These are awesome! Same samba style but with slightly cooler updated GFX and better structure inside which makes for a more comfortable shoe. Great.

These get compliments everywhere I go. They are more comfy than your average Samba, but they still lack a little in the way of arch support. I have flat feet and do fine in them, but you feel it at the end of the day. Still, I recommend them.

Nice shoe. Order 1\/2 size up from normal shoe size. A little stiff at first (like all other Sambas I\'ve had) but are really comfortable once they loosen up.

These shoes (in black w/ white stripes) are a decent middle ground between old school/retro looks and modern arch support technology. They’re comfortable for what they’re intended for, which I’d suggest is light casual wear. No, I cannot imagine wearing them for sport – since there is no need to relive the days of when sneakers were all-sport and typically uncomfortable. I found these shoes light in weight but very well constructed, high-quality fit and finish in the stitches and gluing and very comfortable following a few days of break-in wear. I can’t say enough about the excellent online shopping experience from Zappos with free next day delivery from UPS.

Nice - I've been wearing Sambas and Samba Millenniums for about a decade, so I knew what I was getting, however these Millenniums felt at least a full size bigger than they should have.

I think this is going to be my new favorite shoe! Wore these today for the first time. They are super comfortable. Got compliments right away from people too. I have a narrow foot, and these run narrow. Better than expected support. Love 'em!

Cool looking, durable -
My son loves his Samba Millenniums. He actually has the Black/red stripes (AC Milan), which I think are cooler than the basic ones Zappos has, but the shoe itself is great. He is really tough on shoes (soccer, outdoor basketball, etc) but they have held up very well.

I wore the original Sambas as a kid, loved them and had several pairs of them throughout the years. I knew they were comfortable and long lasting shoes that also look great so I ordered another pair. I got them in white, which I never had before and I really like them. Add to that, the shipping was lightning fast from Zappos. It was my first purchase from them and I was extremely impressed and would definitely buy from them again and recommend them to friends also.

Awesome!!!!
I have had sambas for years and I love them, but I had the original. I decided to try something newer, the millennium. They are the best of all of them. They are comfortable, great looking, and overall a sturdy shoe. I love them!!!

Very comfortable -
I've wanted a pair of Samba's for a long time. I really like the old school style, so it works for me. I wear orthotics so I ordered a half size larger and they work perfectly.

Love my Sambas -
This is my second pair of Sambas, as I am an aging soccer girl. These are so sharp and sporty. I love the white/gum sole and the lack of the huge tongue. I always have trouble buying shoes in men's sizes. I wear an 8.5 or 9 in women’s. So I bought a 7.5 in men’s, but I wish that I had bought a 7. Even though they were a little bit big, I didn't want to part with them to send them back. The more I wear them the more comfortable they become. I wear them to go grocery shopping and to work out and run on the treadmill. Hopefully this summer I'll be out playing some pickup soccer. Love 'em. Love 'em. Love 'em.

These Sambas are a nice upgrade on the ooold school ones, but they are still a basic lounging sneaker. They may be great for indoor soccer, but for serious athletics, there's better solutions. For hanging around or a good walk, these are great, and I like the simple design. Nice to have a proper heel cup, and a reasonable amount of padding. I'm one of those people who can easily twist their ankle on uneven ground, so a typical running shoe has too elevated of a heal for me. For size, these are now the largest (number) size I own. I ordered a 11.5, but these Adidas were very small at that size. However Zappos' amazingly helpful agent convinced me a full size up to 12.5 was the way to go.

A definite improvement over the original Sambas (especially the tongue). It does require some breaking-in, though... pretty good traction, fairly decent arch support (finally!), but it does feel a bit narrow around the toe box so you may want to order half a size bigger if you have wide feet. Overall, this is the pair of shoes I turn to when I'm actually playing or when I'm just cruising around town. I would definitely buy again (unless there is a Samba 3 in the works!). Now, if Adidas would only make them in some more colors…

Having worn the Samba classics for two years, I figured the millennium would be a step up in terms of fit and comfort. What the classics lack in grip, the millennium makes up for with its two part sole. However, these never seemed to "gel" with my feet the way the classics did. They never felt as comfortable, never became part of my foot. I was always "aware" that I had shoes on. After a month of wearing them every day, they still did not feel like they had broken in. I went back to wearing my classics and am going to replace them with a new pair of classics in the near future.

