Super cute shoe but it seems that it is long in the toe box for its size, so unfortunately I'll have to find another shoe.

These shoes are comfortable, however, not as comfortable as the regular Teva's. I wore them for 4 days in Disney World without a problem.

This is a great shoe right out of the box, no rubbing, poking, anything. The overall footbed is pretty supportive (good for pounding on sidewalks) but there's VERY LITTLE ARCH SUPPORT. Still, it's a cute shoe for being a sports sandal and I need flat, supportive shoes for my bad back (ballet flats are useless and athletic shoes don't match summer dresses). The teal is very bright, almost fluorescent. Would love to have it in more colors, like black or brown. I would definitely buy two more pairs in those colors!

Sending back. 6.5 is 1/2 size too large for me. 6.5 is what I normally what I wear unless a shoe only comes in full sizes and then a 6 fits. Arch on right shoe bothered my foot within minutes. I tried to move my foot up to pretend if I wore a 6, if it would bother me too and am not sure. Otherwise, comfortable.

I ordered the Hurricane XLT, the Terra Fi Lite and the Kayenta to compare, all size 6.5. I have a narrow foot so I wanted to see which fit best. The Hurricanes are definitely wider and thicker, plus some of the colors (like the green I ordered) have a white sole which is not practical at all. The Terra Fi's are slimmer, have less of a border showing around the foot and the straps are much more cushioned. The Kayentas (purple) are cute and much more stylish with the thinner straps, but, like other reviewers noted, the straps across the toes aren't adjustable and they are a little gappy with my narrow foot. Plus, the back strap is plastic and cheapens the look and probably would affect how well they will hold up. I'm keeping the Terra Fi's because the profile is slimmer, the straps are more cushioned, they fit my narrow foot better and they are super comfortable.

I bought these because they seemed that they would fit the bill of being cute and feminine but also comfortable. Unfortunately, I wore them to work all day and my arches hurt after wearing them all day. My arches have never hurt before wearing these sandals. There is very little arch support and the bottoms are not built up as in most other Teva styles. I will continue to wear them but only if I won't be walking much. But overall, they are cute and I get compliments on how they look. They just don't work from a practical stand point.

Cute and colorful, but I'm returning. Was hoping the straps would be a bit stretchy or have a more snug fit. With the thin, flat sole and little arch support my feet seems to flop around.

I have purchase these sandals from Zappos and have to say: the service is amazing - they arrived next day - how you do it Zappos is beyond my comprehension. This is my third pair of Tevas, obviously, I am a fan. I own a pair of Tirra sandals and wanted something more dainty and dressy - the Kayenta fits the bill. The purple colour is beautiful. I use the sandals to walk my dog and run with him - it is nice not to have to worry about stepping into a creek - these sandals will not fall apart and will dry quickly and they stay on my feet and offer a little bit of arch support (though it is much less than the Tirra does). The only thing that I liked about the Tirra that the Kayenta don't have is the adjustability. All the straps on the Tirra can be adjusted - a bonus for someone whose feet are wide-ish or for someone whose feet tend to swell in the heat of summer. The Kayenta fit fine throughout, but I can imagine that after a long flight or in sweltering heat when my feet puff up slightly, the forefoot will be too tight. Nevertheless, I think they are pretty, feminine and comfortable enough to keep. I would recommend these sandals.

Just returned from a week of wearing these through much of Costa Rica, which was the purpose of buying these. Great on our rafting trip, great at the beach, comfy in town for hours of walking. The dirt and sand will have to be washed off to return these to their original bright orange, though! My only difficulty with these is that I have narrow, bony dancer/runner feet and the straps across the top of the foot don't adjust. Even the adjustable ankle vel-cro strap was barely able to tighten enough for me. Visually it doesn't look like I'm wearing sandals that are too big, but I can feel my feet move around some. If you know you need super snug support and have narrow feet like mine, be sure you have time to try before you commit. That said, I did in fact just come back from serious outdoor adventure wearing these and I was comfortable, but I am also tolerant. I definitely recommend these overall as a stylish alternative to big chunky outdoors sandals!

I bought this for a trip to Guatemala where I wanted one shoe that could crawl on a pyramid and go out to dinner. I looked at many styles and brands and this seems sturdy and functional but also more delicate and feminine than the average performance sandal. We leave in a week, stay tuned for my post-trip review. My one complaint is that the "Harvest Pumpkin" Color is really neon pink in the center. I ended up using a red sharpie to shade it in which made it a more uniform and palatable color in my opinion. I hope it doesn't bleed onto my feet!

This shoe has an amazing fit. It doesn't slip on my feet, but the straps are loose enough that I know my feet can swell and they won't be too tight. The sole is well cushioned, but there is no arch support, so I wouldn't wear them if I were walking far. I love the style and the red color (actually orange and fuchsia) is great.

Bought these for a European Tour this summer and started wearing them last month. Quite comfortable from the very 1st day. No break-in period needed. Highly recommend as a comfort sandal that compliments shorts and capris. And, as usual, Zappos is the best!

