In the pictures and video, this shoe looks like it could be totally cute sandal for walking on a rocky beach, but when it arrived the front of it looked really wide - like duck feet. I have a narrow foot, so I can imagine someone with a wide foot liking this shoe. I ended up getting the Keen La Paz thong, and am much happier with the style and comfort level for my upcoming vacation.

The toe box on these was so wide, they fit less like a sneaker than I thought. They seem like quality shoes, just not what I was looking for so I returned them.

This is a well made shoe, and seemed to fit my son's feet pretty well. However, after wearing it for a few days, I noticed that he started to get a blister near his ankle- near where the velcro met the fabric. So I sadly had to return them. I don't know why it happened, so you may have a different experience. Otherwise, they are very lightweight and VERY cute (I got the army color).

I have a wonderful love/hate relationship with these shoes. I love them. I love them so much I own them in every color. My foot is small enough that I can fit in the 'big kid' shoes and I have those in every color as well. I probably have about a dozen pairs of Teva Omniums. I wear these year round and they are hands down the most comfortable shoes I own. I originally bought these for a trip to Jamaica. I was looking for a good amphibious shoe. These seemed to fit the bill. I wore them while climbing Dunn's River Falls. The first problem was immediately evident. Sand and small rocks get in them. Ouch. Not good. To be fair this would be a problem with any brand/style of sandals with this design. The second problem came up after I got out of the falls and I noticed my shoes were coming apart. Just a little at the back on the sides near the heel. It wasn't that big of a deal so I wasn't too concerned. Fast forward a year. I got out of my car one night and nearly fell on my face. One of the soles on my shoe had nearly peeled off. Grrr. They were fine when I got in the car. I looked into this on other websites (Teva/Amazon, etc.) only to find this is a huge and common problem with these shoes. Lots of reviews stating this was a problem. And to make matters worse, Teva doesn't seem to care. For shoes that sell for this price, I find this totally unacceptable. I've since repaired my shoes with some SureHold Multi-purpose SureFlex Adhesive I bought at a local Walgreens. So far so good. They're holding up. If your looking for a good, comfortable shoe these are great. Just don't wear them in water. Water seems to loosen up the glue Teva uses. None of my other Tevas have had the sole peeling issue knocks wood, but I also haven't used any of them as 'water shoes'.

The shoe fits to size. I tried on the shoe and sat with it on for awhile. It's rubbery insole made me sweat and since I live in AZ, that's not a good thing.

I bought this while I have been to USA 9 months ago. Then I like it more when I came home Egypt. It is light, and perfect for hot weather.
But after a while of normal usage one of the sole glue off and sandal still in very good shape.
Can anyone suggest a good brand of glue to fix it?

Loved these shoes when I got them, however, the back of my ankle was rubbed raw when worn at length. Disappointed they didn't work out.

I have not had it for long so I dont really know how tough it is.
Though it is great for rafting I find it uncomfortable for kayaking as it has its buckle on the outside. This means that when you are sitting in your kayak your ankle is pressing down on it making it fairly uncomfortable. Next time the buckle could be in the inside.

I bought a pair and fell in love with them. After six months my dog ate them so I bought another pair. I was on a hike in Sundance and the soul started to come off both of them. I am really disappointed because I only had them a year. If you dont do much hiking or watersports, or anything that is going to push them to the limits, then they are great. However I would treat them gently. They are very comfortable and have great traction, but they don't last long under heavy use, and when used in water those dang rocks get stuck in the toe.

I had to return my Teva Omniums as the entire outer sole was delaminating from the sandal after only several uses. I could have tried to glue them back on but Teva was very understanding as apparently there was a problem with the glue on these earlier models. Teva replaced the originals with no charge incurred. Hopefully the new glue on this model will hold for conditions when the sandal is worn in the water for a lengtyy expedition.

I loved this shoe. But after about 2 years, the heel came off in the water. Not what I'd expect from a water shoe. I did not wear the shoe exceptionally hard, either. Just for water shoes.

