I bought these for an upcoming river adventure trip that requires 'water trekking shoes.' After ordering several pairs from Merrell, Teva, and Hoka, these went to the Return pile. The open sections near the toe were oddly positioned--as I walked around the house to test them out, every once in a while my toes would poke through those holes. That wasn't an option since I plan to actually hike in these. Also the styling is just awful. The colors are weird and they are just ugly.

I found it odd that most reviews were stating that the shoe was too narrow and difficult to put on which I thought would be perfect for me because I do have narrow feet. But on the contrary, these shoes are so wide they are trying to flop off my feet with each step. I even ordered a half size down against others recommendations. But I can understand the reviews, if one has a normal or slightly wide foot, then the bed of the shoe would fit great, but I don't know how that wide of a foot would fit it into the opening of the shoe to begin with. So for me, the opening is small and perfect, but I feel like I'm walking in large leather strappy baskets or something, I cannot tighten the straps any tighter. They almost look like clown shoes as you can see the empty space around my ankles and toes. But I can tell they would otherwise be very comfortable. This is my first pair of Tevas.

I liked these when I first started wearing them. After I wore them for a week or so, I realized my back was hurting, my heels were starting to hurt, and my ankles were achy. I realized these do not have enough support. I was in danger of developing plantar fasciitis and/or achilles tendonitis, which have been issues for me in the past. Now I wear these only when I walk from the beach house to the beach.

If you have a thick foot , these are not for you, very different from any shoe I have ever had, opening very narrow. Would recommend a full Two size larger than normal size

I felt this shoe/sandal was just too firm, not cushioned enough and didn't have much lateral support. The arch area is too minimal. But it is roomy enough in the toe area for wider feet, even tho it's not offered in Wide. Other Teva sandals, like the Universal Ceres & Hurricane, are so much better!

I have pancake feet, no instep. The shoes felt clunky on my feet. To much depth in the toe box.

I could see that the Teva Omnium Sandals were exceptionally well-made, as well as featured beautiful colors. I thought that the 8M size would work for me. It didn't. I need a wider sandal, given changes in my feet; so I returned them. (I didn't see that a wider option was/is available.)

I really wanted to love these shoes the actual shoe feels great but the black neoprene like material the hugs the foot makes it impossible to put on. I feel like I need a chiropractor after putting them on and they cut off my circulation. I really want to love them but can't because of this

These looked so similar to the L.L.Bean sandal that was discontinued a few years ago. Unfortunately, it was not the same. They were very difficult to put on, so ended up returning them. Too bad, it looked like a nice sandal.

Sturdy, well made, fit great. BUT when sand gets between your foot and this shoe it does not leave! You can end up uncomfortable walking in them.

The issue with these shoes, and also the size 7.5 I tried, is not sizing or style. The fit is great on the 7, my usual size, even accommodating my bunions. Style is good for this type of sports sandal. Comfort was an issue for me, though. Many rough spots inside for my admittedly sensitive feet. Would probably be ok with socks, but not ideal.

The shoes were too tight to get on. After many minuted of trying, I had help and managaed to get the left shoe on. Once on, it was very good, just what I wanted. However, I returned them because of the initiail difficulty.

Very cute, but difficult to get on. I have a wide foot and while the shoe itself was wide enough, the opening to put my foot through was not large enough and there is no way to loosen it. I struggled for a full 5 minutes trying to get it on and had to ask my husband to do it for me. Even he had a hard time
I'd also recommend:
Rockport and Munroe work best for my size 5 wide feet.

Shoes are super comfortable once you get them on. Please allow an additional 5 mins extra for actually getting shoe past the heel of your foot.

Tried in Costa Rica for all activities requiring closed-toe shoes. They are difficult to get on and off and they rub the heel terribly.

Had to cinch the strap beyond what the Velcro would accommodate. Walking around the house, the heel rubbed, promising future blisters. I returned them.

Sturdy, overall comfortable sandal. Had to return, as one sandal rubbed the inside of my foot. I tried adjusting the straps tighter and looser, leaving a few days in between, as the rub left a small red mark after wearing for one hour. Results were the same after adjustment. Upon very close inspection, it appeared the piping on the top of the inner sandal, just below my ankle bone, was stitched slightly higher than the other. This exposed more of the stitching of the sandal just below it, when compared to the other sandal. Although all felt smooth to the touch of fingers, apparently this slight defect was enough to irritate my skin, as only one sandal was causing the problem. Perhaps others could have worn this sandal with no problem. One other issue I noticed was that the sandal had a light "grip" on the surface that comes in contact with the bottom of the foot, that I found mildly irritating. I only wore the sandals for about 2 hours total, and only in the house, before returning. These sandals were sturdy, and appeared to be good for land or water. I believe these would be great sandals for most people, but perhaps not my tender-footed 70-year old self! I give them 3 stars because other than the uncomfortable fit, they seemed very good. However, I was unable to judge them for performance.
