Finally a pair of cowboy boots that fit my wide feet! I tried and sent back three pairs of boots that were all supposedly wide width, although I could not even get them all the way on. These, in a 9W, fit great. I wear a 9W in sneakers also. They fit snugly as I am told cowboy boots should. They are a leather bottom and leather-like upper. But the upper looks pretty close to leather and has some stitching that has a "cowgirl" flair without being over the top. I absolutely love them!

Really cute boot at a decent price. I bought it and wore it the first day it arrived... didn't have any issues and found it quite comfortable. My foot measures a 7.5 and I bought 7.5. It might be a little tight, but if so just barely. A little narrow, but that is typical of a boot this shape. I would certainly recommend this boot to others--it got lots of compliments.

Finally a cowboy boot I can wear and not have blisters the next day. I love being able to get this in wide. They are very comfortable.

This is my second pair of Laredo boots. My black ones are 2 years old and I wear them almost every day of the cold months. The new brown ones are breaking in very fast (I was worried when I first put them on) and are just as comfortable as the black ones. The little heel is perfect, comfortable but also makes me feel a little dressed up. They are also very warm and cozy on a cold day. Hint: I wear tight around the ankle athletic socks. It gives the right padding and doesn't let the shoe pull the sock down to the foot while you are walking.

They are extremely comfortable, look absolutely terrific and are everything I was looking for in this style of boot. The heel slips just slightly but I have a AAAA heel so everything with an enclosed heel slips! Can't wait for the next rodeo. Zappos was great about me "trying & returning" until I found just the right boot. The customer service rocks!

These have been great casual/work boots - ordered a 8.5 and it was perfect fit! Easy to put on and take off with a little "wiggle" room for heavier winter socks. I first ordered the Durango boot however returned them because of the "fit", but with Zappos that was no problem! And I had an exchange within 2 days! Thank you Zappos for your great customer service and offering a great selection of products at great prices.

I love, love, love this boot. I was looking for a boot that I could wear with dresses and this boot is perfect. I have a high arch and my feet tend to run on the wider side. It has plenty of room if you wanted to wear thick socks. The opening at the top is bigger than most, so it does not rub at all. The bottom of the boot is lighter than the top of the boot, I plan to buy shoe polish as the other reviewers described and darken them a bit, also toward of any scratches and scuffs. This boot is a real winner.

I really love these! I am getting them for Christmas and am so excited!

Laredo is a less expensive version of boot by Don Post. Good looking for the money, but the quality of materials is not the same.

These are cute boots! I saw similar ones in this brand at a trendy teen store online. I bought them at Zappos because of no tax, free shipping and immediate delivery. The price was lower, too. I purchased them at Christmas for my two teenage daughters to share as they wear the same size. It worked for one daughter, but not the other because of where the arch hit. The daughter who said they fit well enough needed them for a musical production. They were not snug enough to dance in, so we bought an insert at our local Western store. She said this made the too-wide heel fit fine. I also ordered two North Face jackets at the same time. These were included in the box and are perfect. Thank you, Zappos!

It took me 3 times to get the size right, and that was reading all of the helpful reviews. What a pleasure to deal with Zappos. I have bought shoes from other on-line companies and paid shipping both ways when I had to return a pair. Not with Zappos! Love that! The boots were has shown, get compliments eveytime I wear them. I find them very comfortable. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8, but needed a 9 in these boots. Can\'t go wrong with Zappos!

Fantastic boot - I love these boots. They took no time to break in, and they are comfortable. The inside isn't very cushioned, they may benefit from an insole. But the stitching is beautiful and they look great with skirts or jeans. The shaft isn't too narrow, and they are easy to pull on and off. The leather is a bit lighter at the bottom in comparison to the shaft, but with a little brown polish, they match. Overall, I am delighted with my boots. This is my first pair of cowboy boots but not my last!

Awesome boots - Love my new boots. The fit is great and they are very comfortable. The best thing is that I ordered them late at night and they were on my doorstep around noon the very next day. Wonderful!!!

LOVE these boots! I've been looking for a moderately priced cowboy boot that would fit my wide, high-arched feet and this is it! When I first put them on, it was a little difficult to get my foot in, but having had good boots in the past, I knew that wouldn't last. After wearing them one time, they began forming to my feet and are sooo comfortable now. I wanted these boots to be my winter boots, so I applied two coats of SnowSeal® to the lower shoe portion. Not only did that waterproof them, it also darkens them several shades, which was exactly what I wanted. Now the boot and the shaft are closer in color. I have worn these boots all day and at times with thicker socks, they are always very comfortable. The shaft is also a comfortable height and not tight on my calf. I also wore them with a skirt and received many compliments. Like I said, I LOVE these boots. Thank you Zappos, for once again making usually hard to fit feet look trendy and still be comfortable!

Bought these as a gift for my 13 year old daughter and she loves them! She is one of those who wears both size 7 and 7.5 depending on the shoe so I went with the recommendation of an earlier review and ordered the smaller size. They were pretty tight on her at first, but a few wearings around the house and they stretched right out to a comfortable fit. A good looking cowboy boot for the right price!

Really nice boots - I'm a teacher who is on her feet most of the day. These boots are reasonably comfortable. I wore them once, and did change into sneakers at lunchtime because my tootsies were getting tired, but they may just need more breaking in. The heel is very wide, and I found my heel rubbed a bit. They look fantastic.

Narrow heeled people beware Laredo 5742 - Shoe has a very wide heel so mine slips. I had to return, unfortunately. Also, I normally wear a 7 1/2 but I had read from other reviews that this ran big so I ordered a 7 and my foot still sloshes in it from the arch back. Very strange fit. Too bad, cause it looks good!

I got these for my granddaughter. These boots look wonderful, but they are very stiff in the foot and uncomfortable. Unfortunately we have to return them.

I received my boots this week and they are exactly as seen in pic. This is my 2nd pair of boots, 1st pair black, and really dressy. Wanted a pair to wear with blue jeans and this fit the bill!! great service, great product. I will never shop at a "shoe store" again!! Thank you!!

These were great looking until I inspected them further. The front panel of the shaft is leather while the back panel is plastic!!! Cheap. Those plastic edges will fray fast making the boots look cheap! Looks nice if you don’t look closely. Disappointed big time. Comfortable though!

Everything was perfect. Returned them only because I found my 20 year old boots in the back of a closet.

I bought these boots for my 14 year old granddaughter and she is happy with them and can’t wait to wear them riding. They look good and feel well made.

I think these will work for going out and, later, wearing them on my horse.
