Just ordered too big

These boots look great and are better for the environment than others, but that about all the Pros. I've worn mine about 30times and the bottoms are falling off. The fit is way off. I even went down a size like the associate suggested and they are so loose once they broke in. Very disappointed.

These are good looking boots but are not true to size and will stretch and wear quickly.

The boots looked very nice, but were just a little darker and less stylish that they looked in the picture. Other friends liked them, but it wasn't the style I was hoping they would be as they looked a little more grungy than the picture.

Unfortunately I'll be returning these boots. I purchased them as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, who goes through a metal detector at his job. The description advertised the boots as "airport friendly", but these did not pass security. I'm very disappointed because overall they seem to be great boots.

No exchanges, need to buy a new pair to replace and mail back, waiting for credit

These shoes look great but do run about a 1/2 size too big. They have a rugged look but a soft fee.l

Laces already falling apart after a week of wear. Some of the cuts that add style to the boot are uneven and easily distressed after a week. Not typical quality I expect from my fifth pair.

Not true to size at all. They run large. I paid overnight shipping and had to return them and won't get Reimbursed for the extra shipping

I have had two pairs now of these boots. first was in a desert suede. Second was in brown leather. Both pairs of boots look great and are very comfortable straight out of the box. The down side is these boots wear out on the soles and heels long before the uppers come near to wearing out. If you wear these boots every day then within 6-9 months I reckon the heel/ sole is worn. 9-12 months and they will become unwearable due to uneven soles/ heels. These boots look great with any outfit and the more you wear these boots the more the upper becomes more comfortable. However the soles and heels you can just forget about. I now have two pairs of what are awesome boots, with years left in them. But need to find someone to put new heels and soles on. When I do that then booyah!

I wanted a stylish brown boot that I could wear in the rain or snow and then wear into a restaurant in the city. These are clunky, plain-looking, and the treads are too large. There's not much style. They don't look like the picture online. The Leather is smooth and plain; in the picture the leather has texture. The lace holes are not shiny like they are in the picture. I'm returning them.

I love them except...after about two months some stitching came apart, not too bad, livable. When the soles started separating is when I started to be disappointed. VERY, VERY comfortable and stylish! I love the way the leather ages. I rated it three stars until I see what Timberland is going to do about it.If they make it right and do something about the obvious defect, I'd be more than happy to give them 5 stars!

The boots fit great out of the box which is to be expected with the softer leather. That said, the sole wore out after a year or so of casual use. I understand the Earthkeeper is eco-friendly; however, boots of this price/caliber (Timberland) should last several seasons. Had them re-soled by a recommended shoe repair shop yet the gum sole could not be replicated.
