This shoe is remarkably comfortable on first wearing. It feels good, and it looks good. Also excellent customer service.

It took me a little while to break these in (they felt far too narrow for their size at first), but once I had, these were just wonderful. I have a job that involves nothing but walking and climbing (usually while carrying heavy loads) so I need a good, durable walking shoe and this filled the bill. Seems just perfect so far; here's hoping that lasts.

Looked high and low for a shoe that would be comfortable and wide enough. I found it with the help of great Zappos person.

Initially I chose these because of the price and because, at the time, they were the only pair in the size and width I needed. Then they sold out and I was out of luck. So I would just like to say 'thank you' to whoever returned my size :) I was less concerned with how they looked until how I received them and realized that not only were they not that bad, but they're actually cute. If nothing else they appear very well made. As another reviewer mentioned, they were quite stiff. I thought this might be a problem but, being a person with stability issues, these actually give me more confidence. They're solid and seem like they'll last quite a long time. I've not purchased New Balance before but width and sizing are on point, so I see myself getting more in the future. Overall, great purchase.

I have recently ordered these shoes for working on tile floors all day - walking a lot! I love these shoes. I used to wake up in the morning with pain in the backs of my heels; as I've broken them in I don't have any more pain. First time ordering online, great experience.

Just broke my foot so wanted a substantial shoe for the other one and when I'm healed for the broken one. I love these. Plently of room in the toe area and I'm always happy when I can find wide widths.

I have bad feet and just overall sensitive feet, and these don't hurt or rub anywhere. I use them for walking. They're not cute by any means, but with black pants they blend in better than white athletic shoes. I'm thinking of getting another pair before they discontinue them (that always happens when I find a pair of shoes I like). About sizing; I usually wear a 9 M but got a 10M in these. I also added a thin Spenco liner.

I have been buying this shoe for a few years now from Zappos and love it. It's comfortable, sturdy, and good-looking at a great price. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Bought these for my nursing student daughter who is very rough on shoes. These are comfortable and have worn well. Just a bit more narrow than you expect for a wide.

My first purchase from Zappos and I am thrilled with the shoes. My feet are misshapen from Arthritis so I need an extra wide width. Hard to find in stores but was able to get them so easily on-line. Shoes are comfortable, true to size and I'm very satisfied. The free shipping from Zappos is great, too.

Very comfy for my wide problem feet that hate shoes. Good wide toe box and support. Not the best looking shoe, but not bad and the comfort makes up for it. My only wish is that they were leather.

This walking shoe is the best. I\'ve worn it for years. They run about a half size small, but they are truly a delight on your feet.

I used to buy New Balance 575's, and these are the same shoes without the pink ribbon for breast cancer. Very comfortable!

Just ordered my second pair. The first pair lasted about 5 months (I wore them every single day). My orthotics fit well in the shoe. I have an injury, and these have been very comfortable and supportive. My only complaint is, of course, the shoe is not stylish at all. I wish they would make it in different colors other than black and white. The shoe is so comfortable, though!

Excellent walking shoe with support & cushion. Love 2E width for my bunion foot. Room for thicker socks if desired. The tongue of this shoe does not cut into my ankle/top of foot as shoes with very high tongue.

Plenty of toe wiggle room in this shoe! My toes are very, very happy. Supportive all over, but doesn\'t go so high up on the ankle that it becomes annoying.

I have had two surgeries on my left foot and these are the most comfortable shoes I have found. I am on my feet all night at work.
