These were purchased for my son - he found them very comfortable - he has a wide foot - the regular width was a good match but if your foot is medium or narrow I would suggest going with the narrow... and the sizing is on the generous side...almost like slippers as far as comfort - A GREAT CHOICE!!

Love this pair of Birks - I usually wear the sandals, but I wanted a pair of the clogs for Xmas, my Mom ordered them, they are great. At first I didn’t like the black that she picked, but after wearing them, they look great!! They just needed to break in to get the right look. Great Shoes.

My "dress" Birkies! I love the way this shoe fits! It has a slightly higher arch and is slightly more narrow than my Arizonas. I find that I do not get fatigued walking and standing, and it has a "dressier" appearance than the Arizonas. I love them both, but this is my favorite, and my definite choice if I am going to be on my feet for an extended period of time.

Birkenstock Boston - I own the Birkenstock Boston in brown and recently bought it in black. The brown ones are extremely comfortable but the new black ones are not comfortable at all. The footbed does not fit my foot well.

First time Birkenstock owner - I love my new Birkenstock Bostons. The shoe is made of top quality leather. It is very comfortable. The fit was true to size. Zappos is a great company and I will be shopping with them again. They get an A+ for quality, service, and speed. Thank you for handling such a quality and trusted shoe as the Birkenstock.

Comfortable and Stylish! I love these shoes! I used to think Birks were ugly but once I got my pair, I realized they are the best shoes in the world! I love the way the shoe contours to my feet and makes them feel comfortable at all times. One thing a person may want to note is BUY A SIZE SMALLER! I read a review saying to do so and I did not, even though now I realized that I should have.

Great alternative to flip-flops - Looks good, is comfortable, and doesn't annoy my mom the way wearing flip-flops in fall does!

Love these shoes! These shoes are always great. I have a pair of the brown ones, but I'm 6 months pregnant and needed another pair of shoes without shoelaces. So comfy and the dark grey wool is very warm and goes well with jeans.

Feel great! My first pair of Birks. I bought the model with extra arch support, and have loved the fit and comfort. I have plantar fascitis and a wide foot, and these have worked well for me. I'm now a Birk fan.

Birkenstock are THE BEST - There is no doubt, Birkenstock shoes are the best! They are simply awesome! I am happy to see young girls finally wear them here in the USA, but don't be fooled! They are not made that well. I guess for a teen it would be ok since they change shoe styles a lot (and not everyone can afford the high price), but if you know you love this kind of shoe, go with the original! You won't regret it!

Very comfortable - I have trouble finding shoes that fit my foot; I have wide foot and a high arch. I've tried a lot of shoes and these were one of the few that actually felt comfortable for a whole day.

My sister had a pair of these and raved about them "the only shoe she ever wears". Definitely a shoe built for comfort, not so much for looks, but the style does grow on you. I plan to order another pair in another color.

Great with Socks - The Birkenstock Boston is a very comfortable shoe. I typically wear a 10 to 10 & 1/2 medium width shoe. I purchased the Boston in a 41 narrow and found it to be a little too wide for my feet. This was fine with me because I had planned to wear it with heavy-knit socks. With heavy-knit socks, the fit is perfect.

Birkenstock Boston - This is a long-time favorite slip-on shoe. I prefer the regular leather, not Nubuck. I buy this shoe again, year after year.

Comfortable Shoes - Not the best looking shoe, but definitely the most comfortable shoe. I waited a long time to purchase this shoe because I was unsure if I would like the way they looked once I received them. I'm really glad I did because the comfort more than makes up for any appearance shortcomings.

At last... I have found a shoe that doesn't leave me dreading getting out of bed in the morning. I have Plantar Fasciitis in my left foot and have worn an arch support insert for the last 7-8 months and it was really ineffective. The insert provided some support but it’s nothing compared to the Birkenstock’s that I just bought this weekend. I’ll only keep a pair of black dress shoes for formal occasions but from now on I’ll only be wearing Birkenstocks. I can’t believe that it took me so long to find this brand. My feet were uncomfortable the first couple days but it was nothing compared to the pain of getting out of bed in the morning before. I find myself looking for a reason to walk somewhere now. The difference can be felt everywhere, in my posture, in my legs and definitely my feet. What a pair of miracle shoes!

My Boston Birk Purchase - I LOVE the look of the Boston Birk. Since I wear Birks almost exclusively, I knew the fit would be perfect--and it is! The reason I wear Birks is because they are SOOOOOOO comfortable. Lastly, I purchase from Zappos because their customer service is A-#1! They are quick to ship and offer very competitive prices.

Fabulous! I absolutely love these shoes... I am a teenager so I wear these all the time... especially with jeans and cords. They are so comfy and they look good with everything. I love these shoes!

Fantastic fit and good looking!!!!! I ordered these shoes for my daughter and since she has received them, she is yet to wear another, except for on the days that she has gym. She has also requested the black pair...and believe me the Birks were a hard brand to sell to her. Both of us are completely satisfied. Thanks Zappos for the great customer service.

LOVE my Boston’s...and Florida’s!! I have worn Birkenstock Florida sandals for years and have approximately 15 pairs...I purchased a pair of the Boston clogs about a month ago and I have now found my second love!! Very comfortable! They actually make my feet feel better after being on my feet all day. The service here is also the best!!

Love these! I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis, and needed good supportive shoes for weekends/casual use. I love these clogs! The arches are pretty high, and since I'm flat footed, it took awhile to break in - maybe 2 weeks? They fit perfectly now. They run *very* wide, so I would estimate that a narrow in this clog is more like a medium width in other shoes. I still wear supportive tennis shoes for long periods of time on my feet, but this is my everyday casual shoe.

Good for standing - I have been a teacher for 30 years and all those years of standing have taken a toll on my arches and ankles. These are the only shoes that get me through my day.

Love my Birkies! Having spent way too much money on other shoes (Finn comfort, Quarks, Danskos, to name a few) for working 12 shifts on my feet as a nurse, I am happy to say that I have come full circle back to the shoes I started out wearing 8 yrs ago. I NEVER had foot issues when I work my Birkenstocks. My feet are once again happy and I can walk with ease. From now on I will stick with what works best!

Great clogs!!! I really love the Boston. I bought them in black leather. I have worn Birkenstocks but never this style. I have seen these for years and was always taken with them. I will wear these with a simple pair of black Levis and a really gorgeous and luxurious cashmere sweater in the winter and a soft, soft John Smedley cotton top in the spring and summer, with a simple exotic skin belt.
