While my old Bogs - classic Cosmos high with handles - are still my everyday go-to boots for everything after the better part of 10 years, I wanted to get another pair because of the fit, quality, and performance of my other pair. What happened? These are like Herman Munster boots & gone is the nice, snug fit all the way up. I have an almost 2" gap between the back of this new pair & my calf, & I have pretty muscular calves. I was very disappointed with these, and am hoping I can figure out if they still make one with the identical fit of my old pair. As a florist who grows hundreds of her own flowers every year, I can't imagine clodhopping around in these & having the back of the boot flop against the back of my leg all day. My old pair, I've been out in a downpour and the only part of me that stays dry is a perfect outline of the boots. But this new pair leaves such a gap that water would pool inside of them. I'll see if my daughter wants them; if not, I'll be returning them.

I bought a pair of the classic ultra high boots a few years ago and they were perfect - better traction and foot support than normal Bogs, fit great, and held up for multiple years of farm work. When they finally died this spring, I bought these, but discovered the design has changed: now the rubber comes up significantly higher on the boot. While I understand the reasoning behind this (my previous boots wore out at the ankles where the rubber meets the neoprene), the new design were simply not comfortable for me at all - they rubbed on my ankles just walking around the house. I sadly had to return them.

I like these boots they are very comfortable. I only wear them in the winter and this is my second winter and both boots leak. You can hear the water in the soles squishing around when I walk.

I have 4 pair of ladies BOGs purchased 6-12 yrs ago. Love them, live in them when working outside in the yard, and even running errands in wet weather. Wear my old classic highhandles in the middle of winter and my toes have room to spread out and thus stay warm. Both the shorter boot and the classic high handle have been reconfigured in the ladies boots - the toe box is distinctly tapered torpedo style at the end and now they are very uncomfortable. I have sensitive feet and any pressure on the sides creating scrunching of the toes just causes pain. So, purchased a men's version of the classic high and it works thank goodness, but it definitely looks like a farm boot. Not so good for looking stylish while out and about. A shame. Why not at least offer wide?

I really wanted to like these boots but the back portion (where the two different fabrics meet) keep digging into my calves and bruised them.

Very disappointed! I have had for less than three months and I already have a stress crack on top. Spent the money for "good" boots that I thought would last. Obviously not the case.

I ordered my bogs and got the wide calf.. They appeared to be regular calf, so they were to small for me. I gave them to my daughter and she loves them.. I was disappointed but she was thrilled! Great boots for calving season!

I have strong athletic legs with big calfs so naturally I would want to order a wide calf boot. The size is very true to side and the calf width is perfect EXCEPT that this width extends down to just above the ankle so I have a boot that fits perfectly on the foot and at the calf with this AWKWARD large space between my calf and ankle. The only people this boot will fit perfect for are those whose leg is 17" wide from the ankle to the calf. I'm going to sacrifice the wide calf boot (meaning they will always have to be worn under the pant) in order to have a boot that is comfortable walking around in and serving a functional purpose.

I found this boot to fall short of my expectations. Considering I'm a US W 8.5, the 9 felt oddly short in the footbed. The shaft of the boot didn't flatter or comfort the curve of my calf. I like the look of the boot itself - it's sporty and solid - just not for me. Fortunately, I had ordered the Whiteout Fleck for comparison. The Whiteout Fleck was a total win. It's more of a 'looker' for town errands and social activities, but appropriate for winter sporting and mucking about, too.

Nice support in the sole. Wide calf does not seem very wide. I have a painful dent in the top of my right calf after wearing the woman's wide calf model.

My husband wears a size 11 regular in all shoes. Ordered size 11 in these boots, but he couldn't get them on. Returned them & ordered size 12. Still fought to try to get them on with just regular socks. I think that if he wanted to wear them barefoot, that might have worked. But, not practical for winter boots. Great idea with the pull-on straps. Wish they would have worked. Since he couldn't get them on with little effort, don't have a real comment about comfort or other questions required to be answered.

Really wanted to keep these! But the calf was too narrow. I don't have large calves but they are athletic. Just needed to be about an inch wider.

I consistantly wear a size 9 in all brands. I ordered a 10 in these boots and they are too tight overall with no chance of stretching. Very disappointing.

