Very comfortable and lightweight - Great sandal. Very comfortable. True to size. I like that the sandal is very lightweight and it has a nice "low profile" sole. The first day I wore these, I had no problems whatsoever with irritation or blisters on my feet. If you are in the market for a comfortable sandal to wear this summer, this is it. Great sandals - I wore out my old pair of Tevas and tried a different type as a replacement. I ended up scrapping those and getting these. They are comfortable and easy to adjust. The flaps by the buckles stay in place. I also like the material. The plastic soles make my feet sweat and these are much more comfortable. I highly recommend.

I bought these for my husband. They looked exactly like the pair he had, but when we got them, they were of better quality. He really loves them. True to size and the comfort, support, and toughness quality were beyond his expectations. He is so pleased and happy that I purchased them for him.

My husband LOVES these - My husband has very wide feet ad most shoes are uncomfortable. I coaxed him to try Teva, as I have always loved their shoes. He will NOT take them off. He claims they have opened up a whole new world for him. I fact, after two weeks of wear, they already look very broken in.

Walking tour guide says: Thumbs up! As a sightseeing guide, I put a lot of miles on my shoes. Since discovering Teva ten years ago, I have not bought sneakers in about five. Got a pair of Fossil Canyons about three weeks ago and love them. They're good on Manhattan sidewalks, in the Atlantic Ocean and on the beach. They are even pretty okay for cycling, with very little side-slip in rain. The toe and ankle straps velcro into place and adjust easily for extra tightness in wet environments, avoiding that slippery sensation following midtown June thunderstorms. (Walked through a thunderstorm this afternoon while escorting a group at Sunnyside, the very steeply-sloped home of Washington Irving.) Very wet, very steep, yet no problem! If this pair continue to wear like my previous Tevas, they will be good for three years of constant walking (late April to October in NYC) and another few months until I get another pair. Nice work, designers!

They don't get any better... Cool and comfortable and totally amenable to rugged us. Heel construction--has a "lip" that comes up a fraction of and inch on the heel. I believe this aspect of the design has much to do with it being such a good sandal.

Fit like a glove! I bought these for my husband. They really fit him well and look like they were made for his feet. He wears a true 8. These were a perfect fit. He says they are very comfortable.

Crisp and smart - Nice leather, sharp-looking edges, great for business casual, if sandals are permitted.

Teva’s Rule! I've been a fan of Teva's products for over 10 years, and I couldn't be happier with my latest purchase. I've been waiting for a black leather sandal, and I was very happy to see this new model. In fact, I ordered two pairs to make sure I don't miss out in case the line gets cancelled. I highly recommend them.

Good product and great service. The size is a little small for the marked size, but within tolerable limits. If I had more time I would probably send them back for a half size increase.

The Fossil Canyon is a good outdoor sandal. I got a pair of these when the strap broke on my Teva Katavis, and I like these at least as well. I was concerned that the microfiber foot pad would absorb moisture and sweat rather than allowing it to evaporate, and while they are certainly more absorbent than the Katavis with their soft synthetic topsole, I don't see that this is a problem.

This is a very nice shoe if you need absolutely no arch support. Other than that, it was quite comfortable.

Adjustable, comfortable and reasonably good looks. I ordered the Teva Fossil Canyon sandals after trying and returning a pair of Keen Daytona sandals. I loved the styling of the Keens, but they didn't have enough adjustability for me, one foot is 2 sizes smaller than the other. These Teva sandals fit great and I'm pleased with the comfort after two weeks of use. I went with the brown "cigar" color since I plan to wear them primarily around town with jeans or khaki shorts. Zappos shipped overnight. No complaints.

Pretty good - This is a good looking, light, generally comfortable sandal. I like it a lot, except the heel guard (not the back strap) chafes. I'm not sure why that guard is even necessary, the back strap would do the job.

Bought for husband for father's day - He loves the shoes! Very comfortable. Look just like the picture. He wore them right away with ease.

It is a nice sandal in many ways except for one flaw, but a major flaw, in my opinion. The strap which is supposed to come across the toe does not; it comes across the part of your foot which is before your toe. If you like a strap which to some extent holds your toes in place, then this model is not for you. But Zappos' excellent customer service made the return very easy, I must say.

Comfortable for walking. My feet are sensitive to the plastic/foam material found in many sandals. I have not had any problem with these.

These are great sandals! They are just what I was looking for. They are very comfortable, sturdy, and provide good sole support. I had to exchange mine for a smaller size and the process was incredibly easy and efficient.

I wear sandals all the time and go everywhere in them from May through October. They have to be very comfortable. These fit the bill better than any sandal I have owned. I will definitely continue buying them as I need them.

These are great sandals and I love them. I researched on alot of Teva sandals and finally decided to go with these fossils canyons. They are very comfortable and look very cool. Plus buying from Zappos was a great experience with free shipping both ways.

These sandals were comfortable straight out of the box. My feet didn't have to suffer from having to wear them in. They're rugged enough for outdoor adventures, yet stylish enough to wear for a night out on the town. I'd definitely buy these again and recommend them to others.

I wore these sandals for two weeks straight while on a canoeing trip in Maine, and they were very comfortable the entire time.
