I bought these for my sons who have wide feet. The wide was fine for one but 3xw was cut very narrow. If you have an extra wide foot you better go with a different shoe. Drew or Rockports fit wides well.

I previously owned a pair of Sperry Cutter 2-eye shoes. They were great, but unfortunately I wore the soles out. I went to buy a replacement pair, but found out they were discontinued. The closest I could find was the Billfish 3-eye shoe. How disappointing! After wearing the shoes one day, I had blisters on both heels. The Billfish are cut lower in the back (the Cutter 2-eye also has a pad at the top of the heel) and the toe box is narrower, so my toes feel cramped. Overall, I am very disappointed that Sperry discontinued a great shoe (Cutter 2-eye) and replaced it with the Billfish.

I cannot recommend this shoe. The first time I wore them they actually rubbed off the skin under my ankle bone. These shoes are very stiff and cut too high to where they dig into my ankle bone causing great discomfort. I no longer wear this shoe but because I wore them outside I can't return them. I bought a similar pair in the Gold Cup model and they are so much more comfortable. If it's in your budget, go with the Gold Cup.

Insoles come loose from footbed. Sperry does not have replacements. Happened in 3 pairs now. usable life is less than 3 months.

Fit and size were perfect. Very comfortable to wear. Delivery was fast and on time. I needed them for an event and it was critical they be delivered on time and Zappos performed by shipping them immediately and they arrived at the promised date.

Excellent pair of boat shoes, very comfortable to wear, with good arch support . I particularly like the Billfish model boat shoe because it has a heel that is higher than the forefoot. Most all Sperry's boat shoes are totally flat. I do not like totally flat shoes.

Bought these top-siders for my husband to update his worn out loafers. We bought these and a pair of classic boat shoes in brown. He is impressed by the level of comfort and likes the fashion statement with a pair of khakis or shorts. He even decided to bring them on our trip to Europe for dinners out. We both like that he can comfortably dress up a look while still looking young and feeling like himself! Only complaint - they scuff easily.

I buy one pair of these every year just like clockwork. Keep 2 pairs in each of our homes just rotate them out...newest pair in oldest out..I prefer the dark tan, they seem to age better for me...the shoe is true to size and comes in different widths which helps...these things are bullet proof, great on the water or just banging around...they go well with shorts, jeans or Khakis. I especially like them because I don't have to wear socks...Sperry quality is epic and Zappos service is second to none...

For me, the best shoes ever. Whether it's for casual, outings, hiking, school, church, you name it. Simple but elegant. These shoes are simply amazing. I can't count how many Topsiders I have bought since high school. I'm now 55 and still wearing it.

Having tried out several less expensive brands of boat shoe, I can definitely say that you get what you pay for with these. They're very well made, and solid. It does take a while for them to break in, and they might be a bit uncomfortable until they do, but they're quite comfortable once the leather softens up a bit. Definitely work the money.

My son literally wore out his pair of these Sperrys so I ordered him a new pair. Can't believe they came in one day! He loves them, but we already knew that.

I love my Sperrys. I have had the pair I'm about to get rid of since I was 16 (I'm 21 now) and until recently they held up fine. I wore mine all the time in all conditions for many occasions. I would say any guy in his teens and 20's should definitely own a pair of these. Great for almost every occasion.

Ordered these for the hubby. He had a pair about 10 years old that he kept trying to clean up. He is so happy with these shoes...more comfortable than just about any shoe out there. I'm happy with Zappos overnight delivery with free returns. Win-win!

The Sperry Top-Sider Billfish are high quality shoes that will offer I hope years of pleasure. First pair I got as 12's were too long, so sent them back to get 11.5 and that was the number. My feet measure 11 1/4 from heel to toe and they, after a couple day of break in, area spot on. Can say zappos.com is the place I will be getting all my shoes in the future with the fast shipping and no cost return policy.

These shoes look and feel great! I was able to order the size I wanted, and it fit like I expected.

These were my first pair of Sperry's and I can say that they are incredibly comfortable and well fitting as well as being a great looking shoe. Easy to wear all day and surprisingly versatile.

My husband had these Sperry's in the normal width before and wore them to death; he asked if the next pair we could find him a wider width so I found these and he loves them!

My husband is one of those guys who would wear a $39.99 Nike knock-off and call it good, so it took me a while to get him to try these Billfish Top-Siders. Once he put them on, though, he could see they were cool and could feel they were super comfortable. Two years later, that pair has some serious wear on the heels. Husband didn't bat an eye when I said I would order him another pair. He loves them, and he looks great. He wears a 9.5W.
