I have seen these shoes on several women where I live, and thought they might be perfect for my needs. My feet are considered an average width - size Med (B) is usually fine for me, yet when I can choose narrow, I sometimes will. There was no such option on this particular shoe. The package just arrived today, and I was thrilled to put them on, and then adjusted all the various straps to fit my feet. They were very comfortable, yet I noticed one thing - the "toe box", for me, was enormous! While my feet were inside, there was so much extra room, why I could fit 2 1/2 finger widths in the extra space. So, these are not for me, I am going to return them. I am disappointed, as I fully intended to do some serious walking/hiking in them this summer. Yet I don't want to imagine the harsh reality of stones, sharp gravel, or a myriad of other unwanted visitors snuggling in with my otherwise contented toes. If your feet tend to be wide at the toes, then I envy you, since these seem just about the perfect balance between sandals and hiking shoes. Teva, would you consider narrowing the toe box and call them Omnuim 2's?
I'd also recommend:
Oboz, Birkenstocks.

These are the bounciest shoes imaginable. Styling makes my feet look like a grown up toddlers, which I actually like. Wearing them around blazing hot Brooklyn, my feet did sweat a bit. But I can see these as very useful travel companions, light and supportive.

I own a kayak tour/rental busness. We put in on a sandy beach. These snadals drain well, dry fast, and are very comfortable.

Great fit and comfort, not so good for wading in sand or small gravel as it gets trapped and shoes have to be removed to clear. Awesome for use with boating, kayaking, and walking in areas where you get your feet wet, except, as mentioned before, where small rocks, sticks, sand, and debris can get into footbed area.

I like the the idea of toe protection you get unlike opened toe sandals. I wear them until it gets to cold to wear outside

I use this shoe to fish from shore, so I'm usually standing in water for 3 hrs or so. My first and second pr. came unglued at the soles. First pr. I discarded, second pr. Teva told me they had addressed the glue issue and replaced my second pair which was a gift. To be honest, I haven't given this pr. a decent shot to determine if they, indeed, will withstand, standing in water for 3 hrs. and having the sole stay glued to the shoe. But, if so, this is a great looking, good fitting shoe, no pressure points, love the color I chose, which is lt. gray/lt. green/aqua, very feminine and comfortable. I'm hoping the buckles will not accumulate the fine Florida sand which deemed them unworkable until blasted under water and am hoping Teva also addressed this issue. If you will be using this shoe under the conditions I've listed; that is, standing in water for 3+ hrs., you will have to wait till my final review. However, if using in other conditions, jumping in and out of a kayak, crossing streams, etc., this is the shoe for you!

This is my SECOND pair, I've worn the first pair EVERYWHERE, in the water, in the mountains, at the beach, on horses, on ATVs, walking, climbing, strolling you name it! I bought the second pair because I can't imagine not having these shoes to wear! My first pair is 5 years old and are still going strong - I hope this pair lasts as well for as long!

Loved the shoe out of the box. Third summer still look good. My only beef is the soles come apart.A little glue fixes problem. My Teva hiking boots did the same thing.

I bought this shoe for vacation. My feeet get to hot in tennis shoes. These shoes worked great. They cover your toes for protection and still have places so your feet can breath. So far I haven't had any problems with the shoes.

Unlike some other shoes, there was no "wear in" period, especially on the back of the ankles. The shoes are very comfortable to stand and walk in. The shoes let your feet breath in hotter weather.

This is my second pair! These sandals are great for the backpacking trips I take. Having to switch from hiking boots to water sandals to cross rivers and creeks is such a pain. With these sandals I can hike comfortably and not have to stop and change everytime I come to water.

I ordered this shoe because it looked like it could be adjusted in a lot of different ways. Unfortunately, it didn't have enough room for my very high instep, so I'm returning it.

I had the original Dozers and loved them, had them 4 years, and would still have them if the dog would not have chewed them up. These have a better toe design than the Dozers and seem to be a little more all around functional. Can't wait to use them all summer long this year and for years to come.

These shoes are very comfortable as long as I'm wearing some sort of sock. Otherwise, they do rub on the back of my heel and a little under my arch due to some of the lines in the shoe. They were perfect for zip lining through the jungle in Mexico though. The toe area is very wide and slightly awkward looking, but it's still comfortable. I haven't worn them in the water yet, but plan to wear them a lot more this summer. I'm hoping I can wear them without socks after I've broken them in more.

I tried them on in store prior to online purchasing which was good as they are a slightly large make (I am a size 6.5 - 7 in Aus and fit the size 6 Tevas). I have one foot slightly narrower than the other which means I am prone to blistering around the back of the heel/ ankle area. The extra adjustments available on this shoe make it easy to fit them to your own unique foot! The soles are oh so comfortable (although the arch support took a couple of hours to get used to), I also experienced minor rubbing on the first day I wore them while I got my adjustments correct (what feels great when first put on can change after a few hours). Overall Im very happy with the comfort of the shoes. I didnt buy them for the look (personally i find them pretty ugly), but I wanted an amphibious hiking shoe for an upcoming trip to the Galapagos Islands. I am a little concerned about other reviews saying the sole comes off, but so far wearing them constantly for a few days through wet weather and puddles I have had no problems. The grip is very good in the wet.[...]

Really wide toe box. Comfy with good cushioning and arch support. Feels like a sneaker. I find the accordion heel strap to be an annoying design, tho my foot did not blister. Far better toe protection than a regular sandal.

Purchased these sandals in 2009 and have worn them for a variety of activities (kayaking, hiking, casual, fitness walking, etc). Have had no problems. They are comfortable, fit well, soles have worn great..sorry to hear that folks are having sole problems as they probably didn't get to experience the good qualities of these shoes. Will buy again for sure..like the better color options that are now available.

I bought this shoe for a trip to Costa Rica, where I knew I would be hiking quite a bit. They stood up well and provided adequate support during my mountain hikes, when I was in and out of water, and they washed clean easily. The only (minor) negative is that the toe box is rather wide and looks a bit clumsy on my feet. Other than that, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I actually love these things! Comfortable, great support, lots of adjustment etc, but after 2 years of minimal use primarily using them for walking dirt trails and some water use the soul came off one. It sucked because they were still in pretty good shape. I used some powerful glue and they seem to be doing OK for now, but I don't trust them on a trip where I may have to hike out. May just get another pair but I will worry about those coming apart also. Maybe I'll bring glue with me.

Great walking shoes with a lot of support, though it took a day or two to break so as not to rub the back of the heal.

The sandal is just what I expected as far as style and color. Loved it! I passed them along to a friend that also loved them once she saw them since they fit her better than me. I will be ordering another pair in a size 7 Women's, the first pair I ordered were an 8 Women's and they were too big for me. Sadly I will have to wait a little bit longer to wear my sandals. This sandal is perfect for my long nature hikes through the jungle, rivers and beaches of Puerto Vallarta.