Stiff and a bit restricting in the heel on first wear. The suede toe cover contorts and folds during stride. No palpable arch support on my mid-arch foot.

I have been wearing Samba (Classic) off and on for years. They have always been comfy and durable both on and off of the field. When I first saw the Millenniums I was intrigued at how Adidas thought they could improve on such a wonderful show base. Well, they did! The addition of the Torsion System through the shoe adds stability and strength without adding too much stiffness or weight. The formerly flat sole of the Classics now has a bit more profile while still feeling like a more flat shoe. Wonderful feel. There is also additional lateral support in the shoe which helps with the slight rolling feel I used to get in the Classics. This is due, in part, from the Torsion System as well as the side moulding a which adds both stability and style breaking up the formerly long straight line of the Classic footbed. Another innovative improvement by the Adidas Team! The sole has also matured and changed in function and style. There is a larger pivot point as well as the signature 3 outboard compression points along with a wavy swale through the shoe with what seems to be two different hardness/density materials adding both grip and comfort giving you a bit more of a tactile feel of the substrate you are walking or playing upon. Through the arch area is where the Torsion System is most visible on the sole. This area creates some uplift and arch support helping to comfortably lock your foot into the shoe without the feeling of being uncomfortably restrained. The overall styling of the shoe is elegant and refined, much like the Classic and Original yet more of a finished look. The use of leather and suede adds to the look by a nice blending of textures yet is subtle and now a timeless trait of this line of Adidas. At the toe is a stitched Adidas Triple Stripe in white (on the black Millenniums) and at the heel is the same in gold thread... A little glitzy but so nicely done. Just a nice clean look. Overall I am extremely happy with these shoes. Try a pair today!

These are great shoes. I'm wearing them now! The shoe fits a little tight at first but stretches out to be one of the most comfortable shoes I have. I normally wear a 10 but had to get a 10.5 and it is perfect. I wear these all the time, and to Crossfit.

My dog has, over time, eaten all of my sneakers so it was time for a new pair. I am a girl and ordered a pair of Samba Millenniums and a pair of Samba Original Suedes. I am a women's size 9 and went back and forth about what size I should order but I ended up getting a 7½ in both. The Millenniums actually physically look a little longer but they seem to fit more narrow in the toe and feel a bit snug. I will have to break them in. The Originals seem wider in the toe and already fit great. Both are fine in length it is just the Millennium narrow toe that I am hoping will go away after a few wears because they feel like a better shoe. Millennium has more arch support but both are OK. The Originals do squeak on hard wood - this might stop after they get a little dirty? All in all I am a very happy buyer! Just reporting as I read helpful reviews which I used to make my decisions before buying. Now if I can just remember to keep the new kicks up and away from the pup when not on my feet! Otherwise, I will be back for more very soon.

These shoes are awesome and they worked out great! The real review here is on Zappos. WOW! I ordered these in a last minute rush. Long story, but on a Thursday afternoon before a Saturday wedding, the wedding party decided to wear Sambas for our shoes. (Classy, huh?!) My wife found these Milleniums for my son. We wanted to match but these were impossible to find locally in my size. I ordered them late Thursday night and paid for Sat. delivery never thinking they would arrive on time. I got these at my doorstep in less than 24 hours! By 1:00 PM on Friday, I was lacing them up. Zappos is the real deal! I could not have been more pleased and I will be using Zappos again!

Great shoes for great quality. I have had these shoes for about a year and have used them extensively, from soccer to rock climbing and they have held up extremely well. They have started to wear out but are still wearable. But as flats they do not have much arch support.

I purchased these in a size 7 for my 11 year son's indoor soccer activities. This is his first pair of non-child-sized athletic footwear. He's not particularly easy to please, but he was thrilled with these! They seemed to be a little wider across the front so his feet don't feel so crowded. Bottom line, they fit, are well made, and seem to be very comfortable. So comfortable in fact that in addition to handling his soccer duties they have been promoted to regular daily wear as well.

Great Shoes, I normally wear a wide in most shoes and sometimes I have to buy a size larger just so they fit right. I ordered a 13 and it fits great, and they are very comfortable and look great. The traction on them is a plus - my last pair of Adidas were good, but the traction on wet floors or ice was pretty bad. These are very good shoes. And the last pair I bought last me about 4 years before they started to split on the sides - but I used them daily and did performance and sports in them.
