Not quite right - The boot is well-made and looks very nice in the box. However it was too wide for my calf (I have thin legs). With jeans tucked in, the scrunchy part looked strange towards the bottom of my calf; it had these pointy folds at the bottom that jutted out too much. However this may all be due to the thinness of my calves, so take my review with a grain of salt. Perhaps if you have thicker calves they will look fine on you. PS I love Zappos, their service is terrific.

Comfy casual - Soles are very flat with no arch support, like walking in your bare feet on the side walk. I had the shoemaker add a little heel and now love them.

Returned them already - The fit was great, the style was great BUT the black dye rubbed off on my hands when putting them on and even onto the jeans I was wearing them with. I returned them the next day!

They didn't look quite right. I'm sad to say that these boots did not quite fit right on my leg. I think they were too tight around my calf and so were not able to properly "slouch". They do look true to the picture, but didn't work for me. Thanks to Zappos for the quick return.

Leg too big - I saw these shoes in the store, and they didn't have my size so I came to Zappos and ordered them. I got them today and I was very disappointed. I normally am a size 10.5 but then never have it so I just get 11 and it fits fine. The leg is way too wide, it doesn’t even stay up when I’m wearing jeans under it. My legs are normal size and it falls down.

So uncomfortable! I bought these boots with hopes of a great every day boot. For a flat they are incredibly uncomfortable! My toes would ache after wearing them for a few hours and there was no support or cushion in the sole. With no traction on the sole, I would slide all over the place if the surface of the sidewalk was anything but dry. I was determined to make them work, thinking if I keep wearing them I would break them in. Nope - I'm stuck with boots I never wear.