Really wanted these sandals to work. Tried a 7.5 (my normal size) & an 8. They're very comfortable but they rubbed my heel in just the wrong spot. Long term would produce blisters so I had to return both pairs. They are snug fitting around the top of the heel so FYI.

They are nice looking, comfortable but take a couple of days to dry and are slippery when wet, need soles to be redesigned.

This is going to sound weird...but look at the picutre of the shoe and how the vent holes on the outsides are shaped and go all the way to the sole of the sandal. Believe it or not, it's possible for your pinkie toe to get caught in a weird way and be pulled and rubbed so painfully with each step that you have to take the shoes off right away. That's what happened to me anyway.
I always wanted a pair of Tevas, so when I saw them on sale at a local sports store I hurriedly tried on two different models of Teva, one on each foot (my boyfriend was being impatient). The Dozer went on my left foot and the Omnium on my right. I decided the Omnium was more cushy and sneakerlike, so I bought that one. I took them on vacation and put them on for the first time in my hotel room. I walked down the hall to breakfast and by the time I got there, I knew I had to go back and take them off, it was that painful. Maybe I am a bit of a baby, but if the balls of your feet are a little wide and/or you have bunions or calluses...beware and make sure you try these on WELL before you buy them.

I loved my Teva sandals for 2 years, then the souls came unglued and fell off. That doesn't bother me after 2 years of consistent use. I want to replace them, but now I read reviews of MANY others having the same problem in MUCH LESS TIME. I'm scared to invest the money into Teva again.

If you wear socks with them, they're fine. Nice wide toebox, but not too comfortable elsewhere. The stitching is irritating to my skin and the ankle is too tight. Not too much arch support and no room for inserts. These aren't shoes you can just slip on, you need to always buckle and unbuckle them to get them on and off. These shoes are really cute, and I was planning on using them for local summer hikes, including dips in the streams along the way, but having to wear socks with them negates that use.Too expensive to be this uncomfortable. What happened to you Tevas? 10 years ago, you put out the best product!

Great for being around or in water, but they are much wider in the front than they look and tend to make your feet look like paddles!

I was really looking forward to getting these shoes, as I have wide feet and high arches and the Tevas usually accommodate these problems. I was disappointed in these, however, as they were too tight across the top of my foot and the back rubbed on my ankles. I have tried wearing them a little bit each day to see if I could get used to them, but it's not working so unfortunately I will be returning them. Thanks Zappos for taking back the many shoes I've had to return. You are the greatest!

These shoes are definitely good ones. No break-in required, cushy insoles. The biggest con is that I wear socks and the rubbery additional coverage material pulls my socks tight on my toes. By the time I get my foot all the way in, my sock is uncomfortably tight. It could stand a little higher arch support as well. Aside from those two things, they are really nice shoes.

I have four pair of Omniums. The Heel/Sole plate has started peeling off on three of them. I tried several Teva recommended fixes but they only lasted days. I returned them for exchange and was pleasantly surprised to receive new replacements. I don't know if this is just a unique problem to the Omniums but I wish they would fix it. I love the feel of these things.

I've had the sandals for one week and already the stitching is coming apart by the toe. I've only wore these around the house and yard. I'm going on a rafting trip next week and I'm hoping they don't fall apart.

The Omnium is great at clearing water quickly, but it takes on pebbles and sand that is difficult to get out without removing the shoe. I use these for kayaking and often have to remove them on beach/river entry/exit to clear the rocks and other stuff that gets trapped under my feet. This could be fixed by adding a thinner layer of mesh over the holes or placing them more strategically. It's really the only downside (other than the smell when wet), but it is significant and I hope Teva fixes it.

These are very comfortable and I like the protection aspect while remaining sandals.
My pair had a piece of glue or something that I didn't notice until it had rubbed a sore on the side of my foot. Since you wear sandals with bare feet, it seems like this would be important to check for. Once I found it and removed it things have been fine.

I'm disappointed as they aren't as comfortable as the ones I bought 4 years ago. The material on top feels plastic and cheap and old ones were better quality cotton and much softer on my Bunyans .
I bought a new pair since I wore out the soles on my old Ones !
