A decent shoe at a good price. Lots of room for swollen feet. Unfortunately the flexible rubber design doesn't breathe very well. I bought these on the recommendation of my friend who also works in a bakery. I switched from my too tight Danskos to these and felt relief. I used them 8+ hours daily for about a month until my plantar fasciitis started acting up because of the lack of heel support. I bought a pair of Birki professional clogs and alternate with these Crocs to keep my feet from getting used to one shoe. My Birki's have a lot more support, but I put a soft insert into these Crocs for a little extra comfort. If you work somewhere with a lot of debris (like a bakery with crumbs all over the floor), the little particles will get stuck in the sole of this shoe and they can get a bit slippery. However, throwing them in the washing machine or dishwasher will get rid of most of the debris.

Thanks, Zappos, for your timely delivery. I needed some clogs for the wet gardening in the Northwest. These will perform well because they have no holes, but the sole seems to accumulate a lot of debris and it's hard to clean it off. I like that they are lightweight. The size 8 fits my size 8 1/2 feet fine, but just. I will need to see how they fit with heavier socks come winter. They are not beautiful and the brown color is the color of mud. Kind of wish I'd chosen something brighter.

I really waffled on sending these back. They look good compared to my old knock-off blue crocs, but the lack of ventilation makes my feet sweat profusely, then I can literally remove them and pour it out, which grosses out my wife! Maybe some mods with a soldering iron will do the trick! They rub the tops of my feet slightly and produced a blister, but now I think they have broken me in. I would not recommend any long walks/hikes in these without socks, or without a lengthy break-in period.

A huge skeptic of Crocs but in need of comfort for work (nurse) and my postpartum foot expansion, I got a pair. Very comfy and extremely lightweight, especially compared to my Dansko clogs. They do make my feet sweat a tiny bit. Lots of room in the toe bed but fit my narrowish foot surprisingly well. I'll buy another pair for around the house, probably won't wear them out in public as I still think they are fairly ugly.

I have terrible foot problems that cause me to be in pain most of the time I am standing. Since I work on my feet for my entire shift I had to find something comfortable. After many pairs of New Balance shoes, I found these. These are very comfortable! Great arch support, very cushy and OSHA approved footwear. There is a difference in the Croc shoes, I think these work the best on concrete floors.

I've owned a pair of Crocs before, ones that you could buy at the mall. I didn't really think much of them. I left them out in the sun accidentally and they pretty much melted. I decided to try them again. I'm a teacher and am on my feet quite a bit. I saw chefs on TV wearing Crocs. I thought, "they must wear them for a reason". I decided to buy the Bistros since they don't have the stupid holes that everyone associates with Crocs. I received them in the email very quickly. I mean really really quickly. I tried them on immediately and started walking around. I was immediately impressed with how comfortable they were. But, I needed to field test them in the classroom. So, I took them to work and wore them all day. At work, I purposely use a stand-up desk so that it forces me to walk around and help students and not get lazy. At the end of the day, my feet felt great. Sure I got a little flak about wearing Crocs (they're not super cool anymore), but my feet were not hurting. Best of all, they are a relatively cheap pair of shoes. I recommend these shoes to anyone who has to be on their feet all day (teachers, nurses, doctors, pharmacists, etc.

I purchased the Crocs Bistro for use at work in a hospital. I am on my feet most of the day (patient transport). I wanted some Crocs that looked like normal shoes, so got these without the vents. The material used for these is harder/firmer than the material for regular holed Crocs typically seen around. Takes a few days to break them in. I had an issue with the strap buckle digging into the side of my foot and actually just removed it, was pretty annoying and hurt. It also features a sort of cupped heel, so you're foot doesn't slide out easily. The material on the bottom is non slip. It's useful and actually works. Overall, these are a good pair of Crocs, but they are not as soft as other Crocs. So, if you like the softer feeling ones (I will probably end up buying softer vented ones later on) you may want to try these before buying them.

Kitchen Crocs - Since I work in a very busy bake shop at a major university I decided to try the Bistro style this time (instead of the Endeavor I usually wear). Overall they are great shoes; they really are non slip no matter the surface or spill on the floor, unlike the Endeavor which occasionally did. However they are not nearly as soft and cushy on your feet after being on them for a long shift. So if you want more of the comfort and less stress on your feet/back, get the Endeavor, if non slip really is an issue get the Bistro.

Pretty good restaurant shoe but not "pretty" My co-workers and my managers made fun of my ugly clog shoe (one co-worker called me "the little Dutch girl") but they are very comfortable and very non-slip in the kitchen at work. The only thing I noticed about these shoes, that I do not notice with my other regular crocs, is that it seems like my ankles ache and my arches have pain that wasn't there before. Some of it may be due to 10-hr days on my feet, but it seemed that the shoes don't provide as much stability from side to side. They are definitely better than the heavy non-slip shoe I had been wearing--these are very lightweight. I will buy another pair when these wear out.