I got a pair of Bogs about four years ago to wear while working at a barn and as a snow/rain boot. However, almost immediately I noticed that the inside of my boot always ended up damp even without submerging the full foot of the boot in any water, and without any evident cracking or damage. In addition, my feet end up freezing within a few minutes of being outdoors in any weather. Every winter I pull them back out in hopes that there will be a turning point, as everyone seems to rave about how warm Bogs are. My mom recently bought a pair and let me try those out for a few weeks as well, but both of us experience the same freezing feet and damp interior. Unfortunately will be continuing to buy other boots.

I wore these in the snow at 30F. My feet were so cold I couldn't feel them other than pain when I walked on them. I had to end sledding with my children early because my feet were so cold. I was really disappointed. They're comfortable and give you the flexibility to move around easily- just not for cold weather.

Boots started coming apart first time I wore them. I have worn them probably 20 times for less than an hour each time. they are separating where the soles meat the uppers.

I don't know how, but I seem to be one of very few people who do not like Bogs. I remember trying on a friend's when she first got them, and loving them, but I had only used them to go to the mailbox and back in the snow (as they were easy to slip on). I finally got my own Bogs a few years later and paid full price for them, although I did get mine through a company that supplies Bogs. I have had mine for just about 2 years now and have already purchased different winter boots. Before the end of my FIRST winter with them, my Bogs had split on the tops of the foot of both boots. Not only that but the liner covering the rubber on the inside of the boot where the heel of your foot would go wore out within days. This is not a huge deal since I am, of course, wearing a good sock with my boots, but the rubber grips my socks and causes them to bunch up. I found them to be extremely slippery on any kind of hard packed snow or ice, and my feet freeze in them no matter the temperature. If it's a chilly Fall day, my feet will freeze in Bogs. I purposefully looked for a boot that could handle cold weather and these have a negative 40 F rating. To be fair, my feet tend to be cold no matter what, but some boots help more than others. Bogs seem to make that problem worse for my feet. Additionally, I don't believe they are completely waterproof, as I walk the lake shore often and find my feet damp every time I do this. I don't submerge my boots completely either. On a positive note, the boots do fit very nicely and are stylish as well as comfortable and easy to slip on and take off. I am not one to choose a boot for style over functionality, so this is why my review is negative. I live in a cold and rugged area and rely heavily on a good boot to get me through Winter. I now use these only when I need to put shoes on in a hurry, or for gardening.

Should of made the boot so your feet and breath, very hot , will be good in winter time, but not in summer as a work boot.

I purchased this for my husband to use when he shovels the snow and to go sledding with our daughter with minimal use after three months I picked up the boots to store them in the right place when I noticed a giant hole inside each boot I contacted bogs I had to repackage send out and wait for them to receive it and resend I've had previous boots such as my daughters baby bogs sole separate from the boot and my boots feel wet at the tips after walking in the snow for a while also they are not warm at all. I put my whole family in bogs after switching from sorels as they gave us super cold feet but once we are done with these boots I will never purchase from them again as I expect products to last. They are great at replacing items but for a month or so you're left with no product will be taking down my reviews for bogs about how amazed I am with them as after using I've been deeply disappointed

I have used Bog boots forever, in particular this style and color...this new tread pattern introduced from 2013 on will wear out within a year. Pairs bought prior to 2013 had a different tread...lasted 3 years - and I wore them EVERYDAY of a winter season...which is about 5 months long here. I am looking for other options.

I loved these boots when I first got them, and got lots of compliments on them. They fit great, were comfortable, and really warm. They were initially waterproof, but after only a few months they started to wear. Now I really can't wear them in wet conditions (which is why I bought them, living in Seattle). They have started coming apart at the seams which let water in. That means I end up with cold and wet feet.

I purchased these for a backpacking trip to Alaska as well as slogging around at home in Oregon. They are too short and very wide for my foot. They seem like they are identical to the men's bogs, which seems to defeat the purpose of ordering women's sizes online. They are also very heavy.

I don't go crazy with these boots, but I do shovel around my car, feed the chickens, load the wood boiler, drive all over creation and go to work in these boots.... Every day, they get wet. If snow melts on them, the inside is wet. I don't understand it. Seems to be no other comments on this problem...are mine just defective? They are super comfortable. These boots are fabulous when it comes to driving a car with a clutch. You can still feel your clutch!!! As I've said, my feet get wet. The boots do stay warm while they are wet....which is good I guess? Cold wet feet aren't the problem. Just wet!
