"WOW" sums it up. The other reviewers were right, these boots are AMAZING. I've always wanted a great pair of cowboy boots but never thought I'd find a comfortable pair that I could wear all day at work and even out at night. I saw all the perfect ratings and thought I should give it a shot. These felt perfect right out of the box. The quality is superb. I am very impressed with Lucchese and I now get what the hype is all about. I normally wear a 9B. I ordered a 9C because Zappos was out of 9B and I didn't want to wait. Turns out the C width is perfect for me so these boots might run a tiny bit narrow. However I find they run true to size otherwise. I'm glad I didn't go down a 1/2 size like some customers did. I like to wear medium thickness socks with my boots so that might be a factor. I'll happily wear my Lucchese boots for years and years. Maybe someday I'll treat myself to another pair! I love these boots and I love Zappos.

Wow! The reviews aren't kidding - My feet are hard to fit and I do tons of walking on the hard pavement of NYC. When I slipped this boot on, to my surprise the calf fit perfectly, not too tight like many boots are. At first I thought the heels slipped a bit and the toes were a bit snug. But with all the positive reviews, I kept the boots on. Within minutes of walking around the apt, the boots began to smoothly conform to my feet, with excellent non-obtrusive arch support and supple give to the leather. I took a deep breath and headed to the streets. 4 hours later I was back with more spring in my step and a huge grin on my face for these incredibly comfortable boots that are great for high speed stomping on the hard pavement. And, I had a pile of compliments for the satiny drop-dead gorgeous look of them. NY will kill your feet if the shoes aren't right. Thank you Lucchese and Zappos for this perfect fit and excellent service. I've already ordered my second pair. I ordered my usual size and they were just right.

Very impressed! First of all - I paced my order on a Saturday afternoon and received it on Monday! Very fast - totally impressed! Boots are amazing - the leather is incredibly soft up the length of the boot, perfect fit, wearable right away... and looks even better than the online pic. Very Very Very satisfied.

Superb! Great quality, the leather is extremely soft. Did not need any time to break them in. I only wish that the calf fit a little bit tighter, but that is not cowboy boot style. This is my second pair of Lucchese boots and they are the best.

Lucchese N4604 - Though I'm a regular with Zappos, I didn't order these from them because they didn't carry a size 5, I ordered direct from Lucchese. All the positive things written about this boot are true: Glove-soft leather, very comfortable fit, great arch support. The color is a rich dark tan color, exactly like photo shown. About the size and width: VERY true to size. I wear a size 5 and debated whether to order a 4 1/2 because some reviewers stated they run big but I went ahead and ordered the 5 and so happy I did because they run exact to size, perfect fit. If you wear thick socks with your boots then order a 1/2 larger, the width was true as well. These boots are hand-made so expect very small discrepancies, not every stitch or design will match the other boot exactly.

Beautiful boot! I can't rave enough about this boot! The leather is so soft, like a glove. Requires absolutely no breaking in. Unbelievably soft and comfy from the first wear! Lovely color, rich and deep. Only caution, they're a little wide at the top and because the leather is so soft, they flop open a bit.

So soft! So comfy! I ordered a bunch of boots at once planning to try them all on and return what I didn't want. Even though they were by far the priciest, it was no contest. They are so comfortable and the leather is such good quality. I'm usually a second-guesser on my purchases but these have been consistently great. So worth it.

Fabulous boots!!! I have always wanted a pair of cowboy boots and finally at age 50, I ordered a pair. These boots were good to go from day one. I wore them as I walked all over New York City. I kept my trusty Dansko clogs in my bag in case I had any discomfort but I never had to change. I have gotten tons of compliments and I love the way they look and feel. I wish I could afford to get another pair in brown. Maybe when I turn 60!!!

Fabulous Boots - I love these boots and I love Zappos.com. In the picture the boot leather looked rougher and stiffer. When the boots came in the mail, I couldn't believe how soft the leather really was. It felt like butter. I receive compliments on them every time I wear them. This is my second pair of Lucchese boots and I'm sold. I wore the first pair completely out. As for Zappos, I couldn't believe their service. I ordered the boots on Thursday afternoon and I received the boots the next afternoon. How fabulous is that!