Fail! I got these to wear at work--8 hrs a day of standing on concrete--but try as I might I could not make them work. The bumps on the inner soles hurt my feet, and by the end of the day they were screaming. That night I found some leftover linoleum to cover the bumps until I could find an insole to do that. I wore them the next day, but the linoleum--cushion side to my feet--and the make of the Crocs made them too hot. My feet began to sweat and slip over the sole: I was left with HUGE blisters on my ring toes. Only the ring toe, probably from the ridge on the crocs sole that goes across where the toes connected to the foot. It looked like I had grapes under my toes due to the bulge of liquid-filled blisters. They never broke but were painful. I can't return the Crocs because I wore them but I can use them for limited wear, like walking outside to get something. I ordered some Saucony walkers that were reviewed well by people standing on concrete all day. Fingers crossed. Zappo's tried to find something for me--suggested the Hoka One One--but I got the Saucony Walkers due to a friend's suggestion and the reviews of them here.

I wear a size 7 Medium and have a high arch. I should have ordered a 6. They do run wider. I stood on my feet volunteering at a Soup Kitchen. The Crocs did help with my lower back pain/tailbone, that I normally get when standing for long periods. I was really surprised that I had no lower back pain whatsoever!!

Update to my review of July 12. As mentioned, 9's(women's) were too small (I usually wear 9 1/2–10) so ordered 10's. They were huge (and bigger than my husband's 11's) , customer service kindly sent me another pair in case first 10's were mismarked. 2nd pair same. So I decided to order another 9 in case they might be different than 1st 9's. Sure enough, 2nd pair of 9's were 3/4–1" bigger than first pair, and they fit very well now. So, either first 9's were mismarked and were actually an 8. And/or crocs has VERY poor quality control. 1st pair said 'made in Mexico', 2nd pair of 9's and both 10's said 'made in Vietnam). and BTW, 1st pair of 9's were about 1/4–3/8"" difference between the left & right shoe as well. Thanks to a suggestion in another review, I cut out holes in the sides (where there are punched indents) so my feet would breathe since I'm wearing in the summer and it's dry where I live. The 9's in the corc's classic were also too small, like the 1st 9's of the bistros. But unfortunatley I didn't look to see where they were made before sending back. I may try another pair in case it had to do with where they were made as I'm srue the 10's would be too big. I tried many other styles of croc clogs but they were all too narrow in the forefront (I do have a wide forefront but narrow heels). Hope Crocs gets their sizing & quality control worked out. Zappos customer service is the absolute best!

There is something seriously wrong with the sizing. Size 9 (womens) are a bit too short for me so I reordered in a 10. (I ususally wear a 9 1/2, or in running shoes & hiking boots, often a 10, but in birkenstocks a 39-40, depending on style) They are 1 1/2" longer than the 9's, and basically the same length (maybe even a little longer) than my husband's crocs (albeit from a few years ago) which are a ize larger (equal to womens 11) The 9s I got say 'made in Mexico', the 10s 'made in Vietnam'. How can they be that off in terms of standard quality control??? Yes, I (and many others) wish crocs had half sizes, but even allowing for the fact they don't this is crazy. (unless I got a mismarked pair) I tried several other styles but they were all too narrow for me. I need the bistros. I did try the original croc style (with holes) but had the smae problem with the 9s I orderd (too short). Didnt't try the 10s in that style, decided to order the bistors instead.

I just received my Crocs last week and they are too big and wide. The good news is I have purchased shoes from Zappos for years and know I can send (with no postage charge) them back and get a new pair or have the bill taken off my credit card. I am one that truly likes to shop on here since it is so easy and no worries. Thanks for your service.
I'd also recommend:
the Crocs that are use by doctors and nurses. they are the only shoe I can wear with comfort and without orthotics.

They are nice but the bottoms are different than before.. We live in northern MI and my husband wears them to the hot tub and back. They hold so much dirt and pine needles. Would rather of had them with the plain bottoms. I have the same pair I got about 3 years ago and wish his had bottoms like those. Needless to say we hate the bottoms. Allot to clean up in the house.

I have wide feet. Although these Crocs were advertised as a wide width and did have plenty of toe room, they were difficult to get on and tight across the top of my foot. Ive worn Crocs for years as a nurse and for gardening. Lately, the comfortable wide Crocs are hard to find.

