Ready to walk - I purchased these shoes for our 6th Avon Breast Cancer Walk. From the minute I took them out of the box, I could tell they were perfect for my long walk. I have worn them every day since I took them out of the box.

Thump up - Excellent Walker felt good the moment I stepped in. There is plenty of toe room. Thanks Zappos for one more excellent shopping experience you are number one.

Walked 2 1/2 miles the first day - These shoes are great! I have some foot problems such as arthritis and a neuroma. I have been wearing Gel-Kayano shoes for several years with no problems. This new pair was terrific on a long walk the first time I put them on. I ordered an 8 1/2 for a perfect fit. I normally wear a 7 1/2 or 8 in other shoes.

Loving My Asics Gel Walkers - Arrived the next day, worn immediately, instant comfort, Couldn't be better. Pleasure to deal with Zappos. Wish I had heard of them sooner.

New sneaks - These shoes are really good looking. They feel narrower than marked but not bad.

Great shoes - I find these shoes provide great comfort and support for walking. I do a lot of Nordic walking in them, but also normal walking doing errands, and find I forget I am even wearing shoes. Another web site said these run small, and recommended ordering a size larger, but I found my usual 9 1/2 narrow fit perfectly. They look good as well.

Happy Feet - I had ankle surgery a few years ago, and I also have marked pronation and very flat feet. Needless to say, I have a great deal of difficulty with shoes. These Asics are the best! I find myself wearing them almost everywhere. They have an excellent arch support and they fit my very narrow heel. There is plenty of room in the toe box. On top of all that, they are nice looking. My feet and I are very happy!

GREAT WALKER - Have always run in the Kayano, so why not try the Walker? GREAT selection for wide feet. Good Toe box, and as always, VERY stable and feels like a comfy ride, every time.

Walk on... I have some issues with my back so I'm very picky about the shoes I wear. I have worn the Asics Gel-Kayano running shoes to run in for years and I've been looking for a good walking shoe. I didn't realize until a couple weeks ago that they made a walking shoe. All I can say is I wish I would have known sooner!! I really enjoy them.

Great for wide feet - I love these shoes. I needed a wide pair of sneakers to accommodate bunions. I use to wear only New Balance but the New Balance walkers seem to wear out so quickly. I did take the advice of others and order a size up - I normally wear a 9.5 but got a 10 and they fit great.

Luscious - I bought these in pearl/silver/chocolate. They are so beautiful I don't want to get them dirty. I bought a 1/2 size smaller shoe than I usually do with athletic shoes. I took out the insoles and put in my orthotics. These shoes are incredibly comfortable. I need a lot of arch support, and these are terrific. Like most ASICS I have tried, the heel is narrow and the toe box rather wide-perfect for my feet.

Gel-Kayano Walkers are sooo comfortable! I had in the past worn running shoes, but since I mostly walk, I decided to give the walking shoe a try. Of course I received my pair from Zappos in one day and boy was I glad I did! The Walker 7 is more cushiony and comfortable than any of my past running shoes and I can even do a little jogging in them if I want to. I have a narrow foot and the narrow size fit me perfectly! They are very lightweight, too... Two thumbs up!

Asics Gel-Keyano - These shoes fit true to size. I am training for a breast cancer walk of 26 miles and these are very comfortable and have plenty of support.

Review of the Gel-Kayano Walker - These shoes are not worth the price! They run 1 full size smaller than what I've worn in other sneakers. (Zappos was kind enough to exchange them for me) The toes are narrow. The support is good, but not any better than other Asics or New Balance walking shoes. And the white mesh is absolutely filthy just from normal wear (I've had them about 3 weeks). So save your money and don't buy this shoe!!

Narrow feet - For women with narrow feet. I bought these for walking about 2 miles per day. Really comfy. I wear 9AAA, but bought 9.5 AA. Finally found some that were not too wide and fit pretty well in the heel. I wished they were a little plainer but fit was more important.

Gel Kayano Walker 7- Brown, Pink & Pearl - These are great walking shoes, then run pretty true to size, I had ordered up a 1/2 size after reading the reviews, wish I had stuck to the 10 1/2, but, with thicker socks, they work. My only objection is the "pearl" finish on parts of the shoe, which the picture really didn't show. It's very "plastic or vinyl" feeling, not really complementary to the shoe, in my opinion. I just wonder how well that part of the shoe will hold up with wear & tear. Not a big deal, but, if the look matters to you, you might want to think about the white-white-blue ones instead. Zappos is so awesome; once again, I'm blown away with the quick shipping- thanks for the great service.

Relief - Having problems with my feet all my life and now worse than ever I have to go for comfort over looks. These are very comfortable for me. I wear size 8AA in most shoes, but need a 9AA in Asics.

Got the shoes and are enjoying them very much. I have had back surgery in the past and I needed a good pair of shoes.

Good Walker - Gets the job done. Medium protection and padding. Good size toe box, no pinching.

Review of Asics Gel-Kayano Walker 7 - I have numerous foot problems--neuroma’s, heel spur, wide feet across the front and long toes that need room. I am always looking for a wide enough toe box that gives me some wiggle room. This pair has it. I ordered my true size and a pair 1 size up if I want to wear thicker socks &/or my orthotics.

Disappointment - After reading a number of good reviews for the ASICS Gel Kayano Walker 7, I anxiously awaited their arrival - which was the next day because of Zappos unbelievable delivery system! I have worn Brooks for a number of years, but wanted to try something new. I ordered a size 10 narrow. (I wear 10 narrow in Brooks, also.) How does the shoe fit? Well, my toes have plenty of room which is good. However, I can't tie the shoes tight enough to stop them from slipping on my heels. They are simply too wide in the ankle/heel area and are, therefore, uncomfortable for walking. I didn't return them, because I thought by wearing them a few days, they would adjust to my feet and it would work out okay. Not so. I wear them around the house and for errands, etc., but often revert back to my old Brooks for long walks. I keep wondering if I had ordered a 9.5 narrow if they would have fit better. The shoe is really good looking though!

The shoe is a little bit boxy. I usually wear the Gel Kayano running shoes, even though I don't run, I usually just walk. That is what I will buy next time. The tongue in this shoe keeps slipping to the side.

Not the best shoe for my foot - This was the first time I was trying an Asics brand after hearing so much about their shoes in general. I have problems with pain around the balls of my big toes (on both feet). The feet did not hurt when I wore it around the house. And I was excited by the new shining shoes. I took a walk outside on the pavement and that’s when the balls of my feet hurt. And when I wear Nike running shoes, it does not hurt. In fact I changed into my old Nike shoes and they were perfect... no pain. I will be returning this. Maybe for my foot the best bet is still a good running shoe.

The only pair of ASICS I've ever had trouble with - These Walkers blister my heels very badly. I've been wearing ASICS for 20 years and have never had a problem with any of them before. I'm not sure why these are a problem.

If you have a tendency to pronate, these shoes do not counterbalance.