Love my boots! Lucchese makes beautiful boots! This is my second pair and, like the first, they are comfy right out of the box and fit like a glove. Soft but sturdy leather and really well constructed. I am a true size 8 and I got a 7.5. I like to wear my boots with the thinnest of socks and with the 7.5, these fit appropriately snug. I need to stretch the left boot at the instep because my left foot is a tad bigger than the right. I am happy as a clam, and am waiting for a windfall so I can buy those chocolate suede Lucchese boots!

Simply delicious - These are delicious comfortable boots. I get regular compliments. They fit like a glove (I generally wear an 8 but I took the advice of other folks and ordered a half size smaller than I usually wear in shoes so they're a 7 1/2). The color is beautiful the leather is divine. I've never worn cowgirl boots before; I thought they'd be uncomfortable. Not so. They were comfortable from day one. I wear them EVERYWHERE.

MY FAVORITE SHOES...EVER!!! These are by far the sexiest, most comfortable boots I have ever worn. They were broken in just moments after I got them and are far more comfortable than my UGGS and Nikes combined! I figured I would wear them a few times a week but had no idea that I would end up wearing them LITERALLY every single day (unless I am wearing my other pair of Lucchese boots, that is!). These are worth every penny & I can't wait to get more. A word of advice: Don't worry about the initial heel slippage when you first put the boots on. At first, I thought mine were too big since I have narrow feet but, once I walked around in them for awhile, the sole started to bend and there wasn't that "slippage" that is so irritating with cheaper boots. LOVE THESE!!!

Just Like I'd Hoped - Always wanted Western boots and finally treated myself. These are gorgeous and were comfortable the first time I wore them. Thank you for your great service and terrific selection.

Best Western Boot Ever - Had a pair in college - then over the years tried to replicate comfort and style - always a failure - BUT GOT THESE 2 WEEKS AGO AND WANT TO WEAR THEM EVEN TO SLEEP......comfort and fit are perfect. I am a 6.5 medium with a medium instep and these fit like a glove. Am looking for a black pair they are so great.

Best Boots - Very comfortable, great insoles, beautifully made - walked all over San Francisco in them. Terrific heel height (not too much or too little) and make me look like a Rock Star. Worth every penny.

Pleased cowgirl. These boots are awesome! They look fantastic and are exactly what I wanted. They are classic in style and have that rustic warn look, a true cowboy boot. I was skeptical ordering something on line that I have not tried, but true to the picture and the price paid they are a great quality boot. They fit well, true to size and you'll want to wear them to break them in a bit, but the first day I put them on they fit exactly how these type of boots should. The service was excellent, of course.

What a great shopping experience! This was my first time with Zappos and it won't be the last. I saw cowboy boots in a Western store, tried a few on then figured I'd see what’s online. This brand is just what I wanted. Compliments all around. They shipped to my office and co-workers oohed and ahh'd over these boots. A great feel and look. Real nice leather and a good fit. Can wear these boots more than 8 hours. I wear jeans more often just to wear the boots. Guys think they're very good looking, too! Way cool.

I love the Ranch Hand Leather of these boots - very soft, not overly thick, smells wonderful. Unfortunately I returned because I do not like the #5 style toe, plus they ran very long on my size 9A feet (I ordered a 9B) but should have ordered an 8.5 instead and the 5 toe amplified the extra length. I like this boot enough that I searched out the style with an R toe in a half size smaller which I am hoping will fit my feet much better. Wish Zappos offered more women's Lucchese boots with either a J or R toe - it seems everything is a 5 toe which I understand is the most popular style but it just doesn't work for me.

I've never owned a pair of cowgirl boots until I bought these. They just never appealed to me. Then I went to Nashville for a music festival and got sucked in to the western/cowgirl boot thing. The first boot store I went to had junk. Everything was made in China and the boots made my feet hurt just looking at them. Then I went to another store and got an education on the Lucchese brand. And what a brand it is. Slipping on these boots feels like pure luxury. No break in period needed. No pinching anywhere. Once the body temperature hits the super supple calf leather, the boots start molding to your feet. I could run a marathon in these! I tried my regular dress shoe size 8 with the store's thick cotton socks and so they felt a bit snug. Knowing I would wear non-padded Smartwool socks, I was confident I had the right size. The leather quality is top notch and really does conform to your feet in no time. I can't get over how comfy they are and how cool they look. I live in DC where western boots are definitely not standard attire (at least since G.W. Bush left the white house) and I see envy in their eyes.
