The velcro strap that goes across the top isn't long enough to reach the other strip of velcro that will hold it. The strap seems like overkill anyway.

Unfortunately, these shoes did no work for me. I wanted something to take a long walk in that was cool, yet supportive. I just got blisters. I\'ll have to find another use for them, perhaps at the beach, or wear socks which will look a little dorky, but what the heck, I am a dork.

These sandals are rubbish if you plan on doing actual walking in them. I got them for a planned trip in which I knew I would be walking a lot. After careful consideration (I really wanted sandals due to the clothing I would be wearing) I chose Tevas because of all the positive recommendations. They fit true to size but the heel slipped on me. I figured they'd be okay since they have a velcro strap across the heel that you can tighten. After half a day of walking I placed bandages over both heels to protect the blisters. At days end I took them off...this was after roughly ten miles walking, mind you...and my toes were bleeding. They weren't tight at all but my toes rubbed against the rubber inside or something and...well it was ugly. Thank goodness I had brought regular walking shoes with me. I hadn't wanted to bring two pair (to save space and because the walking shoes don't look "nice" but I would not have been able to continue the trip had I not). I feel I wasted my money.

The information on the order page said these sandals OPEN, however, they have tabs, but DO NOT OPEN and I cannot put them on at all due to surgeries that fused my left foot making it impossible to bend my foot. Makes me sad because I loved the look of these sandals.
I'd also recommend:
a brand with shoes that OPEN....maybe Keen

Very hard to get on and not enough padding on back strap. Felt a blister coming on. Very cute, but bac they go.

This shoe seemed comfortable when I was trying in on at home but when I put it to the real test in Mexico it turned out that elastic at the back cut into my heel so hard that it made a bloody blister in no time. That adjustment strap is just for show, the construction of the back is too stiff to loosen it up with the strap. I am very disappointed and now I can't return those shoes, of course. Do not buy them!

These shoes are versatile. I wear them with thin low cut socks on winter days. I can walk for miles in them. They also work without socks, but the footbed feels a little moist. Very few people wear sandals in San Francisco even in the summer. These are great with casual pants and skirts in warmer weather here. The accommodate my wide feet.

Went to Costa Rica. Wore in jungle and at beach. Great. Wear on the street in San Francisco. Better with socks because feels sweaty without

These Tevas fit really well and are very comfortable. They fit true to size, too.

Love my Teva Omnium Water Sandals. True to size recommended for me (sz. 8 I'm usually a 7.5 or 8 to allow a bit of room for water socks). Fit right out of the box with no break-in time needed. Did I mention they're super lightweight and comfortable? Love these water shoes.

I bought these after trying other brands that were not comfortable. I like that I can adjust the backs as well as the top. And they dry quickly! Now I wear them not only when I travel but even walking the dogs!

I am required to have my retriever on a leash when I run with her at the beach. She loves going in the water for a swim so the water sandals allow me to run in and out of the water with her. When we are finished with our run, I just rinse off all of the sand and dry the sandals out. I love them!

The combination of cool comfort from a sandal and the support and closed toe projection of a walking shoe.
Solution for 90 degree days with 90% humidity.

Since having surgery on my right foot it has been so difficult finding a shoe that is at all comfortable. Thumbs up on this sandal. Absolutely a winner, love the look, but so thankful for the comfort. Thanks so much.

Fit well, good support, a bit expensive, provides good stability; a little heavier than I expected but all in all satisfied. My feet are a little wide but this sandal has excellent "toe" room

I use the OMNIUM Water Sandal for many uses... daily wear, in my ceramic studio because of the closed toe & great arch support & good pitch. Wear them for water sports & just walking in the water as well. Love the adjustability (velcro adjustments at heel and across top), color combination is decent and sizing is good for me tho I understand that some have a different take on sizing).

I wear these shoes to work in the summer because they are cool on my feet. I drive a school bus for a local school. I can't wear sandals so these are the next best thing. If they get wet no problem.

Last year I purchased another style cuz I couldn't find these. But I was happy to return this year and find that they are in stock again. So I purchased them and of course love them. I wear out each pair that I buy (over a few years each) and keep coming back. Don't ever get rid of these.

The fit is right and there is a lot of toe room. Unlike Keene, these have a stretchy "tongue" opening that allowed my (fused-bone) foot to enter and a Velcro strap that kept it in place. These are comfy.

I'm a retired nurse, and being on my feet all day I learned to appreciate exceptional shoes. Along the way I developed diabetes & neuropathy. I've looked at & tried on several types of shoes. The diabetic neuropathy has been a game changer. The TEVA Omnium (women's) water shoes. I call them the best, most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Size is perfect. Color is great. The comfort level is off the charts. I plan to wear them every where! THANKS TEVA

Teva Omnium Women's sandals are great for urban hiking and for hanging out at home. They cushion feet when walking on concrete. In warm weather they allow air to circulate. My feet stay dry on rainy days. A bonus is that these Tevas are light weight and flexible. They are a fantastic choice for spring through autumn.

I live in my Omniums for commuting, for chilling, just walking...ANYTHING -as long as outdoors allows. BUT! I will NEVER understand why there are no other colors but gray for women.... More colors please. I want to buy another pair or two but not in the same color I already have. Please? Thank you!
