit smaller than my other Reefs that are the same size. They also feel tight at first, but loosen up after wearing them a while.
