Great sneaks! I've had them for a week now and they are one of the best fitting pairs of sneakers I've ever had. They barely need breaking in. They feel great for all 12 hours of my work day, where I am on my feet all day as manager of a hardware store. They even held up great in the woods while playing disc golf. I may buy a second pair as back up.

Shoe is at least one half size small. My normal size 12 feet had toes against the end. Otherwise, very nice shoe and wish they had size 12.5.

Recently ordered the Adidas Sambas. I am 53 yes young my sons ask "Dad where did you get them they are fly. My 10M are a perfect fit. Thanks Zappos! Reggie Columbia SC

Love these shoes! My last pair saw multiple seasons of indoor, running errands and mowing lawns and all that. They lasted me over 10 years before giving up the ghost. Just bought my second pair a couple weeks ago, and they seem to be doing just as well! The reason I bought these instead of the normal Sambas is that torsion bar in the sole. For me, that's what keeps these shoes from being Chuck Taylors that you play soccer in.

I read most of these reviews before I recently purchased these Sambas, and let me tell you ignore the naysayers, these bad boys are perfect. Still, they may not be for everyone. They do run a 1/2 size small so go 1/2 size larger than your usual. The toe box is also narrow so if you have wide feet, you may reconsider. They also are a little stiff out of the box. That's not a bad thing though. Give it a week or two and they'll fit like a glove. There is no squeaking to be heard of, and the only time I heard any was when I did not have them laced up properly. Overall, with the toughness, comfort, and style of this shoe it is one of my all time favorites!

Need to shove some towels before wearing for a better fit in the width. after that they were fine. Nice looking sneakers, well made.

I like my Sambas, but needed an everyday shoe with arch support. These fit the bill perfectly! Actually, I may not go back to classics after these. If you've bought Sambas, you know to order a little larger than normal.

These have a studier platform and are more form fitting than the traditional Sambas. They tend to run a size small, I ordered the next size up and fit right.

I can see where people say the width is narrow because when you initially put these shoes on it does feel a bit snug. However, the leather does stretch and the snugness goes away. This is typical of skate shoes or indoor soccer shoes as the last thing you want is for the shoe to fly off. Overall the shoes are incredibly comfortable and if you think they are a bit narrow my recommendation is to wear them around the house for the day before you decide. You'll be surprised how much they will stretch. Overall size, I typically wear a 12.5 in Nike but went with a 13 here and they fit perfectly. So be aware the the overall size does run a bit small.

The Millenium is a modest update on the classic. If you're a Samba regular--and I'm guessing anyone who reads this will be--they'll do as great a job as ever bridging the gym and jeans, pickup soccer and the street. Like most Adidas, they run a little narrow (which is one of the reasons I keep buying them). Plus, in a bling-afflicted world, you gotta love the price.

These are super comfortable without sacrificing style! I manage a restaurant and wine bar and wear these every shift. They offer decent support and do not cause blisters or the usual achy feet.

I''ve always loved the classic samba. I thought I'd try the millennium and it is great. Its not as immediately comfy as the classic, but i am sure as the leather softens it will be sweet on the feet.

Truly worth the buck, I started playing soccer at age 9 as well as wearing samba's then. I am now 51 years of age, don't kick the ball around but I wear my Samba's every day. I am a lifetime member. truly amazing sneaker. I can't wait to get the millenium series!

This is literally the only sneaker I will ever own. It is extremely comfortable for day to day use. Whether you walk 100 feet or 10 miles, it will be just as comfortable. Buy one pair, and they will last forever.

This is just the perfect sneaker for an active kid. They look great, my kids (both my son and daughter wear them) say they are comfortable and they last.

I love these sneaks. They take the classic Samba and give it some contemporary styling and comfort. A bit more comfortable than the classic Samba, insofar as the upper is better fitted and the sole is softer on the step. The gold accents make it shine! As to performance, the fitted cut makes for a slightly more controlled touch with the upper, and the softer sole makes for grippier top ball work. This is in comparison with the classic Samba. I wouldn't wear these as turf shoes, but they do great on hard, smooth surface play.

These are cool shoes and pretty comfortable. They felt a little stiff at first but broke in quickly. I think I might gate a pair in black too. The only thing is that they were bigger than I thought. I ordered a half size larger because other reviewers suggested that, but I ended up having to order a half size smaller to get the right fit.

Love, love, love! Just like my shoes from high school, 20 years ago! Still get me compliments, on a daily basis!

Love these shoes! I have a pair for both my 8 year old and 4 year old. Both of which are very active and rough on their shoes. These Sambas stand up to just about everything. I am beyond pleased with them!

So far so good! As always with Adidas be sure to go a half size up. These are much more comfortable than my Sambas. I just wish they didn't feel the need to advertise on the center of the shoe. It has there three stripes and says Samba, enough said.

These shoes are very comfortable, and have a very flat rubber bottom. The shoes are great for indoor soccer as well as walking, and they look stylish as well.

Like some of the other reviews have mentioned, the shoe runs a little small. I would suggest going a half size bigger for casual wear. Maybe tight is good if you are using them for futsal and want a really snug fit.

I purchased these shoes in December 2013. I must say these have been the most comfortable right out of the box. I read reviews prior to my purchase which was helpful for 1 went up a half size which served to be correct for the perfect fit. I will most likely purchase another pair in the future.

Very comfortable to play in and wear around town. I got them primarly to play in a regular game on a concrete court that was killing my feet and I have been really happy with my choice. They are so comfortable I often wear them off the court too. I have problems with some soccer shooes being too narrow. These gave me plenty of room.

I like the regular Sambas well enough but the Millennium have more 'shoe'. A nice cross between regular Samba & Superstar. More color options would be nice.
