I bought my first pair of Teva Omnimums July 14, 2009. I purchased these specifically for a trip to Jamaica. I was looking for amphibious shoes I could wear while on vacation. My Tevas started falling apart almost as soon as I got home. The heel on my right shoe came loose. Not that big of a deal. It made a 'flip-flop' like sound when I walked. Nothing I couldn't live with.Last night after work I walked to my car with no problem. Drove 25 minutes home, then nearly tripped and fell when I got out of my car. The sole on my right shoe had come nearly off.I've had these shoes 17 months. They are out of warranty. I'm so disappointed. I love these shoes. Truth be told I own 9 pairs of Teva Omniums. This really sucks.I called Teva today. [...]

Wore these just a few weeks each summer for 2 years. Wore them while wading in shallow water. Thought that was what they were designed for. Sadly disappointed. They are junk. Don't buy these!

This is my third pair where the sole has come unglued from the foundation. The first two pair I have used Gorilla glue to reattach the sole. This pair I will not waste my time, or glue. In the trash and I'll be looking for a new brand. Need better quality control for adhesion.

The shoe looks good and feels good, but after wearing these only a dozen times, the sole fell off. Disappointing considering how expensive they were.

I liked this product.Nice fit many adjustments etc.Wore approx. 50 times when the "Spider Rubber" sole detached from the main body of the left shoe. Used rubber cement to repair. Shortly thereafter the right shoe followed suit. Repairs didn't last.Read other reviewers detailing same problem. Obvious defect. For what we payed, replacement should be offered!!!

Haven't even taken them for a proper trail, worn maybe 4 times for short periods while taking the dog to the beach, and already bits are coming unstuck...would not recommend...my old Dozers are holding the fort much better after 2 years including a trek through India, not a good replacement.

Not enough arch support, and the sole fell off after 1 year and 9 months of casual wear--I wore them once a week. They are out of warranty and they cost too much in the first place, so I really cannot afford to have them fixed. Will not buy another pair.

Poor sole design and craftsmanship. Sole seperated on both shoes. Shoes were very gently used and taken care of. I would not recommend this product. A lot of money for junk!

Unfortunately these shoes wear out abnormally quickly. I have been a die hard TEV fan since they began and have had a number of their products in my doorway and on my feet continuously for years. I bought the Omnium water shoe for light river touring and trekking and found that after the FIRST exposure to fresh water in Japan they completely delaminated along the perimeter of both shoes. Multiple attempts to fix the item (both through TEVA customer service and individual efforts) failed and I gave up on the shoe. It has turned me off from the brand. TEVA used to be bulletproof and inexpensive. Now they are low quality and cost an arm and a leg. Shame really.

Have had these for almost a year. They were VERY comfortable, wide and I was able to wear them all day long (not like keen's. they are also great, but there's something with the material of the insole that gives me blisters after a long use). Have used them very few times, 5 to 6, mostly on my boating trips. On the last trip I noticed that soles started peeling off. On the 3rd day of the trip both the insoles ended up in my backpack and I continued wearing sandals without soles.

I bought these for Galapagos where I heard there are wet landings, walking on rocks, etc. I wore them around the house for a few hours and they seemed comfortable. However, after walking extensively in them for a day, the shoe began really rubbing right below the left ankle, to the point of being really raw. Did not bring mole skin as I have never needed it but could have really used it. Didn't try returning them since I did walk outside with them and gave them to my guide. My recommendation is to walk around your place for several days before deciding to keep them. I also didn't like how the design kept the sand trapped in the shoe. Was very happy to put my hiking shoes back on!

Happy with the comfort.Advertised as a water resistant shoe. Used sandal five times in one fishing season in water and that was the end of their one year guarantee. Unfortunately, the second fishing season, after the first month fishing in saltwater wearing these[$] sandals, the sole on the right foot separated. Customer service told me to use Barge cement to repair it myself and offered no replacement at all despite shopping forum comments that Teva knows about the problem and offers to replace the shoe. They did not.Since this is the fourth complaint I've had with the NON water resistance of Teva products, advertised as such, I am done purchasing Tevas.

Didn't work for me as the heel is too high in the back and rubs. I also found this a very difficult shoe to get on and off, which made my slightly arthritic hands unhappy. Cute shoe, however, with a nice wide toe box.

Just got a pair. They are way too narrow for my feet. I am a 13 wide. When I ordered them I was assured they would fit. No way. The strap across the arch is too short and there is not enough material left to secure the shoe. Also the buckle is hard to latch as it is on the outside of the shoe where it's hard to manipulate with both hands. I'm sending them back. I've had this problem before with TEVA but thought I'd give it another chance. No go. I'm done.

I thought I was buying the best. I use them on my sailboat and going ashore, exploring and walking beaches. I tripped over some large rocks when the sole separated from the sandal. I would not buy Teva again. I'm still wearing much older West Marine sandals.

I have had two pairs. Sadly, I wrote an excellent review of the product on [@] about them before the soles peeled off. It happened on both pairs. I will never buy another pair of Tevas for as long as I live unless they fix the issue and send me a free pair. I have wasted my money twice. [...]I loved how they didnt smell when wet and how they dried quickly. Nice grip on the bottom and they felt awesome when I was on my feet all day long. When the shoe comes apart on you after a few days/weeks, something isnt right though. How did it make it passed TEVA's own product testing?

First started wearing them and all was fine. Then I noticed the sole was peeling off from the back. It appears the glue is not strong enough. I have purchased 3 pairs of water shoes and these from you people. Water shoes are great and still holding up. These I thought would be great and have failed within a year and were only worn as casual sandals never in water or rough terrain. won't be ordering from you people again. PS I see a similar review from another of your customers.

I was looking for Crocs, but when I saw these, they seemed more practical. My family goes to the river and I was looking for a shoe that was fine for getting wet when launching the boat. Once I got these wet, I couldn't drive the truck while wearing the shoes due to the terrible smell. They are very comfortable, as long as I don't wear them around water. I am very disappointed.
