These are good shoes. I have two sons, aged 7 and 3. I bought this same pair a couple of years ago for my older son, and I bought them again because they held up so well. They are currently holding up well for my younger son after a few weeks of wear. They are easy to get on and off (may even run slightly wide). They are very lightweight. I especially like how the toe is non-scuff.

These shoes are perfect for our active little guy. As the website states, the shoes do run large, so we ordered him a 7.5 (he measures an 8) and they fit perfectly. They look a bit bulky when you first see them, but as soon as you pick them up you notice how lightweight and flexible they are. My favorite feature is the shoe's washability - a must-have for active little toddler feet!

This brand of shoes was recommended by my son's physical therapist as sturdy, light, and supportive shoes. I picked this style randomly with my fingers crossed and they have been a major hit with my four year old. Easy on/easy off, very light, get wet and dry off quickly, superb foot support, and most importantly, as my son calls them, they are 'Superhero shoes'. Worth every penny, will be buying more as the little foot grows.

Great shoes! I\'ve been buying them for my sons for years. They run wide for their wide feet. The shoes are sturdy. The velcro closing makes it easy to put them on and take them off. They can be put in the washing machine - a great feature!

Great lightweight shoes - I purchased the shoes for my son before going on vacation in Orlando, FL. He wore them every day in every park we went to. His feet didn't hurt, no blisters and the shoes are so lightweight, and he wasn't tired of walking or running at all. Great product. Will buy again in the future. Thank you.

Tauchi - Great shoes for my son. Lightweight and comfortable, very well made. Plus you can wash them in wash machine and they still look like new. Great purchase!

Gorgeous and comfy - Love these shoes! My son loves them, too. They are moderately light with so much support, great color and material and very easy for on and off pulling, and has plenty of support.

Works great with an AFO (ankle foot orthosis) Our son wears an AFO on his left foot. This shoe is great. You are able to open it up wide to get the foot & AFO in the shoe. Plus the velcro straps are long enough to close the shoe while wearing the AFO. With Skechers...we had to add additional velcro. The shoe is light weight. I will order more of these shoes. Most Durable brand of shoe ever! My son is hard on shoes and these seem to hold up well and are machine washable. They are not inexpensive, but not crazy expensive and the quality is worth it.

Best of 4 pair tried - I ordered this shoe along with three others to try for my 2 1/2 year old son. These were, hands down, his favorite and most comfortable of all four. The Stride Rite Retrograde H&L was second. We really wanted the Saucony Kids Cohesion NX Lace to work out because they look really, really cute; in a real-running shoe like Dad wears, but miniature kind of way. He consistently picked the Tsukihoshi and Stride Rite as more comfortable. We tried the New Balance Kids KV536NYI as well, but he has a high instep and the New Balance was hard to get on. With his foot, we need a shoe where you can really open the top of the shoe far and wide. The New Balance just doesn't open like that. With the Tsukihoshi and Stride Rite, if you undo the first velcro strap, there's tons of room to slip the shoe on easily. The Tsukihoshi is light and looks like it has good ventilation; that's good because his feet can get hot and sweaty in some shoes. Too soon to tell if the green tea treatment helps them not get stinky. My son was measured as 7 1/2. Normally, I would order an 8 to give just a touch of growing room. I ordered this shoe in a 7 1/2 because Zappos suggests a half size down; I'm happy with the size. They fit now and there's a touch of room to grow. The blue and red color scheme is a little bold, but you can get away with that when you're 2 1/2.

Comfy and cool - This is my 3-year-old's third pair of Tsukihoshi shoes. They are great for a wide foot. My son loves them!

Happy Zappos customer - My boys love Tsukihoshi shoes. They are the lightest shoes so kids are more sure-footed when they're wearing them. Also, the antimicrobial insoles prevent odor.

Tsukihoshi shoes are the best infant/toddler shoe out there. They are lightweight, flexible and stylish. To add, the shoes are durable and washable. My son always seems very comfortable with them on.

Jumping shoes! My son calls them his jumping shoes! Both my kids wear this brand. Shoes are light, washable, flexible, roomy and cushiony! I didn't need to order a half size down so they feel true to size to me.

ANOTHER WINNER - This is the 10th pair of Tsukihoshi’s for me and my little guys and I just have to say, there is no better children's shoe on the market. Sturdy, comfortable, and completely cute! The khaki and orange is adorable. I could just go on and on.

The best shoes ever! Our 4yr old son LOVES these shoes. He is a tip toe walker and has a wide foot. These shoes are very flexible and comfortable. If we would allow him, he would sleep in them. The sizes do run big, so I do advise to purchase a 1/2 size smaller than usual.

Great play shoe - My 2 yr old son loved the look of these so much that he wanted to put them on as soon as I opened them. They are cute, great blue color, wash very well, and they are the only shoe my son will let me put on him each day. Highly recommended.

Great little sneaker - My 4-year old has very sensitive feet and pulls off most shoes saying they are uncomfortable. He put these on, started to run around the house, and kept them on all day. I think they are comfortable because they are lightweight and do not dig in around his ankles. We got these for tot soccer, but they also look decent with most outfits. They are also machine washable, though I haven't tested that yet. They do run a bit large - I wasn't sure, so I ordered two sizes and he fit the smaller size. I may keep the larger ones for him to grow into since it is such an ordeal to find shoes.

Another great Tsukihoshi shoe - Definitely runs even bigger than most Tsukihoshi shoes - I am keeping this pair for later on in Spring once my son's feet grow some more. He picked the olive/orange color and they look great.

Fantastic children's sneakers - My grandson will only wear these shoes. I just bought his second pair because he grew out of the first and he tells me they are his "bestest" shoes.
