For a waterproof boot, my feet have never been wetter. I sent them back for a refund because that cannot be how this boot was designed. I must have gotten an ill made pair.

Boots look great, and feel wonderful. I was happy that they were made from environmentally conscious materials, and were on sale. I was happy until the first time I got the soles wet, as these boots have NO TRACTION. I've slipped on surfaces ranging from tile to asphalt with water on my soles. The only shoes I have with comparable traction issues are my old style basketball shoes. How does a company known for making amazing boots produce a model that has worse traction than dress shoes? I will be returning these boots. I'm very disappointed with my first pair of Timberland shoes. I do not know if I will be purchasing another Timberland product.

Junk we received these as a replacement for another pair that ripped after the first wear. These ripped after two weeks of wear! for the money they are awful. They haven't held up well at all. Do not spend the money on these boots.

The boots in the picture are the earth keepers from 2-3 seasons ago. I know because I owned those and loved them. When it was time for a new pair I was surprised with the difference in quality.Notice the blue "earth"keepers symbol in the heel/sockliner. In the new season's boots the earthkeeper symbol is in all white and the leather is not of the same quality as it was a few seasons ago. The picture IS NOT a fair representation of the product. Shame on Timberland for cutting production costs and ruining an all-time pair of boots.

Nice boots, but the sole fell off after a year. My Timberland Pro work boots seem to be bulletproof. I guess they don't make them the same as the casual boots.

I have never written a review on anything in my life. I did, however, feel compelled to write something on these boots. I purchased them several years ago. Possibly even 5 years ago. I wore them maybe 2 dozen times. When I wore them, it was going to football games or to work on rainy days. I never did any activities were hard on the boots. This fall I pulled the boots out of my closet and noticed the sole was totally separating from the boot. This caused the stitching to come apart. Bottom line, the sole is disintegrating and falling off the leather upper.
I contacted Timberland customer service about this issue. Again - being that I only wore the boot 2 dozen times, you wouldn't expect this to occur. They told me that I was outside the 1 year Warranty period, but I could send the boots into their Danville, KY inspection / return center for inspection. 3 weeks go by, and they send me my old broken boots back saying there is nothing they can do. They claim that it was determined the materials weren't at "fault", and being that I was outside their 12 month period there is nothing they can do. They didn't even offer up a, "sorry for your inconvenience, we value you as a customer, here is 25% off your next purchase". I have been a longtime Timberland customer, but am sorry to say I will never buy another Timberland product. I'm not even that upset about the boots. I'm upset at the terrible way they treat their customers and fail to stand behind their products for more than 12 months. I have boots that are 20 years old! Give me a break Timberland.

The inside lining fell apart within the first 2 months. That works out to $3 per day of wear. Wish I'd listened to the other reviews that said they fell apart quickly.

Boots are completely falling apart 4 months into use. Sole is separating at toe, stitching at seems are ripping, tread is gone. Good looking and comfortable but not for anything beyond a date night.

THESE BOOTS ARE NOT WATERPROOF. 5 minutes in the rain and my feet were soaked. The entire purpose for buying these was to have a waterproof light hiking boot that doesn't stand out if I wear it to the office. There are plenty of other boots out there that are equally not waterproof and look significantly better, so I would absolutely not recommend this boot. It is a full size larger, so if you still want this boot knowing that it is not waterproof, be sure to order up. I wear a 12, and an 11 was large enough for my size 12 insoles to fit without trimming.
