I bought these shoes about 3 months ago at the advice of my foot doctor. I've been happy with them, but can't say that they solved my foot problem. They are nice and wide so really good if you spin or use elliptical machines as your feet have plenty of room and I don't encounter toe numbness any longer. I've also done lots of walking. I don't think I would want to run in them as they are very flat. I also have plantar fasciitis (which is under control) and these shoes did not bring it back. I don't think I'll buy another pair, but if you need a wide comfortable shoe, I'd buy it. They are true to size. Oh, they aren't pretty. I call them my "wide load" sneakers.

These feel wider than expected.

Loved the shoe but not the fact that the "Lollipop" bled while wearing. Money down the drain. It was my Christmas present to myself, I noticed only after three weeks of wear. I was extremely disappointed especially since it was my 6th pair of athletic shoes from New Balance. I was a Nike girl before then. Had numerous foot surgeries and New Balance had the wider shoe, and better arch support. I am a massage therapy instructor so I wear athletic shoes on a daily basis...now what?

had to order this product 3 times before I gave up. I order a 9 wide but the toe box was so I wide and the length was much longer than my insert. So I ordered an 8 1/2 wide too short. Finally a 9 regular. I just settled for this for now. I am not happy because the sneakers looks like its on the wrong foot. The tongue is too short and slides to the side. Very, very disappointed. Will not recommend!

I recently found out that my local New Balance store had closed and the drive to the nearest one was too far. So, I remember hearing someone tell me that Zappos had great selection and free shipping both ways, in case your shoe didn't fit. Well, I found a very large selection of shoes in my special size of extra wide and was able to order easily and quickly. My package arrived faster than I imagined and was packed neatly and fit perfectly. I can't say enough about how pleasant the transaction was and would happily recommend Zappos to family and friends. You can't lose! Great selection, reasonable prices and free shipping both ways.

Very nice shoe. Well made. New Balance store redirected me from this one as it is an over correction for my foot. Caused pain on outside edge.

I have worn New Balance for a number of years to offset the toll working on my feet for years has taken. And these shoes are the best I've ever put on my feet to wear to work. When off my feet, they slightly resemble orthopedic shoes, but I do not care! They are a dream to wear and have helped immensely with a recurring plantar fasicitis problem I've battled for years. You will not regret the high price of these shows. I wear Naot sandals and love how they make tired feet feel revived. This 1123 does the same.

Love, love these shoes! I own several pairs of these shoes in 8 W. I am on my feet all day and these are a feet saver! My toes have room as does the rest of my feet.

It was prescribed from a Doctor to get this shoe. It's a great shoe, the only thing is it's not waterproof - it has holes. But otherwise it's great for regular days.

This is a very awesome and cute shoe! Extremely comfortable and helps relieve the pain I have in my right ankle caused from tendinitis. It was well worth the price for me!

This shoe is worth the money. But, as I remember, it was about 20 dollars less last year! I am on my 2nd pair, and am looking to buy my third. I have flat, wide feet, and wear them with Powerstep orthotics which are the best. I had plantar fascia, and these shoes totally cured me of it. Even after I tried stretching, ice, and cortizone. I wear them at work. Again, worth the money!

I love these shoes! Got them at my local running shop initially, but then ordered them from Zappos when they needed to be replaced. Excellent for motion control. After having my ankle reconstructed I needed something stable, and this shoe is perfect. Accommodates orthotics beautifully.

This shoe is great, especially since I needed to fit an Arizona brace inside along with my size 11 foot! The brace takes up a lot of space. I just wear thick socks on the non-brace foot.

Perfect fit. New Balance has the last combination that works for once thin, now painful feet. Duck feet, big toe box, high arch and thin heel. Never need a break in period. Remember New Balance is made in the USA! And Zappos is what customer service is really about.

This sneaker resembles a high-heeled boat, but it is super comfy. I have problematic wide and flat feet with no arch, as well as hammer toes. I had been wearing the NB 833 for the past few years but wanted to try something different, as that shoe was a bit on the big side for me. The 1123 accommodates my custom orthotics very well. The 833s always felt a bit big and floppy but these fit like a glove, a nice, snug fit in the mid-foot and much better arch support. I order one size up to fit the orthotic. I look forward to many miles of walking in these shoes! As usual, NB is the best shoe for women with wide feet! I give 4 stars for style because it would be nice to have a color other than white.

I have bought many shoes in the past to relieve my pain from plantar faciitis and these are the only shoes that have been successful at doing that. Not the most stylish shoe but it's worth the sacrifice to be able to walk pain free again. Thank you New Balance!

I am diagnosed with plantar fasciitis in both feet, so walking is extremely painful for me. I also have very wide and small feet, which makes it hard to find comfortable shoes. The New Balance WR1123 was specifically recommended for individuals with plantar fasciitis, so I ordered a pair, and hoped for the best. These shoes are amazingly comfortable. I am in awe at how this shoe relieves the pain I feel from my plantar fasciitis. I have been overly pleased with my purchase. The only negative side to this shoe that I have found is that for some reason the tongue on the right shoe constantly moves to the right. I do tie the shoe strings in double bows, but the tongue still gravitates to the right. Strange, but definitely not a show stopper for me. I am considering buying a second pair soon. I highly recommend this shoe for anyone who has the same feet issues as me. You will be pleased!

I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes are the only pair I can wear when the pain is really bad. I bought a pair of orthotics "off the rack" from a local shoe store and they work perfectly in this shoe. I was told that these are the best shoes if you have plantar fasciitis because they have the right amount of arch support and will keep your foot in place. They are very sturdy.

Love this walking shoe. My knees were hurting. After two weeks of walking in these shoes, I realized that I no longer had pain in my knees. Great!

Love this shoe, my toes love it also - lots of toe room and very comfortable. Has all the features my feet need, rollbar, great toe box and easy to lace and keep laced.

These are my favorite sneakers. Great support, come in a nice wide size, accept orthotics and stand up well to lots of wear. New Balance's wide shoes are a true wide. I just wish there were some other accent colors besides purple!

Very good sneaker for women with wide feet who need a lot of cushioning and support. The round toe box also allows easy fit for orthotics. And Zappos service is fantastic!

I have always been reluctant to purchase on-line. Zappos has cured me of the dissatisfaction. I love there prompt service, cheerful attitude when changes need to be made and great products! The prices certainly don't hurt either, cheaper than from the manufacturer!

These are a wonderful shoe. I have Morton's neuroma and plantar fasciitis, and I have very aggressive orthotics, most other shoes fight against the orthotics and keep the orthotics from working like they should. These shoes take them very well and work with them so that I can benefit from the orthotics. They have plenty of room in the toe box and have a lot of cushion - but keeps you very stable while walking. My only complaint would be that they only come in white and get dirty looking quickly - I wish they came in a black. But all in all, it is a great shoe; and I will buy them again. I also have tried the men's 1123s, sized down one and a half sizes, and found the men's have a longer tongue and a little more cushion.