I'm a chef and I work on my feet 12 hours a day. I've tried hundreds of work shoes over the years, but by the end of the day I can barely walk. (Epsom salt foot soak + menthol lotion on my feet + rest usually does the trick.) I tried Crocs Bistro hoping they would alleviate some of the pain. A few things really bothered me about these shoes: 1. The top of the arch on this shoe was really tight. At first, I ordered a women's 8.5, but I exchanged them for a women's 9. They were still tight. It was hard to move my feet when I walked, because there wasn't any flexibility in the upper part of the shoe, and standing on my tip toes to reach for anything was impossible. 2. They are much stiffer than other Crocs I've tried. For durability in the kitchen, I don't see a problem with the stiffness of the shoe, but for comfort it was a pain. 3. The toe grips were in the wrong spot for my toes. I usually wear an 8.5 in shoes, but the 9 fit better in length in Crocs Bistro. However, with both the 8.5 and 9, the toe grip on the right shoe dug into the middle of my big toe. On the left shoe, the toe grip was nonexistent. Very weird. I returned these shoes. I've been wearing my Crocs Classics ever since. I love how comfortable they are, I just wish they didn't have holes in the top and sides so I could work in the kitchen safely. As for Zappos, I'm in love with their customers service. Fast shipping, easy exchanges, great to talk to on the phone. I'll definitely be ordering all of my shoes from Zappos.

I own a Hair Salon and I am on my feet 8 to 10 hours a day. I have wide feet across the ball and toes and a narrow heel. I also have a decent arch, not overly high but better than some I've seen and that was where I had my problem. I actually got a red sore across the top of my instep and if I wore them for any length of time my toes would get numb from the pressure on the nerves there. I felt the sole was quite comfortable, but with the tightness across the arch I couldn't even wear socks, which presented the problem of sweaty feet because of the rubber shoe. Any solutions for the tightness across the top of the instep? because otherwise I really liked them.

Owie, not for me. Bumps in shoe bed bothered my feet, and the croc button on the inside of the shoe rubbed the side of my foot raw, and I thought the foot bed support would be better.

I bought these for waitressing after a lot of coworkers recommended these because they are cheaper than Danskos but still comfortable. They definitely make your feet feel better than unsupported sneakers, but they still hurt my feet after several hours on them. I didn't really think they were comfortable, but just less uncomfortable than bad sneakers...they feel harder than most foot beds, which I found odd. I also found that the strap on the back was either too tight or too loose which made the shoe uncomfortable both way. I ended up buying the Danskos anyway and honestly can't see myself wearing these unless I need to wade through water or use them while gardening (if I ever pick that up). But I have never liked they way they look, so if you do they could be more useful to you.

I wore a pair of Croc Classics the whole summer and was blown away by how comfortable they were, so when the weather turned wet and cold I was looking for a pair of crocs that would keep my feet dry. While these kept my feet dry, they do not offer the same cushioning as the classic, it was very noticeable out of the box. With no venting at all my feet got a bit sweaty (my feet sweat a lot so this wasn't a fault of the crocs). The grippy sole was a problem for me, while it was nice to not slip around on surfaces like wet concrete, it picks up dirt and is impossible to get it out. It's like hundreds of tiny fingers grabbing debris. Even this I could deal with, just kick them off when I get in the house and switch to my summer pair for inside. The real problem was after a week of wearing them the grippy sole started peeling off the shoe, bummer. Zappos was great about it of course and I decided to give the Crocs Ultimate Cloud version a try. They have vents on top so water doesn't go in when you walk on the wet ground. They have pretty much the same sole as the classic, which results in a similar cushioning. Exactly what I was looking for.

These shoes are very comfortable; however, they are the ugliest shoes I have ever put on my feet. The toe box looks even wider than it does on the original Croc. I was not aware that was possible.

I like closed-toe Crocs, but really miss their original design that did not have such a tall heel. These are close, but not the same. I am hoping to like them better once I get use to the difference.

I bought this shoe to for work in the hospital setting. I likes that there are no holes as there is a possibility for exposure to bodily fluids, however, my feet sweat in them. Also, the material is much stiffer than a traditional Croc so they are not as soft and springy, and the foot nubs on the interior of the shoe are very hard and actually hurt my feet in the toe area. After wearing these for 2 shifts, I'm retiring them! I've always worn Dansko, and Ill be going back. many reviewers recommended ordering a half size down. I am a size 9 (on occasion a 9 1/2, I ordered the 9 and my toes are at the tip and my heel rubs the back. Crocs usually run a little large, not this style.

The Good: Very good shoe for food service. No laces and washable, waterproof shoe are easy to care for and just wipe clean. Comfortable shoe but I have always liked other Croc shoes so if you like Crocs you should like the the work version. Reasonably priced. The Bad: no ventilation, can get swampy but I drilled holes in the recessed and indented sides...worked for me. Also the adhesive bond used to stick the two non-skid panels onto the shoe bottom failed within 6 months but I just "superglued" them back.
