Stylish work horse - This is my second pair of this style - wore the others out in many miles of business travel. These shoes go with just about anything, are low-heeled enough to be comfortable, but high enough to give you a little edge and style. Very comfortable for hiking through airports, city blocks, but look sleek in the meeting room.

Love these shoes - Stylish with good support! I have bunions and DJPs are the only shoes that don't aggravate my bunions AND that look fabulous! Thank goodness for DJP!!! And thank goodness for my AAA shoes.

Great Looking Pant Shoe - This shoe is particularly great with pants! The heel height is perfect with chinos and dressier pants for the office. When worn with a dress sock and pants, it has a rather boot-like appearance. Pair it with your favorite jeans to snazz 'em up a tad. Clean lines, sleek ... a winner!

DJP's AAA3 Review - This is a great every day shoe. Very comfortable like all of my DJP's. It looks best with opaque trouser socks, almost like a boot.

Finally a True Narrow - If you have a narrow foot, particularly in the heel, this shoe fits! I've ordered several other loafer styles, but have had to return them because they are too wide. These fit great and are very comfortable. Although they are pricey, I'll probably order them in another color. The espresso is a deep brown that looks good with black too!

Classic loafer - Great looking shoe and comes in good range of sizes. I often need a narrow, but that's because my feet are shallow (not "tall") with a low arch. These narrows are really narrow, too slim for me, but would be well suited for a true narrow (even AAA) with a higher arch. The look really suits me, but back they go.

A Comfortable Classic - This is the most comfortable loafer I have been able to find in years. It is stylish and looks great with dress slacks or jeans. I was able to wear it the entire day when I first got it without getting blisters. A true rarity for me.

Very Comfortable - This is the first time I've tried Donald J. Pliner shoes and after searching for months for the "perfect black shoe", I think I've finally found it with the AAA3. Thank you to all who left reviews as they were very helpful. The bottom line is this shoe is both comfortable and stylish. I usually wear an 8.5 or a 9. I ordered a 9 in this style and it fits perfectly. I'll wear these with skirts and tights, slacks, all of my Flax linen capri pants, and of course jeans. The price is a bit steep, but this is such a versatile, classy looking shoe, I feel it's worth the price. I'm giving away all the cheap(er) black flats that I kept buying over the years while searching for that "perfect shoe". I'm completely happy with these. I'm saving my pennies for the brown pair now!

Gorgeous & Smart - Love these shoes. Comfortable but stylish, not old looking. Great with regular or wide leg pants and jeans as well. I bought black and later, the brown. The brown are slightly too dark. You have to place them side by side to determine which pair is brown.

I JUST CANNOT WALK WITHOUT THEM! I have problems with my arch, I am flat footed. Since I discovered these shoes I just cannot be without them. Especially when I know I will be walking a lot.

THE BEST! I have been reordering these shoes over the past 5 years. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They fit well for work and for weekend wear. I hope that the designer considers them to be a "signature shoe" for his line. I certainly do.

DJP's AAA3 - Honestly wasn't sold on the looks of these shoes when seeing them via Zappos.com photographs. Their multiple image angles are great, but I just could not get a feel for the look of the shoe until I received them. The customer reviews prompted me to purchase two pair a half size apart, both in narrow. The size I typically wear fit the best, while the half size up was a little sloppy. I ended up returning them for a few reasons. First, the one that fit the best - the typical size I wear in DJP, was just a tad short in this style. I don't think it is a full half size shorter, but it is a tiny bit shorter. I was concerned about hitting the end of my toe in the toe box when walking more than a few steps trying the shoes out initially walking on my rug at home. Second, there isn't any padding (it feels) between the toe box and the ground. Yes I see this is obvious in the photographs...but until I put the shoes on I didn't get the feel of this. I prefer DJP styles with thicker soles. I find those personally more comfortable. Third, they just didn't fit with my wardrobe. I think this shoe would rock with classic, tailored clothes. I wear more trendy things. I used to wear very tailored clothes and I can totally see these working style-wise. Zappos return policy is fabulous and I am glad I tried this style of DJP. As an aside, I purchased a pair of shoes online from a well known, upscale department store recently. Silly me! I had to pay a charge of $14.50 for delivery and handling. They took 3 weeks to get to me. Now that I want to return them I'll be charged an additional $9.95 and am told it will likely take 4 to 5 weeks (!!!) for my refund to be credited to my account. Ok, now I only order from Zappos!

Dedicated to this shoe - Never discontinue this one! Maximum comfort and versatility. Perfect except for all, but the most formal occasions. COMFORTABLE! This is the fourth year I have bought more than one pair of this wonderful shoe.

Great - Based on positive reviews I bought a pair and have to say they do look great. The leather makes them look dressy, yet they are still comfy while walking in the city. My 8.5 shoes are a bit tight in the toe but I am hoping that the soft leather will stretch with wear.

Sleek, elegant look for casual or dressy attire - Whether I pair these shoes with jeans or crepe pants, they look terrific - polished, elegant, understated! I liked them so much in black that I promptly ordered an espresso-colored pair. The heel is the right height for me and the shoe comes in narrow, which is a necessity for my foot. The left shoe squeezes my toes a bit, but that happens with every pair of shoes I buy.

Most comfortable shoes ever - I purchased these shoes in black baby calf leather and I swear I cannot feel them on my feet. Never had such comfort in a pair of shoes.

Yet another perfect Donald Pliner shoe - Looks nice, feels comfortable, can dress it up and wear with a suit or dress down and wear with jeans. The "navy" is rather dark and is not black... but you need to look closely in the light as is often the case with navy vs. black

Best ever, right out of the box!! I've got the silk version of these shoes and they have been comfortable right from the start. Highly recommended! I'm ordering more in other colors! But what I can't say yet is how durable the silk is. I wouldn't want to get caught out in the rain wearing them. Otherwise they’re perfect and worth the price!

3 years and counting - This is the third year I have bought this same shoe. It is a professional woman's answer to a prayer. PERFECT with trousers and a suit. I even fly in these shoes. Highly recommended.

A TRUE NARROW - Most narrow shoes are still too wide for my heel, but not this one. Perfect fit. But maybe a little too narrow through the rest of the shoe... jury still out on that. Is comfortable working on my feet on concrete floors, but only for about half of the day, then I change back into my old shoes. (I have worn them now about 4 days.) Am hoping that they will break in to be able to wear all day. Very well made, expensive, but expensive looking, too!

Not a walking shoe for me - I really wanted to love this shoe but after a day of working and walking in the city - my feet were in pain. The shoes work for me if I'm not spending a lot of time walking outside. I love the way the shoes look so will try some third party insoles but have a feeling these shoes will not be a favorite.
