My legs don't hurt anymore - I absolutely love these shoes...They hurt a little and had some small blisters till I broke them in. I have wide feet and these shoes cup around your feet, so that's the reason for the blisters...My legs don't hurt anymore since I have been wearing these shoes. Styles could be better and the shoe could become a little cheaper. The suede shoes are bigger because the straps are looser...I needed to put new holes in them. I have 10 prs...I really like them...

Birkenstock Arizona Evaluation - Very lovely shoe. It is comfortable and a very nice looking shoe.

Good work Zappos - Great product and service. My son usually wears an 11 which we ordered, but shoe is about a half size too big. But not a big deal.

Birkenstock - These shoes are awesome. They are really comfy and go with anything I wear. They are good for special occasions at my club. Zappos delivers in 24 hours it doesn't get any better than that.

Very comfy - I suffer with heel spurs & find the Arizona has a wonderful arch support...I have an older pair that I still wear. I now have a change which makes me comfortable all day…

Beautiful Birks - Best fitting shoe out there. I like the "extra" high arches, they feel heavenly!

It helps me walk without limping. I have no cartilage in my knee and continually walk in pain--unless I'm wearing my Arizona's. They put my foot in a position that doesn't irritate my already inflamed knee. I plan to get another pair when I have the money.

Usual Birkenstock--comfortable and high quality - This is my husband's second pair of this style. He wears them all the time--summer and winter--and loves them. He doesn't need any break-in time, unlike me, and I think he would wear them to church if I would let him.

Finally found a comfortable shoe! I bought these Birks for my boyfriend. He usually buys his shoes too big because he doesn't like to feel shoes on his feet. I bought the 11-11.5 and they fit beautifully and he loves the way they feel.

Flower children - My very first pair of Birkenstock sandals was purchased at a heath food store on a corner in Berkeley California in the mid-1970s. When I would venture east to visit family, people would stare at my feet, wondering why I was wearing such strange looking shoes. My answer was: "so that I can walk properly." Having worn them for 30 years is a pretty great endorsement for them. I recently ordered a pair in olive green - green is good for the planet. Peace, love & flowers, Ms. L.I.N.

An old favorite - I have two pairs of these (in different colors). Sliding my feet into the cool smooth foot beds of my older pair, perfectly conformed to my feet after 13 years of wear, is one of the sublime pleasures of summer. I'll have them re-soled soon. They're worth it.

Birkenstock Arizona - The shoe is especially comfortable but if the heel and the toe groove do not line up perfectly with your foot, it isn't too comfortable to spend hours standing in.

Loved 'Em - I've been wearing Birks since '88. I just recently had three pairs re-soled. I rarely wear anything else. Zappos is awesome. My order arrived VERY quickly. I am very happy.

Great Shoes - Have many styles of Birkenstocks, Love the Arizona's worked many years as a nurse and wore the white clogs. Saved my feet and straighten toes that were becoming shoved over due to the poor fit of regular pointed non user friendly shoes.

Wearing the Arizona - Cool and convenient

I don't know the techie terms to say about this excellent shoe, but I do love it! And I think it has helped my back. Hopefully, the more I wear them, the better it will be. I've often thought the pronation of my ankles/arches were the cause of my back/knee problems. So we will see. These shoes are great. I put them on out of the box and have worn them since. They feel a little strange, but nice and I will get used to them. My only complaint is this is the nly color they come in! BIRKENSTOCK: Please make more and in different colors!

I believe that these sandals will be OK. The straps run a little big and I have had to put in extra holes. The verdict is still out on whether I will find these sandals as comfortable as I would like.

My job requires me to be constantly walking for about six hours a day. We have no strict dress code and I was often wearing flip-flops to work. Needless to say, at the end of the day my feet were miserable and so was I. I absolutely had zero intention of wearing closed shoes in the Tallahassee heat, but I definitely needed support for my high arches. I found all that and more in these Birkenstocks. I wear them all day long and I feel almost no discomfort at the end of the day. It did take me a bit to get used to the weight of the shoe, and I sometimes feel that the straps could be a bit more snug (and my feet are not narrow in any way) but it is not a deal breaker by any means. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and I would highly recommend these shoes.

These shoes are pretty comfortable. I ordered the high arch because I have a lot of foot problems and I was hoping the arch would give the support I needed. While they do help, it doesn't correct my excessive pronation as much as other shoes such as my orthopedic flip flops.

These are great. It is so hard to find sandals with arch support. I marked these down only because they don't come in anything but suede. I would buy more if they had other options. Some birks don't have long enough straps to go over my foot but these I wear on the smallest buckle holes. Plenty of room.

These are my old favorites and I was due for a new pair. I had never gotten high arch but these are much wider than the regular medium width that I always wear. I must have about 15 pairs of size 42 medium Birks but this style is significantly bigger. Order narrow if you usually wear medium.

As I have aged, my feet have flattened. I used to have very high arches. Since I was a boy, it has been my practice to shed my socks and shoes as soon and often as possible once the winter chill is gone. I live in the city now and discovered the Arizona High Arch Birkenstock a few years ago. These are great if you walk a great deal and need arch support - as I do - and are no longer able to walk barefoot, with or without socks. Because my feet have flattened so much, I had to have a cobbler punch in one more set of holes for the buckles, so the sandals fit snugly. These are great sandals that last a few seasons if properly cared for.

I just received my pair of Birks and I'm not very happy. I got my usual size of shoes and they are waaay too big for me. My feet don't stay in the shoe when I try to walk. Returning them soon and getting a smaller size, and probably a different style as well. I thought I would need the high arches but they are much higher than I thought they would be.

I find that Birkenstock does not have very good quality control. The texture of this pair is different from the previous pair I was replacing.
