I know why they're so popular! I needed a sturdy slip on, one that was fine for all seasons and would last. (And was affordable) What I found were these. These shoes are one of the most comfortable pairs of casual shoes I own. I have hard fit to fit (short, wide and high arched) and these Crocs worked great. They fit well with everything from fleece socks, to running socks to barefoot and never fall off. As their website notes, do buy these a size bigger.

A GREAT SHOE - I love the closed toe design of the shoe and they are comfortable right out of the box and if spend any time on your feet-this is a shoe for you!

Great for winter! I still love my regular Beach Crocs the best, but these run a close second. I live in the Midwest, where it has been really frigid lately, so I need to have closed shoes. The only thing I don't like it you really have to wear these shoes with socks. They are too closed to wear without for any length of time without, as your feet will sweat without the holes! They fit well with socks however, and just like all Crocs, are SO comfortable!

Not as comfortable as other CROCS styles - I have many different styles of CROCS...I work in the food industry and thought the BISTRO style would be perfect for the sometime (OFTEN) slippery conditions of work floors. I'm sure they would have been, however, after receiving in less than 36 hours from ZAPPOS, I tried on and walked around on carpet to feel how they felt. SOOO very unhappy...Shoe is very stiff and hard on the sole...Not at all as cushy and flexible as the other styles. I returned them to ZAPPOS; waiting for refund to show up in my account...They did receive the return in 3 days. I love ZAPPOS and CROCS...Just not this style...I like the Specialist style, and the Professional style for comfort and non-skid.

Great shoe! This shoe had a better fit than the other Crocs I purchased. The sole is a little deeper so my feet stay dry during the rains.

Watch your sizing - When I first read the info on the Croc Bistro, I did not take the piece that stated more of a snug fit to much to heart. It was not blown up or made a big deal of, just a short blurb. Well having worn the Endeavor for about a year now. I work on my feet 48 hours a week, and 6 months prior to my first Croc purchase I had a full hip replacement. The non skid sole was so very reassuring. But now low and behold the new Bistro is like wearing Velcro on your feet. My work kitchen floor is treacherous when wet. Well to get back to my original point they are a little snug on the fit. No wide width as yet, but don't quote me on that. 2 colours (British) only. MY Chocolate pair are cool... Good luck with yours...Limey

Love the comfort and light weight of the Bistro I recently purchased. These Crocs give me a little extra support for those long days on my feet and a little additional protection from spills because they are enclosed. Also appreciate the extra traction sole on wet surfaces.

Passed the Scrub Test - I reluctantly bought these crocs to wear at my job, a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. To my surprise they met my demands for shoes in the OR-comfortable, light, easy clean blood and other "stuff" off. They took a little getting used to: lack of an enclosed heel is a weird feeling. I bought the largest size (13) even though I wear size 14 sneakers. The 13 size works ok for me. The only negative is no air circulation which leaves me with soaked socks after 13 hours of work. I didn't feel comfortable getting the style with the holes for fear of getting "work-related" debris inside the shoes.

Great shoe - I finally broke down and decided to by a pair of Croc's after hearing/reading all the great reviews and I can tell you I'm not disappointed one bit. I'm not too crazy about the other styles but I really like this one. Still casual but more shoe like. I would compare the look to my Keen Ashlands, which is also a great shoe. They are so comfortable and light weight that half of time I forget I'm wearing them. Overall a great shoe and I've been wearing them constantly. Even in the cold weather here in Chicago, they keep my feet warm. The only drawback I can see, since there are no vents, the shoe can cause your feet to sweat. They are more a of fall, winter and early spring shoe in my opinion if you're looking for a casual shoe not work related.

I have a hard time find shoes that don't hurt my feet, these are comfortable from the firt time you put them on and my feet don't hurt after being on them all day. I recommend them to people all the time. They are awesome.

Definitely the most comfortable shoes I own. However, I wish I'd gotten the kind with vent holes in the side because these solid rubber shoes make my feet sweat and then blister. Next time!

