Very stylish set of boots that can pass as loafers. The weathered look adds some flair to the boots while still keeping them classy.

Just got the boots. Nice fit; No issues of the upper digging in to the toe area that I found with Ecco Berlin GTX. Minimal play at the heel. Will wait to see how it performs, but so far, so good!

Good fit, no arch support. Pricey for a shoe made in China. Quality and stitching is so-so.

The service at Zappos is great. I thought the boots I ordered were too tight, so I ordered the next size up, compared them, and returned the pair I didn’t want, all for free. The boots themselves were a little disappointing. The quality just isn’t there: they feel "cheap," and they leak like an old boat. If you walk through the slightest slush or puddle, you’ll have wet feet. The loop you use to pull them on broke the third time I used it. Great company, can’t recommend the "Born Hemlock" boot.

I normally wear a 10 1/2 and these felt pretty close as a 10 1/2. I maybe could have fit better in a size 10, but without trying them on, I don't know. Trying to get shoe fit correctly, by purchasing online, is definitely a hit and miss guessing game. I'm not sure I'll continue to buy online due to that fact. These, however, were comfortable right out of the box and stylish. I got black. With jeans on, they look a bit like a cowboy boot with the toe shape. The toe protrudes out a bit further than I was expecting as well, but all in all, I'm good with the purchase.

I ordered these for my husband because I love Born and have worn them for years. Didn’t realize they made boots for men. He loved the look and quality but couldn’t pull them on, his usual 9 1/2 M was too small. We returned them for size 10 which fit perfectly.

The Born Hemlock boots are incredibly comfortable and required no break in. I look forward to finding out how durable they are over time.

My husband has these boots in Black Full Grain & Brown Full Grain. He loves the comfort, look, and style. Every time he wears the boots he comments on how much he loves them. The boots in Brown Full Grain are a softer leather and scratch/scuff easily. The boots in the Black Full Grain are much hardier and do not have that same issue.

I love them so much, this is my third pair of these boots. And finally in black! With a tug of the back strap as your heal softly pops into place it’s like the comfort and familiarity of an old friend which is what these boots will instantly become. Extraordinarily comfortable, they work dressed up or down, true to size. Durable for years of wearage. Highly recommended. Cheers Born! Don’t go changin’

These boots are great...they look good and feel even better! I bought these boots because of their style...and they are a great price! For all those people who wrote one star reviews because they wore out too fast and did not stand up to a harsh work environment...THEY ARE $100 boots...they are meant to look good, not to be worn at a construction site!!! These boots are made for “after” you get home from the construction site...to go out to dinner with your wife, maybe a movie...drinks...you get my point! Get these boots if you want to look good. Buy steel toed boots for your day job!

Very happy with my purchase of this boot. I bought the black and they are much darker than they look in the images. They have a nice matte finish and look great with a pair of jeans.

Great looking, fits true to size, not the best for big high volume feet, but good for normal or even smaller feet.

Coolest boots I've ever owned - These boots are AWESOME! Look great with jeans. Very, very comfortable. Padded inside. They were a little tight at first, but loosened up very quickly. I'll probably buy another pair when these ware out.

Nice boot. Well made. It was a little to casual for my needs (better with jeans than slacks). The shape of the sole is very rounded and gives an athletic feel while walking; almost a rocking motion. I really liked it considering this is a boot. The boot fits on the narrow side but I think the leather will yield to your foot in time. I am a 10.5 wide and I definitely needed a large size. That said this a a nice looking boot (very Born).

These shoes look great, comfort level is average. I am hoping they mold to my feel well after some regular use. I recommend them for a night when you want to look good, but will not have to walk a lot until you finally get to break them in.

Boots, very comfy. I have a wide foot, and boots fit great after a couple times wearing. Once again Zappos provides outstanding service.

When I first tried them on, they felt much too small and difficult to get my foot in without balling up the sock. After a few wearings around the house, they felt a little closer to what I had expected. But after wearing them for several weeks, I found that I needed thicker socks and that hasn't even stopped my foot from slopping around inside. I have another pair of Born boots that are taller and have a side zipper for each of on and off and that footbed feels much more normal to me Things I like: the leather seems good and the soles are very functional. Things I don't like: the heel loop for easier of donning, continually get in the way and my jeans or pants hang up on the loop. The toe is a much squarer cut than I expected from the picture on the website. In summary, if I had seen how much they were going to stretch out, if that's the correct word, I would have sent them back. Having worn them for a week on a trip, that's no longer and option.
