This bag is super cute, but I’ve had a few problems with it. First, I do wish it could be worn on either shoulder. I picked this bag up because I often had back pain from my purse. The bag didn’t seem to help the pain, but I feel like if I could switch shoulders throughout the day it would help. (Honestly though, I could probably carry less stuff!) The second issue I had is a rip where the zipper is sewn on to the small front pocket. The fabric pulled away from the zipper, though the pocket was not stuffed and it shouldn’t have happened so quickly. I reached out to Kavu and they replaced the bag, downside is they didn’t have the same pattern and I ended up with on that I just don’t like as much.

I chose this bag to take on vacation to Alaska. It is handy because it is compact, and lightweight. I could fit my iPad in the larger side. I like the two sided feature. The strap was convenient. My biggest complaint is the external pockets are fairly useless. That was frustrating.

So close! This bag is close to perfect except one huge flaw - it is not for heavy use. I've had mine for only a few days, and I can already see the rope starting to unravel. It's a shame, because if Kavu could fix this, it would be beyond a doubt the perfect bag. It's comfortable, stylish, unique, and has oodles of space. It also stays on very well, which is a blessing for those of us with small shoulders or who need our hands free for wrangling small children (or pets). Please, Kavu, remake this bag with better ropes (and while you're at it, add maybe two more inner pockets and bigger outer pockets). Pretty please? If you do, I'll happily pay $10+ more a bag and buy 3, because I've yet to find a bag that fits so well and holds so much while looking so neat (and I've been looking for years). It was so close to awesome, I'm nearly in tears while packing mine up to return to Zappos.

Bought this for college but it's too flat and small. Will return it. Obviously this is designed for female (or skinny guys).

What I like about the bag is that it goes over the shoulder to leave hands free. It is roomy; I can take my wallet and fit my somewhat large camera in it so I don't have to lug an extra bag with me. What I don't like is that the 2 outer pockets are way too small for cell phone or much of anything else.

I’ve been loving this bag! I bought it because I wanted something smaller than my normal backpack that could still hold my DSLR camera, wallet, phone, sunnies, etc. I’m nannying in the mountains and this works for me perfectly! I do wish it had a space on the outside for a water bottle.

I got this bag to wear primarily when biking to hold the few things that I would need to have on me while riding around town. I have been using it for almost a year now and I love it. The bag is pretty spacious for such a small size, and I can fit my camera, phone, wallet, keys & sunglasses in there no problem. The strap is definitely the best part of the bag, it is very stylish, comfortable, and keeps the bag nice and snug. I constantly get compliments about the bag, especially the bungee strap. I have the camel colored bag, and the color is nice and rich and complimented nicely with the navy blue lining. It is perfect for a hands-free bag when biking or walking around. It is highly recommended!

Love this bag! I am a college student,love to travel, and running around the park with nieces and nephews and dog. Just right to keep me hands free while at the park with the kiddos and dog and keep snacks in. Can throw my Nikon in when I am traveling, plus comfortable trekking across campus.

Almost perfect bag. Fits snugly when packed, attractive color, love the rope strap strong and spaces between lend it hanging when retrieving contents. Overall very happy with this sling bag. It is very difficult to find a good sling bag and the Kavu rope bag fits the bill.

This bag is made of sturdy canvas fabric and has a wide shoulder strap that can support it's weight. I like the bag and carry it everyday, I would just change a couple of things on design. The 2 front pockets barely hold anything. A iPhone in a Otterbox will not fit into either pocket. There is only 1 zipper pocket inside the bag, so everything falls to the bottom of purse into two long compartments that run down each side. For traveling purposes and safety issues: the strap has a plastic clip where the bag could be released from behind and snatched off you. Traveling abroad this could be a problem? I really wanted to love this bag! I like the look and feel of it, I just think it could be designed a whole lot better.

The only problem with this bag is that the space for the cell phone is too small. No iPhone or smartphone will fit. This is really poor design.

This Kavu Rope bag is awesome. Rad, hella stylish and rockin fun to use everyday for everything. I love this style sling backpack because it’s light, comfortable and has many compartments. After owning one, I now own 5 in different patterns and colors. The neon yellow green is so bright and goes with every color one wears. Instead of matching the walletI I bought from Kavu, I got a bright pink. The two colors make me smile. Go for this bag. Compliments from strangers abound comes when wearing this Kavu Rope bag.

This is a great bag. Holds enough for little overnight trips or a quick hike.

This is my 3rd Kavu bag and I have enjoyed each of them. This is probably the cutest one yet! My daughter carries one as well.

Pretty sturdy and colors are true to the picture provided. The zipper pocket will fit a smart phone even if the “cell” pocket doesn’t.

love my new bag! this is not my first kavu bag, I have several and I enjoy all of them. the cute popsicle design on this one is so fun for summer! the colors are vibrant and the sling design is comfortable to carry.

I absolutely love this Kavu ( I have ten others!); of all my Kavu bags, this one is the MOST organized— pocket on outside of bag fit my iPhone ( 6 plus) perfectly, and the outside pocket is for car keys—- this bag is Awesomeness ????
