The 2130 has a very roomy toe box, good arch support and medium heel cup. If you have a big boxy foot, this is the shoe for you.

Great fit, great support - This is my second pair of shoes in the GT-2100 line and I am still satisfied. The shoes fit comfortably out of the box and provide a superior level of support for my feet.

Great Shoe - Best shoe I ever bought. Super comfortable! Size was perfect fit.

Simply the Best - This shoe literally brought tears to my eyes when I wore it. Just perfect... the comfort, the fit, the looks. I have low arch and my left foot is a half size or less bigger than my right and it was hard to find comfortable shoes. The 2130 has the perfect cushioning, toe room, and excellent arch support. I don't think I'll ever switch to another brand. It took me over a month looking for the perfect comfort/running shoes and I tried so many, NB, Nike, Adidas... They're so comfortable that I joked about wearing them to bed and never taking them off.

I love this shoe - This is a great shoe. I am in the gym 6 days a week, doing cardio, weights and train with a Personal Trainer. This shoe keeps me going. Very comfortable and also provides the support that is needed.

Best running shoe for the $$$- Dollar for dollar the best running shoe I've had. I'm a big guy (240 lbs) and run about 15 miles/wk in the Army and love these. Light, breathable and comfortable. I've had 3 pairs and will opt for the 2140's on my next purchase just to see if there is a significant difference. Highly recommend these.

Great shoe for the big man - Active duty army, 230 lbs. Shoe held up great. Very comfortable, light weight and breathable. I ran about 8 miles/week on average and the shoe lasted me about 6 months before I felt the cushioning start to diminish. I will be buying this shoe again.

Great shoe right out of the box, but durability concerns - I've been wearing these daily for both walking and running, about 5 - 8 miles per day for about three weeks. They are extremely comfortable right out of the box, fit my narrow foot well (narrow size), and aid in my stride in which I pronate quite a bit. They solved some knee issues I was having, which is great. However, they are already starting to lose their cushioning and support after just a few weeks… but would still recommend them.

GT-2130 - Let a couple of guys at work talk me into jumping ship (New Balance) and give Asics a try. Decided on this model due to my foot type and type of running (flat/4+miles a day). Had some foot pain at first, but found this shoe to be comfortable after about 25 miles. I guess I'm a little odd because I have a flat foot, overpronator, 5'10", 210lbs, but never really have any pain or discomfort from a normal cushion shoe until they are approximately 6 months old. I found that the extra support and overpronation control a little hard to get use to at first, but overall found this shoe to be comfortable after a break-in period (probably me and not the shoe).

Decent Shoes - Good arch support, fairly lightweight. I like the way they feel on the road. Not the biggest fan of their style, but I didn't buy them for their looks. I would recommend them.

ASICS GT-2130 - I did a lot of research on different shoes before I purchased the ASICS GT-2130 and it paid off. I love the way the shoes feel on my feet and the arch support is great. I will buy these shoes again in the future because of their quality.

GT-2130 - I have used the GT series back to the 2090, and really liked the 2110. I normally buy one size up for ASICS; however, the 2130 seems longer in design and fit. If I buy another pair, I would try true size.

This is a great shoe. I got this for my workouts (I got the black one). Once I got past the width issues (I have a wide foot but even a 4E/wide shoe barely enclosed my feet...it shows a little sock to the side of the tongue), the shoe is very comfortable and needed very little breaking in. I only really do stationary bike and weightlifting so I can't speak to how this shoe would work for more active sports like basketball or running.

I finally found a shoe that fits my 12 2E foot (with orthotics). New Balance shoes fit me as 12 2E, Asics fit as 12 4E. I checked the specs for foot size and I definitely am a 12 2E. I think the addition of the orthotic takes up the extra space. Anyway, they fit very comfortably just like the Asics 100s I had before (those were 12 4E also).

A little tight, but they broke in eventually - When I first tried them on, I was pretty sure I would send them back. They grew on me, and broke in pretty well, however. I'm a big Asics fan, but these shoes felt too small and narrow, and the arch support (although substantial) was abrupt and hurt some. As I said, either the shoes or my feet changed, and I am beginning to like them more now.

A little more narrow than expected - Overall I am pretty pleased with my new Asics. I have very wide feet and usually never buy anything other than New Balance. I decided to give this brand a try after reading the other reviews. I am pretty pleased with the comfort I get from the shoes. I don't feel fatigue as quickly as I did with some of my other shoes. The shoes are a little bit narrow for me. The width of the tongue is also small, which pulls up on the sides when I pull up on top of it during my normal lace up routine. I am satisfied with the product but I will consider a different brand in the search for a shoe that gives me the best fit in width.

ASICS GT-2130 - I've been wearing this class of Asics shoe since they were numbered 2040. Unless the company does something incredibly stupid with the design in the future, I'm confident enough about the model to wear them straight out of the box and run a marathon. The cushioning and posting fit my feet perfectly and I never blister but if you are new to the model however, I'd recommend you get fitted first. There is a question in this review about orthotics. The 2130 has arch support and unless your orthotic was designed with this particular shoe in mind, beware of using them together as they may over compensate. Remember you should buy a shoe that suits your feet not the one that fits your orthotic!

The shoes fit nicely and were very comfortable as well as light weight. The cushion was excellent and provided good shock absorbency on pavement. I recommend this shoe to all runners.

Good buy - Comfortable and serviceable. Good for yard work.

It’s a fine shoe - Good service as usual with Zappos. Shoe is overall better than New Balance that I have been buying. No fault to anyone but myself, the shoe did have a small bump on inside, opposite to arch. Maybe glue is hard, I maybe should of returned it but other than that, I love the shoe its just this one little spot. Again very good shoe.

GT 2130 - This latest version of the GT is the first one I have tried where the width was exactly as I expected. Earlier versions the width was tolerable but not comfortable like this version is.

Long-time Asics wearer approves - I have worn both the Kayanos and the 2000-series for about 6 years now. I could not wear the 2110 or 2120 because they were too big. These seem a little more true-fitting like the 2070s I started with.

Great shoes, runs a little larger then previous model - This is a very good shoe that works for a lot of different foot types. To me this update seems to run larger then the previous versions.

Pretty much as advertised - These shoes meet just about every claim Asics makes about them. Perfect stability shoe that fits with plenty of support. I would have like them to have just a bit more cushioning but they are not uncomfortable by any means.
