These were so comfortable right out of the box! I am usually a 9 and that's what I ordered and they fit perfectly. Also, my feet tend to be wider so my fear was that these would be narrow in a medium - but again - they are perfect. There is a nice little arch support - not a lot - but enough so that the foot bed is rendered very comfortable. These are really sharp looking loafers, well-made, that can be worn with anything. Thanks Zappos for your excellent service!

I wear a 10 but based on the reviews I ordered a 91/2. My big toe is all the way against the shoe so I'm sending them back. Other than that, they seem to be well made. Not very comfortable out of the box.

Completely satisfied - I was looking for a different name brand when I came across this shoe. I wasn't sure I would like these as well. The other brand I’ve been buying since high school. I keep a pair of penny loafers for casual - around the office wear these are perfect.

Just received them tonight and have worn them two hours. Tomorrow at work will be the true test.

I'm a true size 7 with somewhat wide feet due to bunions and preferring to use my own arch inserts. I ordered the 7W. The shoe was way too narrow for my feet, but the length seemed ok. The leather is very stiff - not sure if that will ease up in time, but I couldn't handle my toes being that crushed even for a short amount of time. The leather and stitching seems high quality and very attractive. The insoles do not seem removable.

The way tighter than it says but they are so stylish that it ALMOST makes up for it. I still bought another pair because they look that good, but I bought a shoe stretcher!

Love Zappos! Tried to love these, but I returned the first pair in my normal size, didn't fit; returned and ordered half size down, and they don't fit me - too long, too loose. They are easily a half to full size larger than labeled. Quality was not very good either; I would not purchase if they were over a certain price.

Wow I really liked the feminine look of this loafer so since they went on sale I purchased two pairs. I could dress it up and wear it with my dresses, skirts, and suits, and dress it down with my jeans. The only problem I had was with the sizing of the black pair it took me three tries to finally get the right size with this shoe. I normally wear a 8 M so reading the reviews I got a 8 W and the shoe was too short so I exchanged it for am 8.5 M and that one was too narrow. When I ordered the 8.5 W in the cordo color that one fit great so once the 8.5 W became available in the black I ordered it and it is PERFECT. I really appreciate the way Zappos handled my returns and exchanges. It seems like this shoe is cut more for a person with an narrow foot because I have a medium foot and I had to get it in a wide because I did not want to wear tight shoes. Thanks

Beautiful shoe but painfully narrow for my C width foot. Many B width shoes work for me but not this one. If your foot is narrow, this shoe is a classic beauty.

Shoe looked great, but I'm a standard women's 9 with average width. As soon as I took it out of the box I knew it was small - I barely was able to fit my foot into the shoe. This was clearly a fully size too small. What I can't really tell is if the width was also far too narrow or if it was the right length then maybe the width would fit properly too. I'm glad I sat this through because I almost just ordered a 9.5 wide, whereas I think I really need a full size 10, but in a medium width.

I ordered the Plaza in a 9.5 and 10 after reading reviews. The shoe is nicely made and looks good--the penny loafer of my youth! However, the 9.5 (my usual size) was at least 1 size too large, and too wide, especially in the heel which slipped terribly. It was very stiff, also especially in the heel area. Too bad. I liked the look.

These are well made shoes but incredibly stiff when you try them on. I am returning them because I know that I'd have blisters in multiple places after wearing them for a day. They also very closely resemble shoes my father wore with his suits and not in the "fashionable menswear" way that is in lately.

I am trying a third pair. These will be one full size larger then I normally wear. I hope these fit. I have always loved penny loafers.

Very stiff; these are cute looking but not very comfortable at all. They are stiff and lack any kind of cushioning. They also have absolutely no arch support. They run wide, but are probably accurate in length/size.

Very disappointed! Love the quality of the shoe and was happy that it was available in W; however, when the shoes arrived, I could not even get them on my foot. I wear either an M or a W but this was more like a N! Must return!

These shoes felt small and tight. I recommend ordering a half size up.

Cute and classic loafer. I really like how they look with jeans, but wow...terrible quality. These are going back. Stubbed my toe, more like scuffed my toe on the carpet and the front edge of the sole broke right off.

I don’t like the shoe. It is uncomfortable, the leather is not soft and flexible. I could not send it back because I tried to stretch it with shoe stretchers which still did not work.

I was really looking forward to this shoe and pleased with how quickly it arrived. And the look and style were exactly what I wanted. I usually have to buy a store bought 9 to accommodate the width of my foot, but if I can find a C width, then an 8 1/2 will fit perfectly. However, even though this shoe is stamped as an 8 1/2 C, I couldn't even get them past the ball of my feet. Ridiculously small. I don't recommend this shoe, only because the sizing is a crap shoot. I'm returning this shoe and not buying a replacement.
