Great shoes for walking -
I've been wearing new balance ww575 for years. I renew them every year. This time I saw the new version ww576 and decided to try it. It's just as good. I wear them for walking and also for the gym. New balance shoes are very comfortable especially if you have a longer second toe like I do.

Excellent quality, but a very tight fit in the toes and arches.

I wear a 10-1/2 AA shoe and my possibilities are limited. It's not stylish but I bought this shoe for comfy walking. The ankle cuff felt a little high to me at first but, as it's padded, it was not a problem after a couple of weeks. Now I can wear them every morning when I walk with my dog.

I have found that New Balance tends to run 1/2 size smaller so I ordered a 6 when I normally wear 5 1/2. I bought this shoe for walking, and I didn't want my toes hitting the end of the shoe as I walked. They are very comfortable for walking for exercise or for just running errands. They give great support when walking over uneven ground. The toe box is perhaps a little bigger than other shoes but I like to be able to wiggle my toes a little, especially if I wear the shoes all day. I gave them 3 stars for style as they are all white (no color anywhere) and the toe box is broader, not tapered like a lot of the running and cross-training shoes.

This shoe is comfortable and true to size. I work hours on concrete floors and they keep my feet from hurting.

I got these shoes to wear to work. I need good support because I am on my feet. They have worked out well. They certainly are not glamorous, but that is not the reason I bought them. The New Balance shoe seems to be right for me.

I\'ve always had good luck with New Balance shoes. This is a very comfortable shoe and nice enough for me to wear to work. They get slippery on wet surfaces and can be a bit stiff but overall a great shoe.

I finally kept these shoes after sending back 2 other types of athletic shoes. I normally order a 7 in Softspots, but these shoes are sized differently. I ordered an 8WW and they fit. The shoes are very comfortable and plenty wide. The heel is average so may slip on those with narrow heels, but the collar comes up far enough to help. These are not the most beautiful shoes in the world. In fact, they are fairly "old lady", but hey, I am an older lady! If it's comfort you're looking for and aren't too particular about looks, I highly recommend these shoes. They are easy on my bunion and I was able to put my inserts in them.

I bought this shoe for work, since I\'m on my feet for 12 hour shifts, and it just wasn\'t as comfortable as I\'d hoped. The sizing was great, lots of room for my wide feet, but there was no cushioning inside, no arch support for my flat feet. With thick socks and gel supports, it\'s definitely more comfortable, and my feet don\'t hurt anymore at the end of the day. I would recommend this shoe since New Balance is a good brand, but just know that it isn\'t as soft and springy as other NB you may have worn in the past.

I bought these shoes for casual wear. They are comfortable, supportive and fit my narrow feet well. The only problem I had is that the heel kept slipping, so I bought an insole at the drugstore, cut off the heel portion and put it under the heel of the insole that came in the shoe, problem solved! I like New Balance because they come in narrow, they fit well and last. These seem to run true to size but as with all New Balance you just have to try them on--some sizes require sizing up a half size. Zappos is great at customer service so getting multiple sizes if you need to is not a problem!

These shoes seemed to run shorter than others, so even after having them professionally stretched, they are still a bit tight. I would probably wear an 11.5, but the shoe doesn't come in half sizes over 11. I was looking for something that had the comfort of a walking shoe, but didn't look so athletic. Sadly, I have a reasonably attractive shoe that isn't that comfortable.

Purchasing Walking Shoes via the Internet -
This is the first time I have ever ordered shoes from any source. I was brave enough to try as I had a previous pair of New Balance Walking Shoes that had seen their day and knew the size from the inside of the shoe's tongue. Even though the previous shoes were centuries old the sizing had remained the same---Thank You New Balance and Zappos.

Be careful of the low edge, it can rub on your foot. I returned a pair of these because they squeaked but the staff was wonderful in sending a new pair, which are fine. However, I had to find something to cushion the lower edge on the outer side as it rubbed against my ankle bone and left a blister. I'm sure they will be fine when they are broken in.

Shoe does what I need it to do -
I'm on my feet most of the day. I recently tore my Achilles tendon, developed Plantar fasciitis. Dr. said I really needed a work shoe that I could tie. It's not much on looks, but it's dark & seems to pass for a dress shoe.

Hmmm -
Well, I meant to order a duplicate of what I had last time, but did not... this shoe is slightly less comfortable, squeaks a bit & makes my toes look odd ... that being said, I did keep it and am wearing it with no ill effects.

8 hour shift -
The shoe feels a little Frankensteinish to me. All day on my feet and they are somewhat clunky. The width is fine though and true to what it should be.

Comfortable but Dorky looking -
I wish they would make these shoes look more fashionable. They are truly great shoes but they look so dorky. I hope they will look better as I break them in. The delivery was fantastic, got them in 2 days. GO ZAPPOS!!!

Well, I really thought they were going to work. When I first put them on they were very "cushiony." But, due to very, very sensitive feet, they just didn't make it for me. Wouldn't blame the shoe, I blame my feet!

I strayed, but came back -
I would LOVE to find a cushioned walking sneaker that accommodates my high instep, narrow heel and wide foot, AND is stylish, but have given up my search for style in favor of comfort. I tried Reebok, Nike and Etonic, and none could match the comfort of this New Balance shoe for my hard-to-fit foot. I stray, but I always come back to this shoe. But why can't New Balance spend 5 minutes upgrading the look of this shoe? All the stylish shoes are made for runners or for 'average' feet. If you have a hard-to-fit foot and need a great walking shoe, you're more or less reduced to wearing an all-white, clunky-looking shoe that's as stylish as a toddler's first shoe. So, while my feet love the fit of this shoe, it has about as much style as the cardboard shoe box it comes in.

It is a very basic walking shoe. It is not the most comfortable sneaker I have worn, but I find that true in a lot of black dyed leather sneakers. My back doesn't hurt after walking all day, so it must be doing its job!

With the NB shoes, I generally find that I have to order a size larger, but when putting on this pair I found the size larger wasn't large enough! I usually wear a 10 dress shoe, an 11 in NB, and refuse to order a 12. I had to send them back.

I always buy New Balance athletic shoes (they fit me best) and almost always wear a size 11M in this brand. My previous WW574 shoes (predecessor to the WW576?) fit fine. The WW576 is about a half-size too short. (I can't rate the product since I couldn't wear it.)

I realize that not all shoes are made equal and that not all shoes are made for my feet. This shoe is not made for me. I need more cushion on the heels. I also did not realize this when I bought the shoes. I am on my feet all day and at the end on the day my feet still not see improvement. I broke down and bought a pair of Crocs. The shoe is uglier in person.

I purchased these shoes in a 4E width. They are wide enough. The only complaint that I have is that they slip off the back of my feet. I decided to keep them anyway. I won't buy them again though.
