I had a pair from 2009 that were built much better. Seems quality went down and price went up on these. They just fit my big, very wide feet (size 13). I will only use them in the house where the older pair was more capable of outside use. I don't think these will last anywhere near the time the older pair did. I'm keeping the box and receipt cause they may have to go back in a few months. I kept them only because I really needed something right now and couldn't find anything locally.

The sandals are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the velcro strap is not designed in a way that it will stay closed completely on my foot. I would look for a different style next time.

1) Good looking and comfortable, but they have a slippery footbed with no heel cupping to stop you from sliding off of them. I love wearing these until I back up on the carpet and suddenly I'm wearing one slide and not the other. Often, my foot will slide off sideways, too, which is super annoying and could be dangerous in some situations (like on a boat!). If you want these to stay on, especially with socks, you have to strap them down so tightly that they're uncomfortable. 2) Velcro closure can also come partly undone, which is annoying but no big deal. 3) Porous fabric footbeds absorb sweat so they smell bad eventually and have to be washed, and they don't dry quickly. Overall, a comfortable slide that's just not secure.

Best sandals I’ve ever owned

These are the second pair that I have bought for my husband, and overall they are the perfect chill out sandal. Once again purchasing from Zappos online was a pleasure!

I purchased these for my husband which replaced an older identical pair. He likes them a lot and wears them to many places.
