Shoe fits good and very easy to break in

This is my second pair of Keen boots having just retired my 10 year old Newport Trails. After reading the reviews on the Voyageur Mids, I ordered a half size larger than my typical size 11. Probably a mistake as these fit a tad bit loose, but well enough and still overall extremely comfortable. Keen has always provided a wide toe box so your toes don't feel cramped. They come with sufficient padding to make this a boot you'll be comfortable wearing all day long. There a little stiff out of the box and require some break-in. After wearing for a week, I've noticed they're loosening up and fit quite well. I would say they are probably truer to size than some others have stated, but a half size larger isn't a deal breaker. If these last as long as my last pair, it's money well spent.

I haven’t worn mid ankle boots in a very longtime. These were a pleasant surprise as they are totally comfortable all around and required absolutely no breakin. I love the fit, comfort and support and will never go back to “tennis shoe” type hiking shoes. I can’t wait to put miles and miles on these magic boots. Do yourself a huge favor and get them. The fit is absolutely true to size on my pair. I wear a 10 and these are perfect. No extra room but no pinching or touching of toes at all.

Amazing boots! This is my second pair of the Voyageur keen, have tried other keen boots with no luck , these are like slippers!

Second pair, first pair are still serviceable after twelve plus years. Bought them because they are NOT waterproof, so my feet do not get too hot. Love the large toe box, the top lace clips and all day comfort. I put my first pair through hell and they are survivors, buying the second pair was a no brainer.

Wow! I can't believe I've waited so long before trying a pair of Keen hiking boots. It's a bulky shoe but light on your feet and comfortable on the steepest of hikes. They have kept my feet dry too.

I am LOVING these boots! I am normally a size 10, medium width... Prior experience with the Keen brand caused me to order 10.5 and these fit like a charm! I am somewhat flat-footed and the arch support is perfect for my flat feet. The width is perfect for my B-C foot. The toebox is nice and square, so plenty of room for my toes to wiggle and be comfy. My advice: order .5 to 1.0 size larger than your street shoes and enjoy the comfort and superior traction in snow!

Got these for my son to wear since he's on his feet all day. He said they were VERY comfortable; unfortunately they seem to run a half-size too small. Now he's looking at other Keens to see which one he'd live most. Thanks, Zappos, for your awesome service.

True to length and width, comfortable

Fantastic boot, worn them hiking in the desert and in the snow in NYC. Good support and breathes well. Though utilitarian, still very presentable in jeans.

Bought these for our teenager son to hike in. He really likes them. However, they were too long and going down the mountain, his toes would hit the front of the shoe and they were bruised. (Yes, they went down the mountain fast, more than once.) Other than that, they are breathable, which is great!! He has a regular width, but his foot is bit thicker height wise, and these shoes fit well that way.

Read reviews order a half size larger than you wear. These boots are well vented and are very comfortable the first time you wear them. Plenty of room in the toe and ball area. They look good and are well constructed.

These are my go to boots for everyday wear. From walking the dog to working in the yard, I love these boots. Though may be an issue for some, I like that these boots are on the wide side as I need a bit more room in he width. The only issue I have is wear of the heel as I walk a lot on concrete. I would like for to come up with a sole that would wear better without sacrificing comfort.

This is my first pair of Keen's and I'm instantly surprised by the comfort. No break-in required, felt amazing sockless when I tested inside. So far have only worn on a 4 mile hike, they were very comfortable, breathable even on a chilly afternoon and feel pretty light on my size 15s.

Simply Wonderful!!

Great for everyday hiking and moderate trail conditions. Not too heavy and breathable so your feet stay comfortable. They are a bit wide for traditional inserts, but buying a 1/2 size up and using Superfeet insoles have worked well for me. My only grip is not with the boots, but with Keen themselves. I bought a different model of Keen boots, (Targhee II), online and the heel cup was defective as it was curved inward and dug into my ankle, causing blistering. Keen refused, (rudely), to honor the warranty even though I had only worn the boots twice. So, while I highly recommend these boots for comfort, quality and style, don't expect Keed to have your back if you happen to have any problems with them.

color was super dark, but nice. Keens are the best for both work (utility) and hiking. Would recommend.

Bought these for my husband who works on his feet all day and he said they felt like clouds. They are his 3rd pair of Keens and we will continue to buy their boots!

Right out of the box I wore these boots 8-9 hours. I damaged my left ankle badly a few months back and needed a shoe with that was not too heavy but that would provide support for my ankles. The Keen Voyager Mid did exactly that. I'm very pleased.

I wanted to wear these boots for a year before I reviewed them, and after walking/hiking well over a hundred miles in them I give them 5 stars with a few caveats. My shoe size is 10.5 but I found that size to be too tight in the toe box and exchanged them for an 11 which fit perfectly. I replaced the insoles with leather ones from Foot Smart which had arch supports and metatarsal pads. The need for the other insoles was due to the anatomy of my feet rather than any flaw in the design of the boot. In reviewing the boot I said that it didn't have arch support, but no shoe has enough arch support for me. All of my foot wear needs additional arch support. With the addition of the insoles the boots are now some of the most comfortable shoes that i own. The soles show no signs of wear with the exception of a small nick due to probably stepping on a piece of broken glass. The uppers, aside from being dusty and some splashes of mud, also show no signs of wear. The boots give excellent ankle support especially when walking over loose rock.

Excellent fit - excellent support. I wear a 9 but bought a half-size larger to wear with thicker socks. This works perfectly. They are lightweight and grip well on the moderate terrain I've been on so far. Only had them a few weeks & am curious to see how they hold up in a tropical climate (which seems to be harder on the adhesives used to attach the soles rather than the wear & tear from use). I'd buy them again!

These are great boots and look fantastic on the foot! I bought a pair for my husband and son in January and February of 2013. They love them and wore them to death, so I recently bought them another! Both wear size 11.5, but my husband's foot is wider, and the size 12 fits perfectly. They described them comfortable right out of the box, with no break-in time. The compliments have been numerous. They hope this style will never be discontinued!
