Great shoe runs small - Ordered the 749 and 965 at the same time in my size 10 1/2 4E. The 749 is too small, toe box too short. Have ordered 11s instead. Great service.

Good Walker - This is my 5th pair of NB shoes and I bought them for walking my mutt. We walk over 2 mi. on sidewalk each day, and these shoes do a good job of protecting my left heal spur. Good fit, no rubs or blisters.

New Balance MW749 - These shoes are very comfortable. No breaking in was necessary. Shipping was extremely quick, had them in 2 days.

Excellent shoe!! True to form New Balance has yet again delivered an exceptional shoe. Very well made and comfortable. One of the few companies that also caters to a wide foot.

New Balance MW749 - I have trouble finding shoes wide enough for my feet. Zappos.com has taken the pain out of shoe shopping. I ordered the New Balance MW749 in size 10, 4E, and the fit was perfect. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I have worn straight out of the box, no break in required.

Comfortable casuals - Comfortable shoe for jeans and casual clothes. Minimal break-in required.

Great Shoe - I have hard to fit feet - high arch and these shoes were comfortable right out of the box.

Great for walking/hiking - I was looking for an all around light weight shoe for walking and hiking. This one is great for both. Very comfortable and sturdy.

A great pair of shoes - I bought these for my husband to take on a trip he has coming up this summer. I suggested he wear them a few times to try out and break in. I think he has worn them everyday since then! Seriously he loves them and asked if they came in other colors. And this from a guy on his feet all day in a business setting.

Great! I purchased the MW748 last summer for my son to trapse around Germany. He loved them to death! He asked for a pair exactly like them. Unfortunately they are discontinued and we purchased these instead. He loves them!! He is hard on shoes and these have lasted so well. Very comfy also!!

I've usually had a great fit right away with New Balance, but my first pair was too narrow and I returned them for the wider size. Fabulous service by Zappos. I will look here first every time in the future.

One of the best darn shoes made - Two years ago, we traveled to Italy. Out trip took us from the streets of Rome to the alpine meadows of the Dolomites. I needed a shoe to give me comfort and support all day in varied circumstances. We walked up to 13 miles a day. These shoes delivered. We are returning to Italy this summer and there was no question which shoe to get. I have a very wide foot so wound up with the 4E size after two tries. Zappos was extremely helpful in making sure I had the right shoe. Their customer service is the best!

I have a pair of these shoes and they are so comfortable, lightweight, great for snow traction etc. that I bought a pair for my husband. With two way shipping paid for there is no risk to the purchaser. In this case though, it was a perfect fit.

New Balance reliable for a good fit - Bought these for a friend who is hard-to-fit. These were perfect right out of the box. Also, he hates big logos all over his shoes so these were a good choice as the "N" is small. Good service from Zappos as always.

New Balance's MW749 - The shoes were comfortable the first time I put them on. They look good, feel good and I enjoy wearing them.

Just what I wanted - I needed a versatile all weather shoe that would be comfortable in different climates. I found it with this shoe. My only complaint is that the sole does not have a lot of traction on ice, something I learned the hard way. Of course, it is not intended for wearing ice skating, but in colder climates where small patches of ice form in parking lots, etc., I had to be careful. The shoe I replaced seemed a little better in those conditions. Overall, I am very happy. It is very comfortable and works for what I needed.

Fit like a glove... (actually like a great shoe!) Tried them at home on carpet. Solid fit. Next day: twelve hour shift at work on concrete floor. Felt great. No aches or pains. Excellent support. Easy to walk in. Support that was missing in the more "stylish" shoes. My feet thank you! One more detail: received the shoes next day... no extra cost. Buy from Zappos. You will love the experience.