These were a good buy. They are just what I wanted for working outside in wet or dry weather. They are a little wide as I do not wear socks. I inserted a pair of gel insoles, which I do in most of my shoes, and so now they fit. The movable strap is great. With the strap I can even climb into a boat without loosing a shoe. I bought an 8 and usually wear 8½ shoes.

China Vs. Mexico! After reading the reviews here about sizing, I decided to play it safe and order two sizes, a W7 and W8. When they arrived, I noticed one pair was made in China, (the 7's) one in Mexico. One was too big, one too small. I returned them both. Today in a store I saw the same Bistro Crocs, tried on the 7, and wahlah...perfect fit. So, the 7's I returned were made in China, and the 7's that fit were made in Mexico. They feel a half-size larger. And the material on the Mexi-made ones is a bit more pliable and more "rubber-like". So I guess the moral of the story is...if you have half-size needs, see if Zappos can send you a half-size smaller specifically made in Mexico! Hope that makes sense and this helps. I heart Zappos.

Ordered my usual size, but they were a bit too small. Didn't think it would be so bad, but these shoes definitely have to fit loosely! The problem of wet, sopping, sweaty feet is more of an issue than I thought it would be. I cashier (stand in one place for hours) and these shoes don't offer much help--and they're worse if you're having to bustle around! Oh, well. Guess the search continues.

Of the 5 styles I ordered, this one fit the best. But, there isn't enough arch support, and when I tried adding an insole, the toe box of the shoe is so wide that either the insole or my foot slid sideways. I ended up partially off the insole. Doesn't work for me.

I love the Crocs Bistro, but don't get the orange if you are actually working in a kitchen! They got disgusting looking real fast. Better to go with the darker colors if you're in a situation where they'll get dirty.

I never thought that I would buy a pair of Crocs, but I needed them for baking school. I was pleasantly surprised. They are comfortable and I like the color and I will end up wearing them outside.

I am a lifeguard and bought a pair of these about a year ago because I detest flip-flops and the soles of Beach Crocs were like grease on the pool deck tiles. The only problem was that after about a year the non-slip soles on these started to come unglued. I reglued them once with Gorilla Glue but in the Florida sun that only lasted about a month. I have bought another pair hoping the first were just lemons. As far as comfort they are almost as comfortable as the Beach Crocs, just not quite as soft. The soles are great though there is no slippage at all on very slippery wet tiles.

The first several months were great, but then I had to super glue the soles back on because they kept peeling off. I have had to glue them twice. I have had them one year. I will probably get Shoes for Crews next time.

Crocs Bistro may well be the best from the Crocs line for health care workers as well as the restaurant industry. The closed foot box and higher heel cup keep the foot enclosed and protected from dangers of the workplace such as splashes of blood or soup! The sole is much better than other Crocs I've worn for traction. It's slip resistance is great in the work environment that tends to get a little messy. Crocs always tend to run large so don't be shy. With Zappos fantastic service and return policy including paid return shipping, the right size is just an order away. There is arch support but those of us who need the additional support of an orthotic I have great news. The orthotic will actually stay in place in this model and the higher heel cup means you foot will stay in place too! My only complaint about any Crocs is the strap eventually breaks off. I do continue to use them as a slip on for the garden, running the trash out, etc. The strap breakage usually takes place far down the road of ownership and is likely due to my particular stride. My only complaint about the Bistro is I'd love to see it in more colors. Now, since Crocs takes part in a fantastic program where you can recycle you old shoes, I've decided that Crocs is my favorite shoe company. Soles United will turn your old discards into new shoes for the needy and given out free of charge.

Life savers - Crocs are some big old ugly shoes and the bistros with the lack of ventilation soak my feet. However I have been a Chef for 15 years and of all the shoes I've owned never have I experienced such comfort and I have yet to slip on wet floors not even a bit. After a certain time of the day my lower back would start to go. Or my dogs would bark so loud they'd wake the neighbors. Not with these! I bring extra socks to work and the walk to the train is always good one. (As far as the look, I'm no fashion freak so for anyone who is on their feet for more than 10 hours a day, they grow on you.)

Good shoe for standing around! I'm on my feet all day in the hospital or the OR. These shoes are good, but at the end of the day, 12-18 hours later, my feet are still tired. But much better than any other shoe I've found!