I have worn these sandals every day since they arrived. I\'m afraid the velcro strap might wear out. They are very light and comfortable.

Nice pair of sandals. They have a solid sole that feels like it would be good for walking on. The strap design on top is very pretty, but not the most comfortable, and the velcro straps are on the thin side which cause them to rub in the wrong way. This shoe is too strappy for me, but may work for others who can wear the straps loose. This sandal may not be the best design for the slim or slightly narrow foot.

I have received a lot of compliments on this sandal. I wanted a nicer sporty sandal that wasn\'t too bulky and could be worn with skirts. The straps are thin and dug in a bit, but that has gotten better the more I\'ve worn them. I can see it being a bigger problem if my feet were any wider. I have not gotten any blisters from the sandal. Overall, this is a very versatile sandal that can be dressed up or dressed down. It is a nice change from the original Teva!

Not quite as stylish as I might have hoped, but okay for the city. Comfortable, though as with most sandals I have enough room to slide four fingers between the front straps and my feet! However, I love the arch support and walked around all day in them with no problems. The walnut color is neutral enough for me to wear with most clothes.

I love these sandals, they're a bit more fashionable than the typical Teva style, very comfortable and practical. The only piece I'm worried about is that the rubber on the "inside" of the shoe next to my feet is very soft, which is great for comfort, but I hope it holds up to the scuffing that inevitably happens along the front of the shoe.

Just received my pair in the black\/gray. Comfortable, and about as dainty a look as you\'ll get in a Teva. I\'m keeping them, with some reservation - the heel\/ankle straps are secure, but on my foot the straps across the front don\'t touch my foot when standing. The sandals don\'t seem to flop when I walk, so I\'m hoping this turns out to be a good thing. I have slim feet and the front of my foot is (apparently) very flat. If these don\'t work out for me my daughter can probably wear them, as her feet are a completely different shape.

These just arrived - and I am still making up my mind about them. They are very lightweight, which is great for hot weather, and I like that they could handle getting a bit wet because of the materials. Also like they are versatile for travel - good for walking around, camping, etc., but cute enough to wear with a skirt, too. I can feel the straps, which are hard cloth as shown. I don’t think they will bother me, though. I can see how someone with a wide foot would find these uncomfortable (straps digging in, foot hanging over edge), because they are relatively narrow (will work for my average foot, but might work on a narrow foot, too). Love the green colour, but ordered chocolate chip because it looked really versatile because of the black accents on brown - should go with most things (except pink). I typically wear a size 9 in closed shoes, and an 8-8.5 in sandals. The 8.5 seems right for me - enough room without straps digging in, but not too long either (hate when sandals a tons longer than the foot at the front or back). I expect the 8 might be snug (although the length would likely be ok).

These shoes are great! I bought them to wear during a weekend trip to Disneyland. These shoes easily stood up to 16-hour days of walking and standing in line. I walked all over the park in them and rarely had a problem (other than my feet getting tired, of course!). I will definitely wear these often, particularly when I am planning to walk around on nice sunny days. One thing I would change is they could have a little more support and cushion. Otherwise, they are great!

This is a nice looking sandal. I feel like they make my feet look cute. The foot bed is soft and comfortable. The only negative is that the straps are a bit tight in the instep area. I haven't gotten any blisters, but it definitely leaves a mark.

I love my Teva Kayenta sandals. They go with just about everything. The only thing that wasn\'t so good is the straps across the toes are a little scratchy - I\'m either wearing them in a little or wearing my toes in, because it\'s not uncomfortable now.

It is hard to find sandals that are appropriate, well made and pleasing for the tweenager with wide feet. These shoes fit the bill.

I do recommend this shoe. I usually wear a 6.5 in sandals, and it was too long (all Teva's seem to run huge to me, this one not as much), so I exchanged for a 6. Initially the shoes felt really tight across the top of my foot (leaving red marks). I kept them, hoping they would stretch out (and yay, they did!) because otherwise - they were the perfect walking shoes for summer: 1. Not hideously ugly, which I almost expect in a really comfy walking shoe (actually cute in a sporty way, I wish they were a solid color b/c I think they'd look dressier). 2. Supports foot w/ ankle strap (arch support is ok). 3. Can walk for miles in them - flexible but supportive footbed (can even run to catch the train when I have to). 4. Can wear in wet weather w/out my foot sliding all over the place. 5. Open sandal design.

After reading many of the reviews I was worried about what size to get, since I tend to sway a half size depending on the brand. However, I did go with the larger size this time and it works fine for me. My only caution would be that I wouldn't necessarily recommend these for someone with flat feet. I have flat feet and I've noticed that since the toe box (can you call it that on sandals?) isn't adjustable, my feet move around a little bit. It was uncomfortable at first, but I've gotten used to it. Otherwise, they're comfortable, and I've gotten several compliments. I wear them on my daily walking commute to and from work (approximately 3 miles) and they've been just fine.
