Now in my 5th or 6th pair over the last twenty or so years, these are the standard, good casual and boating shoes. Originally made in USA with far superior comfort and quality but like all manufacturers, Sperry has sent their production to the lowest (cheapest) bidders and the shoes have come from China, SE Asia, and now Dominican Republic. The leather seems much thinner and I hope the quality holds up. As others have written, the fabric along the sides eventually gives out and splits and on the last pair, even the laces became cheaper and no longer stay tied - have to double knot them like mother used to. They still have that superior Sperry sole and are reasonably comfortable for sockless wear. Whatever happened to American quality? Used to be the best in the world.

Fit is true to size and style is what you would expect. Purchased "Dark Tan" which was not as dark as pictured. Would put the color half way between light and dark (as pictured). Nice shoe, reasonably comfortable but not out of the box. Requires some break in time but then is fine.

Good quality shoe with internal heal pad. Ran big so had to return for a smaller size.

Pretty comfy given the generous padding. Insole is not removable. My only complaint is the toe box is too narrow even in a wide. I compared these to a pair of SAS shoes and there was no question. Had I not compared the two I probably would have kept these, but the others are just more flexible, cushioned, and have lots of toe room. These are also quite heavy for a boat shoe.

They were great but totally fell apart after 5 months of less than daily wear.

Love Sperrys and these have been my husbands favorite shoe for years. We buy a pair about every other year. Tried the dark tan this time and love that color. Only issue is they are very narrow! Having to return and will get the wide instead; off because it has never be an issue before but I have seen it several times on these reviews.

Mostly satisfied with these shoes! Only complaint I would have is that they take a while to break in...once they are though, vey comfortable. Prior to breaking in it was a bit painful at the heel.

Good quality shoe, have not had time to wear them that often so I cannot give a complete review at this time. Overall feels comfortable but size runs a little big.

I purchased these shoes for my son for a birthday gift in January, he loved them, but by the end of February one shoe was coming apart. I took them to a shoe repair, they told my Zappos is great about replacing and to call first. It was a wonderful experience, they did not even make me send the damaged shoe back and sent a new pair within two days of my call. We were all very pleased and are hoping that this pair lasts a lot longer!

Just received yesterday, so can only comment that they are beautiful shoes, seem to be well made. The are little narrow (I ordered the 3w) and a little long, but so far they are comfortable. I wore them today and had no problems.

These are great looking shoes. They have the solid look and feel of Sperry with a little dressier styling. They will be great to get into regular usage once the no sock season comes back around. They are very comfortable.

I really, really like the look, feel, and fit of these shoes. They have great cushioning as well. I also appreciate Sperry offering wider sizes. The only thing I don't like is the material on the back, as it has rubbed my Achilles tendon raw. Hoping this issue will go away once I break the shoe in better. Also, I found the pair I got to be lighter in color than what is pictured.

I bought this shoe for my son, he did say they were a bit heavy. They're required shoes for his school.

The sizing runs large. I ordered my normally fitting size, but the shoes were about a size too large. They are really nice quality and style, though!

I called in my order rather than ordering over the internet because for some reason the website wouldn't accept my credit card. The operator who took my order was extremely helpful. He took his time to make sure I was completely satisfied considering I'd already had a problem with online ordering. The shoe is great, but the outstanding customer service is what will keep me coming back.

Solid shoe but don't expect it to last. Mine developed a tear on the mesh side in a years time and are up for replacement. Probably 30 wears out of the shoes before showing serious decline.

Nice lightweight shoe for the money. A littler wider in the heel than I would need. Would have ordered a narrow but not available. I find if I lace them tight, fit was adequate. I like the coolness from the ventilation. Not enough support for walking long distances but fine around the house.

Very comfortable version of the topsider. As one of the few 'bros' in the NE who actually sails and wears boat shoes (not just the latter) I can say they grip well on a wet deck and are very comfortable to walk around town. I'd buy again.
