This is my 3rd pair of these shoes and I'll keep buying them as long as they make them. They are comfortable, durable and look good.

My husband wore these for our wedding. He said they were very comfortable. No breaking in needed. These added just the right amount of fun to his tuxedo!

I bought these shoes to wear to events. These are great for standing in for several hours. The leather is very stiff and will take a while to break in. I wore thick socks and they were just fine.

Doc Martin's. Wing tips. What else is there to say? The style and comfort you expect from Doc Martin!

I gave my husband these shoes as a gift. He really liked the style for casual outfits. They have a lot of cushioning. He wears a size 9.5; however, I had to get him an 8.5 (UK size). Overall they are great shoes. Love the Doc's.

These shoes you can dress up (with a suit) or dress down. Very comfortable to wear all day. Zappos was also very quick with the delivery.

I love these shoes! I normally wear a 9 wide in most all sneakers (that have wide available). I ordered a size 10 in this shoe because, as you know, Dr Martens do not come in half sizes and I was trying to compensate. They are very comfortable and I have received numerous compliments. Now...Zappos, unbelievable speed in shipping the shoes and the best customer service. I'll definitely search Zappos first, for my next Internet order. My most sincere thanks to you Zappos.

I am ridiculously enamored with the pewter patent style of these. They definitely are going to take time to break in, but hopefully that won't take too long. One other thing to consider is these don't appear to be able to breathe at all, so that might be an issue. My one complaint is that the laces that shipped with them are really flimsy and feel like they are going to snap at any moment.

Shoes true to size. Shipment on time. Nothing but pleased after wearing these for the past month.

These shoes are fantastic! I work in a men's clothing store and must wear formal shoes at all times, which is not ideal for one's feet. I have other Dr. Marten's boots and they've always left my feet feeling better after a long day, and these serve just as well, and look sharp with a nice charcoal or navy suit. Don't be put off by how light the soles appear -- when they're not backlit on a white surface they look nice and dark.

Very comfortable shoe. I'm wearing them right now as I write this. Excellent quality as I've come to expect from Doc Martens. Cool style.

I first started using Docs back in '94 and probably wore the brand through to '99. I had these very same shoes back then as well. And as many of us do, I moved on to other brands of shoes not thinking any further about Docs as a brand and well years pass. So this month I needed a good casual shoe that can go with Khaki's or denim or corduroys and like a flash I thought I'll get Docs again! So upon putting them on again three days ago, I completely forgot how comfortable they really are and couldn't believe I had been away from Docs for so long! It's a great feeling and a great buy. The overall quality and workmanship is excellent and as good as I recall from 19 years ago. Wow.

These were my first Doc Martens ever. For many years, for some reason, I thought that Docs were too narrow for me, so I never tried them. After looking for big size wing tips (14 US and usually Wides) I found these. The reviews saying they run a little big are true. Hopefully they'll stand up over time, but there was almost no breaking in time. I wore these straight out of the box for three days/evenings straight at a music festival and they felt great. I might buy some insoles which might take away the loose feel, but maybe thicker socks will do the trick when it gets cold in a few months.

Right out of the box these shoes look great. I commute to work 5 days a week in the city. So it is very important to have a shoe I can depend on. I was happy that these did not have to go through much of a breaking in period if any. They're comfortable and durable. They run a little big in case you're concerned about half sizes, which I was. Great fit! Great shoe! Looking forward to getting another pair of Docs.

When it came time to buy a new pair of work shoes I decided on Doc Martens. I had a pair of 1460 boots that lasted 15 years and where the best shoes I owned. I decided on this shoe and am so glad I did. They look really cool and I got a lot of compliments at work and they feel great. Took a little time to break in but that is standard procedure with Docs. I highly recommend these shoes for both comfort and style.

Been wearing the wingtip shoes since 1996. I actually just received my 7th pair of black wing tips which I use for work. I also have a brown and a burgundy pair both wing tips of coarse for other occasions or when I go out. I wear them till they are an eyesore to my wife but every pair has lasted me no less than three years and the only reason they become an eyesore is because i wear the bottoms out. These are great shoes and I will continue to purchase them until I retire which is still 20 years away.

I like the shoes a lot. They're a bit different, breaking the mold of the typical office shoe. They're comfortable to wear all day long. I like the trademark soft and rubbery sole of the shoe.

Be aware that Dr Martens are now made in China as opposed to England...like they were back in the days. My husband gets to rock a little of his punk rock style at work with this Docs since they're more work appropriate than the boots.

Speaking from my husband's point of view, he's in love with these shoes. We have been looking for a casual wing tip shoe for 2 years now. They are extremely well made & comfortable. True to size. Go for it, if its' what you're looking for.

I have had a pair of Doc Martens in the past, so I knew what size to get. These shoes are very stylish and durable. I work on my feet and my last pair lasted 1½ years. I still wear the original pair on the weekend. I chose this model for its style.

These are good shoes. None of that strange yellow stitching around the edge, chunky soles. Not much to the interior. I added a pair of orange Superfeet, and now the shoes seem perfect. Comfy, durable, handsome, what more could I want?

This shoe is the perfect blend of classy with its wingtip design and sturdy with all leather upper and rugged sole. It has a wider toe box than most wingtips that I have tried. The sole is a bit chunkier than I would prefer, but looks good with chinos and jeans. In my job as a high school teacher, I want to look professional, but also be comfortable. These needed very little time to break in [about 2 days]. I wear them just about everyday at work. They can really handle rain and snow too. In typical Doc Marten fashion, these shoes take a few days to break in and conform to your foot. Once they do, however, they are amazing. Much more style and appeal than standard Gibsons, and they are far more comfortable than any other longwing style shoe I could find. My entire footwear wardrobe has just been reduced to these, NB 990's, and Merrell hiking boots.
