I LOVE these boots! Once fall hits I wear them all the time. Good comfort and all around good looking boot! They go good with khakis or jeans. Personally, I like wearing them with khakis. I would buy these boots again, just cause!

I really like these boots. I haven't put a ton of wear on them yet, but so far they seem durable, comfortable, and stylish. They run very large. I am wearing an 8, and I usually wear a 9.5. So keep that in mind when you're buying these. But they are very comfortable. I live in Colorado and these have been pretty good on ice, ground, light hiking, etc. They are very good all around shoes. Maybe not blizzard boots or appropriate for hiking a serious mountain, but great for every day wear, and comfortable in most conditions. Also, Zappos killed it again with the shipping, returns (when I bought too large), and customer service.

Super comfortable boots. I normally wear a 10.5 in loafers, and a 10 was right on the money for me with these boots. Would recommend these to friends.

Very stylish and run very big. I have to wear thick socks or two pairs when I hike. The original description on here labeled them as "waterproof" only to find out the tongue isn't attached all the way up and they're "water resistant" only. I still kept them as they're sharp looking and comfy, but Zappos needs to be a little more thorough with their descriptions.

Bought these boots about 5 years ago and now feel comfortable writing a review of them. Right out of the box they felt great. Little to no break-in period. I bought them for casual wear on the occasion I needed a boot and not an oxford or sneaker and they were clearly suited for this. Other users complained that they didn't hold up under rugged and stressful conditions and I can see why though also believe these boots weren't intoned for job sites for example. If you're looking for a working boot, these are not for you. Currently the leather is rich and butter and forms perfectly to my foot. I periodically wipe them down and apply saddle soap and occasionally a dark brown polish. They've weathered and held up extremely well. Only downside, and a slight one at that, is I wish I'd bought them in a shorter height. I believe they made them at the time, and may still, but I'm not sure.

I have not worn these enough to comment on the overall comfort and wear; however, the sizing definitely runs large. I normally wear a size. 12 w and ended up with an 11 w. Overall they look good and should work out fine.

I love the look of these boots and they are sooooo much lighter than my daily work boot. However, the build quality is a bit on the poor side. I've worn them about 5-6 times and the tread near the ball of my feet are nearly gone. I mostly drive from a-b so I'm not doing a large amount of walking in these for the amount of wear they have received.

I have had this boot for 4 years and wear it about 2 out of 5 days a week to work. I would highly recommend this boot to someone looking for a comfortable boot that shows off your lifestyle of liking the outdoors. However, I would NOT recommend this boot as a hiking or "work" boot for industrial jobs. There is not much support for spending all day on your feet. The sole has a lot of give and cushion to it, because of this it wears quickly but I think it's worth the comfort. Great shoe for an office job / traveling / around campus. Mine have held up extremely well as far as construction goes, no problems there. Ankle support is great. I typically wear a 14D boot, These are 13's and fit great so they are sized a little roomy.

Although these boots are pretty pricey, they are definitely worth it! The dark brown style is rustic and very fashionable. I wish that they were a little more comfortable in the sole area of the boot, but I'm still really pleased with my purchase.

Very comfortable and nice looking. Broke in very quickly. As others mentioned, they run big, so you need a little luck to pick just how much smaller than usual to go.

More of a dress up shoe, but really nice. Definitely get a size or a size and a half lower than normal. I wear size 10 1/2 and should have got at least a 9 1/2. Still a very nice shoe.

Very comfortable for me, minimal arch and one of the only boots that have actually felt bigger than the size on the box (11 wide). Plenty of toe room and plenty of width, I can even wear thick wool socks.

Overall good, but the sole separates at the toe when you wear them in the snow. Returned two pairs ( that zappos was great about for the same reason). I finally had to gorilla glue the sole at the toe and have been great ever since.

Super stylish rugged boot -- that is rugged for a stylish boot, not stylish for a rugged boot. The color is great, just a hair darker than the photo. Difficult color to maintain without darkening the leather. Finishing for the most part is pretty good. This boot runs at least a half-size large, I would order 1/2 and 1 size down and keep the best fit. The Timberland insole provided is inferior; replace with a quality insole -- one that cups the heel a bit more -- and you'll find fit & comfort improves markedly. Difficult boot to get on without a shoe horn unless you are the type to only lace a boot halfway.

Great boot. I have a wide foot and it's been very hard finding a wide, waterproof boot. These are very comfortable but run about a size too large. Also, the only downside is that I wish the tongue was gusseted; it seems like an obvious choice for a waterproof boot.

While I've only had it for a month so far, this has been a great, very lightweight yet rugged, and great-looking boot. I agree that it runs about 1 size large. No complaints at all, so far.

Comfy, little hard to put on laced up. Feels great once on, very flexible material. I wear a size 14 and these didn't feel like wearing heavy boots at all.

These were my first and only pair of Timberland boots. I really like these boots, but I was disappointed that the stitching came loose on the tongue. I'm really considering buying a new pair, but I am hesitant because of my experience with the first pair.

I've purchased these 3 times. The first version were fully waterproof.. A thick piece of leather connected the tongue and inner boot. Second version was completely detached. Hence no water proof.3 no

Everything is perfect with these boots except one huge con......the soles should be stitched instead of glued to the leather. With anything other than just casual and normal walking usage the soles separate from the leather within 6 weeks. This has happened on both pair I have purchased.

Held up well to occasional use, soles fell apart quickly when I started wearing them more often. I've had to superglue both soles multiple times at this point. No help from Timberland customer service

Size down! I love/hate these boots. They look good, but they're stiff as a board. They're huge. If it fits like a 9.5 then why call it an 8.5? Ridiculous. But I wore them so can't return.

The negative is they don't look like the pictures at all.
The positive is they are the most comfortable pair of boots I own.
